Welcome to Taiwan! We only had two days in this incredible city, so we went on a mission to find the absolute best food in Taipei. From legendary traditional soy milk breakfasts to hidden back-alley gems and the best view of Taipei 101, this is 48 hours of non-stop eating!
Whether you’re looking for Michelin-recommended street food or a fun night out, we’ve got you covered with this Taipei travel guide. Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE for more delicious bites around the world! 🌍✈️
📍 WHERE WE ATE:
• Li-Ji Soy Milk : Starting the day right with traditional Taiwanese breakfast. 🍳
• Dadaocheng Luroufan: Deeply savory Braised Pork Rice in one of the city’s oldest districts. 🥩
• Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup: You can’t visit Taipei without a bowl of this! 🍜
• Lei Hou Fusion Food Dim Sum: Fresh, steaming, and authentic. 🥟
• Local Dumpling Spot: Finding the best handmade dumplings in the neighborhood.
• Back Alley Cold Noodles: A local secret for the perfect refreshing lunch. 🥢
• Hooters Taipei: Yes, you read that right—it has one of the most epic views of the Taipei 101 building in the entire city! 🏙️
🏨 WHERE WE STAYED:
MEANDER 1948
We stayed at Meander 1948, and it was the perfect base for this food tour. It’s a beautifully renovated historic building that’s super affordable and located right near Taipei Main Station and the Dadaocheng area.
• Pro Tip: It’s walking distance to some of the best braised pork rice in the city!

FYI – when you said the number "125" at 9:17 in the video. The tone for the number "5" should be low not high, more like "wu" full stop, instead of "wooo" with the pitch going up. The pronunciations for 1 and 2 are spot on though. Thanks for the video! Love Taipei.

Thank you. Marked for visit to Taiwan.
You almost ordered too much food for every meal. Hope you have a microwave to reheat the food in your motel.
Welcome to Taiwan
Good choice for the soybean milk shop, this is the local one, more traditional flavor than Fu-hang with the long line. It’s for tourists

Glad you enjoy the trip in Taiwan.
First time checking your channel, love how positive and adventurous you guys are!
And you're absolutely correct — soy milk + coagulant (acid) = tofu, that's exactly how tofu is made!
The moment when they try stinky tofu late at night at the night market really stood out to me. That single reaction says everything about how bold and unforgettable Taiwanese street food can be.
Keep it up! Wishing your channel great success and a bright future.
This is the first time I've heard of Taiwanese food. Aren't these all Chinese food?
We just decided to do Taipei next year and we’re so excited for the food!!! It all looks so good and you guys are making us so excited to go!!

We were just in Taipei! Just an underrated food city.
The proper term for the opposite of sweet is "savory", not "salty (for the soybean milk).
I m missing Taiwan sooooo much. and you guys made me soooo hungry. 😋
記得去台北故宮.. 記得住一晚 圓山大飯店!! 😀😀
