3 Days in Bangkok Thailand Vlog 🇹🇭 Best Chinatown Street Food, Cafes, Where to Stay in Bangkok

we weren’t expecting to visit thailand so soon but after an invitation from a thai hotel we decided stop over in bangkok on our way to europe to spend a few days exploring some of our favorite thai neighborhoods ASAI is a brand of hotels launched by Dusit International focused on authentic travel experiences in local neighborhoods for younger travelers the interiors feature large communal spaces like this thai restaurant and bar called jam jam and a beautiful courtyard that doubles as a co-working space complete with its own vinyl record player and meeting rooms that can be booked for work their self check-in counter is super convenient perfect for travelers on-the-go who want to go straight from checking in to exploring let’s check in here is our ASAI Chinatown hotel room tour a very cosy-looking bed situation the sheets are crisp and cool perfect for cooling off after a day exploring and, of course, a view of chinatown little desk area a bench an open dresser for storing your luggage and water to keep you hydrated let’s explore chinatown the moment you step out of the hotel you’re greeted by the classic sights and sounds of bangkok’s chinatown the yaowarat street food vendors are starting to setting up our first stop: a yaowarat street food classic this popular shop has been serving guay jab for over 60 years a peppery thai-chinese soup with rolled noodles topped with offal and a side of crispy pork belly ralph ordered the guay jub it’s a different kind of noodle love the soft textures playing off the crispy pork sam ordered the crispy pork belly with rice topped with a sweet gravy the skin is perfectly crisp and the meat is so juicy and flavorful a great first meal in bangkok quick stop at this chinatown dessert spot known for their creative take on local flavors hojicha gelato and cake with boba it’s always interesting to see thai street food stalls this one stuffs mochi dough with fruit and ice cream it’s always a pleasure walking around this part of chinatown with views of the chao praya river this little cafe caught our eye ‘don’t let the cat out, no matter what it tells you’ a cosy spot to cool off in the company of this 16-year-old cat a refreshing iced masala chai a thai massage is a must when we’re in bangkok iced butterfly pea tea post-massage mulberry tea ending our night back at yaowarat tip: the line at nai ek is always long at night better to go in the day time the exciting chaos of yaowarat road this chicken rice shop was recommended to us by the owner of billi’s so affordable for only 60 baht ($1.8 USD) nice, comforting bowl of chicken soup didn’t expect the chicken liver to be the star of the show the texture is deliciously creamy and it’s seasoned in a light soy sauce our tip: pick the boiled hainanese chicken instead of the fried one creamy liver good morning, chinatown today we’re using the ASAI Bangkok Chinatown guide chinatown is just huge sprawling there’s a lot of streets you can meander through and meander through chinatown we will their breakfast features very local thai dishes from thai tea and local herbal drinks to seasonal fruit with fish sauce dip and ralph’s favorite tom yum bangkok favorite back to the bustling energy of song wat this old school shopping street is filled with wholesale shops selling pearls and stones for jewelry making even hair accessories another chinatown landmark the oldest gold shop in chinatown our walk takes us back to the colorful signs of yaowarat full of local street food tiny pineapples ending the day at our hotel for dinner the concept of this one is like a silhouette we use pineapple, banana, orange we call this asai tea like a herb inside to make it more refreshing what a trip herb-forward i like how the leaf touched your nose lychee, lemongrass, rum daiquiri this is a signature drink: yaowarat road made from thai whiskey, campari, orange juice shrimp, kha i don’t know where to start everything looks so delicious Auriez-vous fait une Ecole de cinéma ou quelque chose dans ce genre ?
En tout cas régalez-nous encore de vos superbes vidéos et encore merci

    2. Love your videos❤. I’m happy that the hotel invited you. I hope you get more of that type of sponsor.

Sam's hairstyle is so cute !!!

    8. I've recently noticed how while I watch any of your videos, I have this constant placid smile on my face.. You both have a way of going about life that makes it feel lighter and calmer. So happy to see a new video!

Ps. I stayed really close to your Sathorn hotel and there is this amazing abandoned chinese cemetery very close by, Teochew Cemetery, that has been turned into a park. In there you'll find an outdoor gym, nice cafe.. and by far the best is the retired people hanging out in these smaller cabins just chilling while singing karaoke and feasting (they invited me to sing along "We are the World" while offering me fried pork and spicy mango 😂 best day)

    9. life is good when you can start a youtube video with 'we werent expecting to go to thailand, but after an invitation from a thai hotel…."
