Beef liver pate
For the pate you will need:
500 grams of liver
2 large onions
5 hard-boiled eggs
2 cloves of garlic
50 grams of melted or soft butter
Salt
Pepper
1 tablespoon of flour for frying liver
A few leaves of tarragon, thyme and sage
Nutmeg
Oil for frying
Directions :
Fry the chopped onion in oil in a heated frying pan until golden brown. Add chopped garlic at the end.
Take out the onion and garlic.
Fry the liver piece (covered with spiced flour)
in the remaining oil, salt and pepper them, cover with a lid and simmer until cooked. If necessary add a small amount of water.
Put the cooled liver, together with the gravy, eggs, onions with garlic, spices (to taste) in a blender bowl and process.
Taste it and, if necessary, add salt and pepper.
Put pate in bowls, flatten and pour a thin layer of melted butter.
Or you can spread soft butter to cover pate.
