explain to all of us commenters what shakta is and how you make a good batch so shut up is basically our version of chili paste the base of shatta is Chili Peppers so red chili peppers in our countries you usually find like long red chili peppers you need the long slim super bright red peppers and you basically Blitz it all together and you create it into this like little paste situation and then you add salt to it to kind of remove a little bit of that moisture from it so when you add the salt and when I say salt it’s quite a bit of salt and then you add to it tons of olive oil and white vinegar so it’s literally like a four ingredient product the beauty of it is the longer you let it sit in the olive oil and the vinegar and the salt like mixture the better it tastes
