Good morning♪ I’m starting to make breakfast It’s getting light earlier than I realized If I sleep with the curtains open, I wake up around 5:00 a.m. 👀 The rice is ready! ✨ Today’s miso soup is the standard miso soup with carrots, daikon radish, and tofu By the way, today I’m trying to take video with the front camera for the first time in a while 📷 This small camera is compact and convenient, but the battery runs out quickly, which is a downside… The battery charger has also been malfunctioning lately The miso soup powder is a mixture of bonito and sardine powder Add the miso after the vegetables have cooked Open the pickle jar! Today’s pickles are zucchini and myoga Yesterday, the cucumbers were sold out at the supermarket… They must have sold out quickly during the sale Instead, I tried adding zucchini It’s pretty tasty ☺️ I’ll eat the leftovers for lunch Next, I’ll make simmered dried daikon radish Don’t soak it in water, just rinse it quickly This recipe only uses soy sauce for seasoning, but the onion is the key Sauté the onion slowly to bring out its sweetness Even without sugar, it’s very tasty Cut the carrot into thin strips The wakame seaweed will be used later for the omelet Soak it in water beforehand Today’s omelet will have wakame seaweed in it 😊 Sauté the carrots and onions Sauté until they become translucent and lightly colored When it looks like this, it’s ready! Add 300cc of water and 1 1/2 tablespoons of soy sauce Add the dried daikon radish and fried tofu and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes (I think I forgot something…) For the miso soup, just dissolve the miso and it’s ready Reheat it again just before eating Next is tamagoyaki (omelet) 🥚 4 eggs 2 teaspoons of white dashi, 2 tablespoons of water Mix well ? My daughter woke up The alarm clock broke (?) and rang earlier than usual I realized I hadn’t added soy sauce It was going to be a bland stew 🫤 Squeeze the water out of the wakame seaweed, and make tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet) Place the wakame on top and roll it up I often make tamagoyaki with nori seaweed; this might be my first time using wakame Done Two each per person Like this♪ The dried daikon radish is done when the liquid has reduced Next is natto♪ This natto, which I’m sometimes asked about, is purchased from Seikatsu Club, a food delivery service. Mix in some soy sauce, and add some green onions I bought something called ‘soy sauce for eggs,’ but it’s so delicious that I end up using it on other things too Apples are expensive lately, so I hesitate to buy them But my daughter wants to eat them, so… Let’s eat! 🙏 Today, I think I’ll try the new supermarket in the neighborhood It seems to have opened a few days ago After seeing my daughter off, I busily do the dishes I quickly clean up She said her alarm clock was broken, but it was working fine. It’s great that you can eat it right away if you freeze it Stir-fried okra It’s already dinner time First, cut the ingredients for the miso soup.🔪 Chinese cabbage 🥬 Today, I plan to make meat rolls and simmered eggplant Meat rolls are delicious no matter what you wrap in them 🍖 Today, I’m making meat rolls with tofu and chikuwa ♪ I’ll also add shiitake mushrooms and fried tofu to the miso soup Today’s meal turned out like this♪ I plan to easily make the eggplant stew in the microwave 2.5 tablespoons of 3x concentrated noodle soup base, 1 tablespoon of mirin, 1 tablespoon of sake, 2 tablespoons of water Remove the stem from the eggplant and cut it in half lengthwise Make cuts in the skin to help the flavor penetrate Cut the remaining 3 eggplants in the same way Most eggplant stews use oil, but this recipe is oil-free, making it very healthy⭐️ Add the eggplant to a heat-resistant container with the seasonings The key is to coat the eggplant evenly with the seasonings. ✨ Place the eggplant skin-side down and microwave for 3 minutes Add the Chinese cabbage leaves to the miso soup and simmer briefly Add miso to finish Flip the eggplant and microwave for another 3 minutes Be careful, it’s very hot Done! Using the microwave makes it very soft without using oil It’s also nice that you don’t have to adjust the heat, making it easy to prepare Done~I’ll make a simple snack using new onions (My daughter seems to have started practicing the piano 🎹) Slice the new onions thinly and soak them in water to remove the sharpness Soak for about 10 minutes Cut the zucchini to accompany the meat rolls Make cheese chikuwa meat rolls and tofu meat rolls They were selling cheese specifically for chikuwa (?) ✨ Stuff the cheese into the chikuwa, then wrap it in meat ☺️ The same length as the chikuwa I thought it would go more smoothly. 😅 When I pressed it in tightly, it only went halfway. 😅 I’ll push it in from the other side as well I’m also making tofu meat rolls These tofu meat rolls are satisfying and low in calories I’m wrapping drained cotton tofu in meat We’ll also wrap chikuwa Since we had a lot of meat, we used two slices By the way, today we’re using pork loin, but you can also use pork belly⭐️ Pork belly will give a richer texture Sprinkle potato starch around the edges Lightly coat with salad oil and fry Arrange the meat so that the rolled end is facing down Roll it around while frying the entire surface Make sure to fry the sides thoroughly 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of grated garlic Seasoned with garlic soy sauce! Don’t worry about the cheese sticking out, lol Cheese chikuwa meat rolls are a hit with kids! Drizzle the remaining sauce over it and it’s done! Bake the zucchini in a frying pan lined with aluminum foil Try to keep the fat content low Garnish with cherry tomatoes and zucchini to finish!✨ Rinse the new onions in fresh water at the end This removes most of the spiciness Top with bonito flakes and egg yolk Drizzle with ponzu sauce before eating Mixing in the egg yolk adds richness, making it a slightly luxurious onion salad. ☺️ I’ll prepare the pickles for tomorrow and then go to bed. 💤 Cucumber~ 🥒 I added three cucumbers People always ask me if I ate a lot of rice in the morning. 😂 I’ll eat rice later! First, I’ll start with miso soup Add mushrooms Make shishito pepper and anchovy stir-fry⭐️ Stir-fry the anchovies in sesame oil Stir-fry well until crispy for a delicious result ✨ Add the shishito peppers and stir-fry further Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of mirin, and 1 tablespoon of sake Stir-fry until the liquid evaporates, and it’s done! Shishito peppers are perfect for summer, even though it’s not summer yet Apples again today I made one into a rabbit 🐇 Pickled vegetables The cucumbers were large, so they don’t seem to be pickled very well yet I’ll leave the other two in a little longer Fried egg 🍳 Steamed with water Since there’s some leftover egg white from yesterday, I’ll make egg whites too My daughter seems to prefer egg whites over yolks Then there’s the leftover dried daikon radish from yesterday And natto Let’s eat I’m the type who eats the white first, while my daughter is the type who eats the white with the yolk. 👧 I’m going shopping soon, but first I need to rescue the pickled vegetables I’ll wash and cut them later. 😌 The wakame is calling. 🦜 Bye-bye I bought cosmetics and cleaning supplies This is the barley toner I use a lot in the summer I’ll practice piano and then have lunch. 🍚 🎵Flower Dance I have computer work to do this afternoon, so I’ll eat lunch early.🍚 I’ll make namero with sashimi mackerel I actually thawed it yesterday because I was going to eat it, but I forgot to eat it lol Making namero is super easy ✨ Chop up some green onions and shiso leaves, add sashimi-grade mackerel, 1 teaspoon of miso, and a little ginger, then just pound it until you’re satisfied! Simple and delicious namero is complete⭐️ Then, the remaining pickled vegetables Serve the rice, and lunch is complete I also added an egg. 😊 Let’s eat! I came to the garden during my break from work The tomatoes and corn are growing endlessly. 🌽🍅 Weeds are growing too Shiso has sprouted on its own On the other hand, the watermelon isn’t growing at all. 😅 I reinforced the stems that are growing rapidly It’s dinner time I’m making steamed broccoli with white dashi and garlic Slice the garlic thinly or chop it finely I chopped it finely Put the broccoli and garlic in a frying pan, add 1.5 tablespoons of white dashi and 1.5 tablespoons of water, cover, and heat for 3 minutes Remove the lid and let the moisture evaporate, and it’s done! ✨ A simple but delicious broccoli recipe! ✨ Make mung bean sprout namul Slice the carrot thinly Boil the bean sprouts and carrots for 1.5 minutes Save the water for later use by scooping it out with a strainer Transfer to a colander and let it cool Add a little sake and boil the pork This is thinly sliced meat for shabu-shabu Blanch it to remove impurities and excess oil Today, we’re making pork shabu-shabu and tofu miso stew 300cc of water, 1 teaspoon of granulated dashi, 3 tablespoons of miso, and 3 tablespoons of mirin Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces Once the broth comes to a boil, add the tofu Simmer for about 10 minutes!
