**Summary (from wiki)**
Slice of life drama of Kakei Shiro (Nishijima Hidetoshi), a lawyer who works for a small law firm, and his partner, Yabuki Kenji (Uchino Seiyo), a hairdresser.
「シロさん」こと筧史朗と「ケンジ」こと矢吹賢二の2人は、史朗の部屋で同棲するゲイ・カップルである。
ゲイであることを隠しながら弁護士として働く史朗は、慎ましいストイック気味の倹約家であるが、きりっとした男前の見掛けによらず優柔不断な一面も持っている。将来に備えた家計管理の一つとして2人分の食費を月2万5千円（後に3万円）に収める事を目標にしながらも、仕事は最小限に定時で切り上げてまで2人の食事をつくることに喜びを感じている。
片やゲイであることを隠しもせず美容師として働く賢二は、自分の「愛」に一途なロマンティストでありながら見た目に反して自分に厳しい一面も持っている。
そんな2人が、お互いの価値観の違いやゲイ・カップルである事ゆえの葛藤と向き合いながら、2人で一緒にいることの意味を確かめ合って絆を深める姿を「食」を通して紡ぐ物語。
