【49歳女のぼっち旅】和のドーミーインに閉じこもった夜|御宿野乃浅草

Hello! This is Ai from Midochare TV. Our setting for this episode is Asakusa, Tokyo, a traditional town that combines the charm of a downtown area with the bustling atmosphere of a tourist destination. Thousands of people walk the streets of Kaminarimon and Nakamise Street, and the fragrant aroma of osebei (rice crackers) and ningyo-yaki (dinglet cakes) draws you in. Today, I’m in Asakusa to stay at the Wa-no-Dormy Inn, a hotel I’ve been interested in for a while. I’m looking forward to enjoying a relaxing night in Asakusa. And so, the start of my journey. So, my accommodation for the night is the Natural Hot Spring Ryoun-no-Yu Onyado Nono Asakusa. That’s a long name, lol . It’s the longest I’ve heard since narrating a doctor’s title at a medical conference a long time ago. Just kidding. Room 702 is open. Yes, we’ve arrived at our room. Now , let’s start the room tour. First of all, as you enter the entrance, there’s a long hallway-like entrance. This room is a corner room. And there’s a full-length mirror. By the way, I’m wearing a Snidel dress today. A viewer left a comment saying that I sometimes try out different outfits, so I’m sharing a little bit of it ♡ It looks like this. Let’s go into the room. Oh, but first, I turned on the light. This is the sink. There are hangers and a small low table. Yes. Oh, so the loungewear isn’t yukata? I see. I assumed that since it’s a Japanese-style hotel, yukatas would be provided. Let’s go in. Yes. This is the overall atmosphere of the room. It’s lovely. There’s also a telephone and other things on the desk. There’s also a safe. I’m staying alone, but there’s a basket provided with bath towels and other items . Since it’s a tatami-floored hotel, there are no slippers, but socks are provided. It’s compact, but doesn’t feel cramped. Japanese-style rooms are really comforting. Let’s take a look at the view, too. I assumed there would be a wall view, so I was surprised! The view isn’t bad at all. Yes. This is the room from the window. Now, let’s take a look at the bathroom. Yes. It’s clean. It really exudes a Japanese atmosphere. Yes. There’s a shower room next to the restroom. Well, I probably won’t use it here since there’s a large public bath. Yes. Under the sink are amenities like plastic cups and brushes. Below that is a refrigerator. Yes, if you open the refrigerator, you’ll find water and a white peach jelly dessert. There are two, so it might be misleading again, but I’m here alone. And here’s an electric kettle…oh, and teacups. Good. They had coffee and tea. Yes, that was the room tour. From here, let’s take a look at the shared spaces. This is the large public bath on the first basement floor. It’s Ryoun no Yu. Speaking of Dormy, their after-bath service is a nice touch. They offer free ice cream in the evening. They don’t have any ice cream in the morning, so I’ll eat it the night before. Also on the first basement floor, there were vending machines and a health station. There’s also an ice maker. This is the first floor. There were vending machines and a microwave on the first floor, too. Yes, this is the breakfast area in the morning, and the space where you can eat yonaki soba (free ramen) in the evening. I think it was between check-in and the yonaki soba? This is a free space, and soft drinks are available for free. It’s nice that they have juice as well as coffee. After that, I headed to a convenience store to do some groceries. This time, I didn’t really wander around Asakusa. The reason is that when I filmed my previous Asakusa video, I thoroughly enjoyed Nakamise Street, so this time I thought I’d take my time and enjoy Dormy Inn. If you haven’t seen my previous Asakusa video, please take a look. Yes. After that, I went back from the convenience store, got some drinks for my nighttime stay-in, and then took the thumbnail photo. Finally, I did the pose I do in front of the camera in gym class. That’s a bit awkward. I don’t really get it. Sorry. Since I still hadn’t had anything to eat, I went out to get some. I still hadn’t decided exactly what I wanted to buy, but I did some quick research and decided I wanted to buy some yakitori. So I headed to Toriki, a takeout-only yakitori restaurant. It was almost closing time, so there wasn’t much left. Sorry, but there was already a line. Oh, I’ll just get one chicken thigh and one cartilage. It was pretty late, so they only had a few left, but this popular yakitori restaurant in Asakusa apparently has a line during the day. I was surprised to see they had kashira (chicken head). It was sold out that day, which was a bit disappointing. I’ve loved kashira since I was a kid. So, after buying a few skewers of yakitori, I headed to Iroha Uta, a monja restaurant just a few seconds’ walk from the hotel, hoping to get something extra. I decided to get some takeout here. Is this the takeout menu? Oh, and by the way, can I have this mentaiko cheese monja roll, please? Just one? Yes. It’s 600 yen. Oh, can I get draft beer too? Oh, okay, please. The total came to 1,300 yen. They said it would take about five minutes to grill the beer, so they brought out the draft beer first. Let’s toast. It’s nice to wait while drinking. It was a little cooler that night, perfect for beer. Personally, I think beer gardens are best enjoyed in autumn, not summer. It’s located just outside the hotel, to the right. The entrance looks small, but there’s seating on the second floor, and it actually seems spacious inside. Nice. I thought it looked like a pretty good place. It said takeout was available until 4 p.m., but I was able to buy some. This would be great for drinking in my room. Asakusa…sa…kage… asa… Asakusa Kagekijo? It was Asakusa Opera House. The alphabet was hard to read (is that a good excuse?). It was finished in about five minutes, and I decided to take this and head back to my room. Okay, I’m back. And so I headed home, sipping my draft beer. That said, it’s right next to the hotel, so it’s only about a 20-second walk. Oh, it’s delicious. I thought Dormy Inn would be perfect for a stay-at-home stay today, and I felt like it would be a waste to go out and drink, so I made this video. I was so happy to find a restaurant perfect for a stay-at-home stay right next to the hotel! ♪ This was great. I found it! ♪ The sign outside the restaurant said they were offering takeout until 4 PM, so I went inside the eat-in restaurant and asked, “Can I get something to take out?” They said the takeout menu was great , so I was happy. Plus, I can even enjoy draft beer while I’m staying at home! ♡ The best! ♪ I was holding the draft beer, so I actually wanted to buy a salad or something at the convenience store, but it would be difficult to carry the bag and I felt a little embarrassed to go into a convenience store with a beer in hand, so I just came back. But going outside again is a hassle, so no salad today! So, I’ll eat this while it’s still warm. Let’s eat! I’ll have the takeout monjayaki. Hmm. Yes. I feel like my blood sugar is skyrocketing. Right now. I thought it might taste a little more eggy, but it’s definitely wheat. It feels more like oyaki than monjayaki. It’s like mentaiko mayonnaise oyaki, something like that. Yes. So, next up is yakitori. Here you go. And since it was almost closing time, they said they only had what they had left, so I bought it. First, yagen cartilage, negima, and then chicken thigh. That one was salt. And yes. The regular yakitori also has sauce. I think everything else was sold out as far as sauce goes. I think they had some skin, but skin is high in fat, so I decided not to. Sorry. I wanted to taste it, so I’m already nibbling. This is cold now, so I think I’ll warm it up later. Right now, I want to stay here a little longer, or rather… I don’t want to move yet. A quick break. Yeah. Haa♡ I really, really want to eat a cucumber. But it’s a bit of a hassle to leave the room again. I’m short on vegetables today, but maybe I can try eating some tomorrow. Okay, so this is the first time I’ve opened a beer in my room today. What should I do? Should I just keep drinking like this, or should I put some in a plastic cup since I have this? Maybe if I put it in this, it’ll feel like draft beer, so I’ll give it a go. Wow, it’s full of foam. Well, I’ll have a draft beer today♪ Ah~♡ Delicious♡ I’m not that hungry today. Isn’t that unusual? Thank you. I received a comment that said, “A headband and beer are the perfect combination in the morning.” I just saw it. Thank you. That headband, I thought it was cute, so I bought it online. It’s a red headband. I’m wearing it in the McDonald’s video. Right, right. Because I thought it looked nice. My hair gets a little frizzy when it’s a little humid. Because it’s very strong. And I haven’t been to the salon in a while. I really don’t have time… I’m so busy right now, I’m really busy. So, while I wasn’t able to go to the salon, my hair has grown really long. This is actually my basic length. Before I knew it, my semi-long hair had become long. Until now, I kept it semi-long because I didn’t think long hair suited me, but recently, I’ve felt like long hair doesn’t look bad on me anymore. So I’m torn. Should I keep it this length, or should I cut it back to my collarbone, or should I cut it back to semi-long? That’s right. With semi-long hair, it looks like this. Which do you think is better? (After watching this video, I went to the salon and had my long hair cut and shaggy.) I originally thought long hair didn’t suit me. But my face has started to change. The main reason my face has changed is because I’ve been getting orthodontic treatment, which has slightly altered my bone structure. Do n’t you think my baby face has gone from a bit babyish to a more mature one? My bone structure has changed. My bite has also changed, so originally I had a deep bite, and my chin was really small. It was really tight. But now it’s like a normal person’s level, pushed forward a little…and when I say pushed forward, I don’t mean my chin is sticking out. It was too tight, but with orthodontic treatment, my chin is now more normal, so it’s a bit more normal. So, from the front, my face used to look really tight, but now it’s normal length, and I’m starting to look more mature lol. Also, I think I’m starting to look more masculine (lol). I feel like I’m going from a girl’s face to a man’s face. Then, long hair didn’t suit me before, but then I thought, hmm? Maybe long hair looks good, too? And that’s how I got to where I am now. That story ended up being a non-punchline. Okay. About 40 minutes have passed since then. So, I’ve already had another can of beer. I want a highball, so I’m going to go get some ice. So, what have I been doing in the meantime? Well, today is the day the video is uploaded, so I’ve been making sure the video is up and replying to everyone’s comments. Because I ‘m filming and editing, I can’t reply all at once, so I’ll reply over time. It’s been a little slow lately, so please bear with me. So, I’ve been warming up some yakitori. Highball time. Well, you’re tired today, huh? I just warmed up some yakitori. It’s around 9 PM, and it’s not exactly time to check in, but I bumped into an old man who’d just left. It’s the kind of elevator where you can’t press the buttons unless you swipe your card key, and I was on the 7th floor and he was on the 5th floor. He didn’t swipe his card, so he couldn’t press the button. Huh? He was having trouble, so I pressed my number for the 7th floor and then pressed the number for the 5th floor for him. And that’s all the uncle said. We chatted a bit, and it was cute how he acted tough and said, “You don’t have to press this during the day.” That’s a story without a punchline. Okay. So, I’ll start with the Yagen Cartilage. I was already a little drunk. Cartilage is delicious. Curl. Curl. I was just starting to get drunk when he started doing this mysterious behavior. I’ll have the Negima. Yeah. I’m eating while tipsy. Well, I was drunk, but the yakitori here was delicious. The saltiness was just right, and the meat was very juicy. It’s no wonder it’s a popular restaurant. Okay. It’s 10:30 PM now, so I’m going to go eat some Yonami Soba at Dormy Inn. Okay. It’s time, so I’ve come downstairs to eat the Yonami Soba I’ve been looking forward to. It’s served from 9:30 PM to 11 PM. Thank you. Since it was 30 minutes before closing time, the place was pretty empty. Let’s eat everyone’s favorite Yonaki Soba♡ . First, the soup. Mmhmm. This flavor, this flavor. It’s been a while. I’ll have the noodles too. They’re smooth and delicious. Dormy Inn’s Yonaki Soba is a light, soy sauce-based half-size ramen served free to guests. It’s a popular service perfect for a late-night snack. The basic flavor is the same nationwide, topped with bamboo shoots and seaweed. Apparently, it’s chicken broth with secret ingredients like garlic. I crave Yonaki Soba regularly. I’ll come back to eat it again. Thank you for the meal. Yes. The ramen was delicious. Even though I’ve come all the way to Dormy Inn, I haven’t taken a bath yet today. But I’m a little too drunk, so I’ll skip it for today. I’ll stay until tomorrow morning, or even twice tomorrow morning. When you come to a hot spring, you want to soak twice, don’t you? When I woke up and after eating a little. So I think I’ll hold off today. That comment is making people worry. Yeah. Yes. I opened it before I knew it. Well, I opened it~ Good work, high♪ ha ~♡ I just wanted to drink. The sake tasted especially good today. Wow, tatami mats are so relaxing♡ After the drink, I cooled down with some ice cream. Yeah. See you tomorrow. Good night. A sudden announcement of a day off. Good morning. It’s morning. Yes. It’s 6:09. I think I’ll get up. I read that the later the breakfast venue opens, the more crowded it gets, so I got up early. How’s the weather? It’s a bit cloudy. It doesn’t look like it’s raining. Yes. After that, I went to the large public bath, which I couldn’t use yesterday. Yes, there was a Yakult-style lactic acid bacteria drink. Thank you. Now, I’m heading to breakfast. I’m still a little sleepy [lol] but the tatami mats everywhere make me feel at ease. The breakfast venue is on the first floor, where we ate Yonaki Soba last night. Let’s take a look at the breakfast lineup. Hey, would you like some mushroom miso soup? Ah, please. And here’s the breakfast I brought. It’s a luxurious start to the morning. Let’s eat. This was the thing I was most looking forward to. I’ll also make sure to eat the vegetables I didn’t get to eat yesterday. The Chikuzenni had a gentle flavor. Surprisingly, I didn’t eat that much last night, which made breakfast taste even better. If you eat or drink too much, you sometimes don’t have much of an appetite in the morning. It’s no exaggeration to say that I came to Dormy because I wanted to eat this salmon roe. Well, some stores, or rather some hotels, don’t have salmon roe, but most seem to have it. By the way, I had a second helping of the salmon roe. Breakfast recharged me and it was a feast. It was delicious. Yes. I’ve just returned from breakfast. Well, about an hour has passed. Why so much time has passed is because I got a little sleepy and fell asleep. Yes. So, I just woke up. I’m checking out soon, so I’d like to summarize my impressions of this stay. Well, it’s Dormy, so there’s nothing else I can say about it; it’s amazing. I love it. Yes, I love Dormy. This was my first time staying at a Japanese Dormy in the Kanto region. The last time was in Nara. I’d like to stay again, but Japanese Dormy hotels in Tokyo, especially, are expensive. Today happened to be a reasonable day, so I found it by chance and booked it right away. I was lucky that it happened to be cheap. So, here are the prices this time. I think it was quite reasonable compared to other Nono hotels in Tokyo. Yes. I had no choice but to stay there, so I quickly booked. And, you know, in this hotel, or rather this room, you can hear screams. It’s like, ‘Kyaaa!’ But you can hear them not at night, but during the day. What I’m trying to say is that Hanayashiki is next door, and you can hear people riding the roller coasters. Are you scared? Not a ghost. And, since it’s right next to Hanayashiki, I thought I’d take a quick look around instead before heading home. So, there are a few more videos to watch, so please take a look. Yes, thank you for your help. Pecorino. Now, let’s return to our childhood and go to the amusement park together. The amusement park is about a one-minute walk from the hotel, and admission tickets cost 1,600 yen. In the center, there’s a small pond and bridge, and a god is enshrined. Hanayashiki alone… I guess I look lonely lol. It’s been a while since I’ve been to an amusement park, and I feel a bit alone. There’s a game corner here, like a festival, where the kids seemed to be having fun. I’m more interested in that. It looks delicious. Modern skewers. They also have yakisoba and takoyaki. I thought Hanayashiki would be a place for kids, but I found it to be more enjoyable for adults than I expected. While the rides may be mostly for kids, there were also a few that adults could enjoy. By the way, I’m not a fan of haunted houses, so I never go in them. So what’s great about it is that, even though it’s such a compact park, there’s a variety of food options, which I thought was fun. There were a lot of interesting shops. I was interested in this place, so I thought I’d stop in later during my break. Hanayashiki’s slightly retro atmosphere is actually quite stylish, and I think it would be a great place for adults to go on a date. That said, I haven’t been on a date to an amusement park in decades. Once you turn 40, you stop going on amusement park dates, don’t you? What about you guys? It usually ends up being the same old routine of eating dinner, watching a movie, etc. How about a date to Hanayashiki in Asakusa for once? Do you remember the DomDom Burger? I loved DomDom Burgers as a kid. So, we went back to the shop we were talking about earlier. I was curious about the Panda Car snacks. The shop was very spacious and cute. It was very cool and helped me cool down, since it was very hot that day. I bought this Panda Car Yaki for 170 yen. Let’s take a bite. It’s crispy and fluffy like a waffle, and filled with custard inside. It was delicious. I highly recommend it. In the end, we didn’t ride any of the rides at Hanayashiki, but we had a great time exploring the various options. Why not visit Hanayashiki, a romantic amusement park with a slightly retro feel that will remind you of your childhood? Thank you for watching until the end. 個人的にはセミロングのaiさんが最強です!!🤗

  17. Thank you for another entertaining video.

You looked so lovely when you entered the room.

So many of the rooms you show have such character! In the USA, the hotel rooms tend to be rather cold and sterile. Here in the USA they are so utilitarian and without amenities, and any character.

To have any amenities like you’ve shown, you would have to pay $500 or more.

You have to go to a premium hotel to get night clothes or bath robes and slippers.

    Your pose is absolutely beautiful!

Beer can be had any time of the year, however, I tend to like heavier beers in the autumn and winter.

Highballs can be had any time of the year. In fact, I’m having one with you right now. Kanpai!

You are so adorable that you are embarrassed over going back to the convenience store. This is from the viewpoint of one who is born and raised in the USA.

Your hair is always beautiful! It doesn’t matter if it is shorter or longer. Your hair frames your face very well. I only ask that you don’t do a “pixie” cut.

Think more about how your hair creates a frame around your face.

Top of your shoulders or longer frames your face in a sophisticated and flattering manner.

You definitely DO NOT look masculine!

That soba looks delicious! I only wish I could find a place that served that here in Florida!

Your breakfast also looks delicious! Here in the USA, included breakfasts at hotels are usually carbohydrates and little else.

Thank you again for another enjoyable trip!

    Much love,
    Donald
