another great video. i just wanna ask why do you devein the shrimp? does it taste unpleasant?
That's right.
There is the unpleasant taste :(
In some countries/cultures, they don't mind it not deveined (since it's still being cooked), but especially in larger shrimp/prawns, the contents can contain sand or other unpleasant textures and are more likely to affect overall taste.
