Please subscribe to my channel Today I want to make cocoa steamed bread. This is a series of steamed breads easily made with pancake mix and frying pan. This time going to make cocoa steamed bread and I want to finish the surface with marbling. I will explain how to do the marbling as I make it. The ingredients are easy to find and very simple to make. I hope you’ll have a great time. Please have a look at it. Easy recipes at home Let’s start by introducing today’s ingredients. Here are the ingredients. Here are the ingredients: pancake mix, milk, sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, salad oil. First of all, sugar, we’re going to use white sugar. You can also substitute granulated sugar or brown sugar if you like. If you want to make it puff up nicely, try using sugar, granulated sugar, or cane sugar. You can also add nuts and other ingredients here for a delicious taste. You can do this one to your liking. And this time I will use size 8 paper cups. These were purchased at the 100 yen store, Candu. This paper cup is coated with silicon resin on both sides. However, if you use only this paper cup, the dough will spread out when you put it in, so put it in a container of about the same size as this one. By the way, the container below here is a heat-resistant silicone cup. The size is size 8, the same as the paper cups. These are also sold at 100 yen stores, so please check them out. Now let’s set the container before making the dough like this. So let’s get started making it. Easy recipes at home Now let’s make the dough. First, crack the eggs into a bowl. Then lightly unwrap the eggs. Once lightly unraveled, add sugar. Mix quickly after adding sugar. Be sure to mix the sugar as soon as you add it, because the sugar absorbs the water from the eggs and will form grains if left untreated. OK. Add salad oil here. The addition of salad oil makes it very moist. Now mix. Make sure to mix the ingredients thoroughly each time they are added. This will help the dough to be even and to blend even better. Then add milk. And mix well. If this eliminates the crunchiness of the sugar, you’re good to go. Mix well until then. Then add the pancake mix. You can add the pancake mix as is without sifting. Mix well to avoid lumps. OK. Mix thoroughly in this manner until there are no lumps. Then going to make the marble this time, but the main dough is going to be cocoa dough. So at this point, I will remove the plain dough for the marble. Now I’m going to remove roughly 2 tablespoons from this dough. Remove about this much. Now add the cocoa powder to the leftover dough. Now sift it. And mix well. The cocoa dough is now ok. Mix thoroughly until the color of the dough is uniform. Now I will pour this into the container. When pouring it in, it will be easier if you replace the container with one that has a spout like this. If you don’t have something like this, try scooping it in with a spoon. Now I would like to replace it here. The fabric is now ready. Now fill the container with the dough until it is roughly the eighth part of the container you prepared at the beginning. Put this much in. Now put in the rest in the same way. Put them in the mold like this. Now I will make a marble shape by dropping the leftover dough here. First, scoop up this dough with a teaspoon or something and place it in several places. It’s okay if it’s just right. After placing it like this, now use a toothpick to marble it. I think it would be better if you could draw a figure of eight as you go along. It looks like this. If you want a little more whiteness, add more again and draw a figure eight in the same way. Be careful not to overdo it, because if you do too much, it will get mixed up this time. Now I will marble the rest in the same way. Marble the rest in the same way. So now going to steam this one in a pan. Easy recipes at home Now I will steam them in a pan. First, fill the pan with water about 1 cm from the bottom of the pan. Then put it on the heat. Bring the water to a boil once at this point. Water boiled. Once boiling, turn off heat. Be careful not to burn yourself as steam rises to the top when you turn off the heat. Now let’s line up the molds. Again, be careful not to burn yourself. When lined up like this, cover with lid. Then put it on the fire. The heat is low-medium. Continue steaming for 10 minutes. 10 minutes have passed. Then I turn off the fire. Then we open it. Open. Ta-da. This is how delicious marble steamed bread looks like. The bread is steamed to a very round shape. Now let’s take this one out of the pan. Be careful not to burn yourself. Removed from pan. I just took it out of the frying pan, but before you take it out, just check once with a bamboo skewer or something to see if any raw dough is sticking to it. If there is any raw dough on the surface, steam it again until it is done. Now I remove the dough from the mold. Again, it is hot, so be careful not to burn yourself. It’s done. As you can see, the result is beautifully marbled. The rest of the image is finished plump and round like this. It’s done. Easy recipes at home Cocoa steamed bread is now ready. When making the dough, be sure to mix well each time you add the ingredients. Mix immediately, especially after adding sugar. This is because if you add sugar and leave it to sit, the sugar will absorb the water from the eggs and may leave a grainy residue. So, when you add the sugar, mix quickly. And this time I made the cocoa steamed bread in a marble pattern. To make the marble pattern, you take about 2 tablespoons of plain dough and add cocoa powder to the rest of the dough. Then add the cocoa powder and a little bit of the plain cocoa powder, then use a toothpick to make a figure eight marble shape. But be careful not to overdo it, because if you use a toothpick too much at this point, the marble will become too thin. The only thing left to do is to steam them in a pan, but be careful not to burn yourself when steaming them in the pan, especially when you put the mold in the pan. As for the steaming time, it may vary depending on the size of the pan, so once steamed, check to see if any raw dough sticks to the pan by sticking a bamboo skewer into the pan. If raw dough sticks to the dough at this point, try steaming the dough for an additional 1-2 minutes. And about the sweetness, this time it’s a nice gentle sweetness. Please adjust the sweetness to your liking. It is good to eat it simply as it is, or it is good to eat it with cream on top. The ingredients are easy to find and very simple to make.
