hey guys thank you for tuning back into my channel my name is veldog and this is my kitchen where i’ll be teaching you how to make affordable restaurant quality foods or better from my home to your home guys stay tuned in and let’s get cooking okay guys today on the chopping block we got fish which you don’t see right now because it’s in the refrigerator getting cold it’s a fish um it’s a cod fish but today i’m gonna be making you a copycat covers fish sandwich and it’s going to be better than cobras okay now let me just show you the flour before i get the mess with stuff all right now right here i got some granulated garlic that’s quarter teaspoon i have a half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper i have a quarter teaspoon of um let me see if we gotta get up close there’s a quarter teaspoon of granulated onion and i got a quarter teaspoon of uh pink sea salt and i just wanted to show you that before i mix it up but i will leave a link right up in here so you guys go check that out i’m just going to mix this up i did put um a teaspoon of baking powder in it and i put a tablespoon and a half of um argo um cornstarch and i have some flour i put in there the self-rising flour that’s like a cup and a half of that in here now this is going to be like a beer batter all right so i want you guys to get discouraged on what i’m trying to do because i wanted to do just the regular one with uh with this carbonated water i’m gonna go with with this um moose head larger beer right here guys if you guys can see that [Music] that’s what that is i have not tasted it i hope it tastes good let me matter of fact let me taste it now so i know if it’s going to taste good isn’t it i never used this brand before [Music] bear with me i don’t want to cut my thumb up so let me taste that real quick okay don’t take too bad i think i can deal with that all right we’re just going to pour this in there nice and slow [Music] so [Music] need some more take your time with it you don’t want to have too much in there yes sir and please go check out that video when i made that homemade tartar sauce okay the world’s best tartar sauce needs more beer everybody end up using this whole bottle let me see if i get this wrong i should have had my little bowl or a bigger bowl or something but i didn’t do it i’m trying not to mess up too many more dishes but you guys can go ahead and do that if you want to [Music] stuff [Music] so we just want to get this at night consistency [Music] but we’re not done with this yet now some people uh flour the um fish i’m not gonna do all that because mine’s gonna be pretty thick now you can’t do that now [Music] they say help the sticks to the fish or whatever you’re trying to cook a little bit better [Music] which it does all right that’s about how we want that we’re gonna put some honey in there like a tablespoon of that i’ll take this one my honey we’re going to squeeze this with some lemon juice in there about that much a teaspoon [Music] remove this out the way [Music] so you guys can see how it’s looking and it will thicken up some more because i’m gonna put it in refrigerator and let it cool for about 15 minutes and we’re gonna get that fish let me let you guys see that now so here’s my fish i just been you know pet drying it you want as dry as possible guys okay so that’s the fish right there we’re working with [Music] all right [Music] and i’m gonna go ahead and put this in the refrigerator along with that fish and uh we’re gonna start putting this stuff together [Music] and don’t forget to get you some sharp cheddar cheese and some shredded lettuce all right and that completes your whole meal all right see you guys in a minute okay guys i’m back i’m just gonna go ahead and try to put this stuff together put in my batter like that fully submerged let’s drip throw it in there we’re gonna let this cook for about three to four minutes until it’s golden brown i’m on medium heat [Music] you don’t want to put too one seven because i gotta make a whole bunch of at least seven of them all right here’s my bun take your bun off and take your tartar sauce [Music] put that on there i like to put it on both sides [Music] all right i’m gonna take you to some lettuce a pinch of that put that on there take his cheeks [Music] i’m just telling you guys if i can do it you can do it too that’s what i’m here for i i always always make other people food because i like to save myself money you take the fish put it on there like so take this put it on there like that and there’s your fish thing just like so all   2. Mine did OK for the first try. It looked beautiful! I used the Perrier and some brand of beer I had in the fridge for making chili that isn’t a lager. Next time I’ll buy an actual lager. Overall, though, I like it. My husband liked it, which is what really counts! You do a really great tutorial, sir. Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

    👇
    2 cups All purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. Of Grantulated Onion Powder and Garlic
    1 tsp. Of Baking powder
    1 1/2 tbsp. Cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. Of pink sea salt
    1 tsp. Of Cayenne pepper
    7 Oz. Of Moosehead larger bear
    1 tbsp. of honey
    6 – 7 Of Cod fish cut in sandwich size
    6 – 7 Briash buns
    1/2 Lettuce chop find
    8 oz.. sharp cheddar cheese shredded fresh

    You can use Peanut oil or vegetable oil Cook On medium high heat cook fish for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes or golden Brown 👍
