This is my favorite way to enjoy the clams: just clams and ginger in a clear soup. It’s like the ocean in a bowl 😋
Salt 1 tsp
Ginger (julienned) 1″
Water 4 cups
Clams (cleaned and scrubbed) 1 1/2 lb
1. Clean the clams by scrubbing the outside and soaking them in salted water for 2 hours, see my previous video for details.
2. In a medium pot over medium heat, combine salt, ginger and water and bring to a boil.
3. Place the clams in the boiling water and cook until the clams are open, about 3 min. Remove from heat at once. Discard any unopened clams. Serve immediately✨
