Scooby-Doo and the Witches Ghost. We have covered Scooby-Doo, Scooby-Doo 2, Monsters Unleashed, and 
of course, Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. Aaron, how you feeling? I’m feeling good, man. 
Uh, we had a a nice shoot, Tara and I,   of a uh a beloved franchise of of Disney. And now 
I’m ready for some Scooby-Doo witchery. I think this is the one I may have uh inklings of as a 
child that I mentioned in the last video. So,   I’m excited to witness it and actually remember 
the plot and explore it in my full adult glory. Greg, how are you? I’m feeling good, man. I’m 
feeling good. I’m a little bit like wiry right   now. I’m very different than the last time. 
So, I’m excited to uh you know, be a part of the ziness of Scooby-Doo. This is my first time 
watching these animated movies or I’ve never seen   the cartoon show, so I’m a brand new person here.

natural history. Wow. This does look like those like Warner Brothers animated thing like 
Batman the animated series and [ __ ] that we   grew up on. Yeah, the music is also reminiscent 
of that as well. But I can definitely believe this is the same animation team. That’s how 
Aaron feeds me. Oh, jinkies. What y’all doing? Okay, Fred has black eyes now. What’s going 
on? He had blue eyes in the last movie. Got to be scuba shy [Music] there. No, there 
they are. Huh? Early man’s struggle for survival was a harsh one. Threats to his 
existence. That’s great. Fortunately, man had his greater intelligence to help 
him survive. It is with the use of tools that humans learn to overcome their I wonder how 
they make that sound effect. The the shivering professor behind you. That’s what he’s scared 
of. Oh, hello. They always have evil green eyes. [Music] Sometimes I feel like I’ve gas lit 
myself to believing I’ve seen something because I have no memory of this whatsoever. 
Nicely done. Yes, the trap works, Scoob. How’d you know they’d be there? Give me fourth. Hell

I still have not seen a hallway bit. Four Scooby movies deep. It’s still a no hallway.

that’s a real guy. It’s Perkins. Oh, no way. and Griswald, disgruntled archaeologists from the 
museum’s Babylonian project. Jim Gordon, they were upset with you for cutting their funding, 
Dr. Dean. And we would have gotten away with it,   too, if it wasn’t for this medddling writer. 
Subversion. Like, that’s a twist. Yeah. Well, at least he didn’t call us kids. I hate that. 
Guess you beat us to the punch, Mr. Ravencraftoft. Sorry, I didn’t mean to upstage you. Guy looks 
like Bruce Wayne. What were you doing here? I was doing research on my latest novel when I 
saw the archaeologists acting suspiciously and decided to investigate. Oh, I have read all 
your books, which in my opinion are the best horror stories ever written. Um, thanks Velma. 
You know her. You know my name. And Dafy’s and Fred’s and I feel like Velma’s a different voice 
actor than the last one. and Scooby and Shaggy, of course. I mean, basically, we’re in the same 
business of mystery and the occult, right? What we do pales in comparison with the sheer palpable 
fright of your novels. Really? Listen, Velma, I’m going back to my hometown in Massachusetts 
this weekend. You don’t hook up with fans. Why don’t you and your friends come visit? Really? 
Oh, that would be great, wouldn’t it, gang? We could use a break from all these spooky mysteries. 
Yeah, you’ll get that break. And Oak Haven does have one of the best restaurants in New England. 
Like, we’re sold as long as there’s food. She’s talking about all the dirty things she’s going to 
do to him. She’s going to write about him in her   fanfiction. Wow, this color is spectacular. Hey 
guys, amazing. Why don’t forget me, old buddy? Oh, disposable cameras. Would love to get one. Now, 
this is the kind of place I could vacation. Oh, this reminds me of Beetlejuice. And that 
scene at the end where the caretaker’s   flesh dissolved was so brilliant. I Oh, look.

It was. Wow. This is a pretty popular spot. Yes, it is a mystery. This is a circus. Oh, there’s the 
mayor. He’ll know what’s going on. Yes. We don’t trust him for a second. He’ll know a place to eat. 
Priorities, y’all. Welcome to Old Oak Haven. Have a wonderful time. So glad you could come. Mayor. 
Mayor Cy. He is fraying on these people’s wallets. I’m glad you could come home to see this. And I 
see you brought some friends and their dog. Raw. Rare. But what is all this? It’s great, isn’t 
it? Business is booming. Not like a few months ago when it was slower than maple syrup on a cold 
day. No, you’re doing something deceitful. Here, have a t-shirt before my store sells out. You 
can wear it to the concert tomorrow. Concert?   The Hex Girls? You’ve heard of them, Fred, just 
now. Oak Haven Autumn Fest. Ah, yes. Hex Girls featuring the Hex Girls. A local group. You’ll 
like them. Kind of spooky. Spooky. Looks like there’s a ghost in your own backyard, Ben. Not 
only that, but it’s his own ancestor, the ghost of Sarah Ravencraftoft. That’s ridiculous. I agree. I 
thought we’d gotten past all this witch nonsense. Ever since we built our Puritan village, her ghost 
has appeared many times. I miss when people used to talk like him. I’m sorry. So, I miss when 
people used to talk like him. And now she’s haunting the town. How did you know? How did 
you know? Ghost hunting’s our specialty. Did you say Puritan Village? Oh, that’s not good. 
Mom, I see a bunch of religious zealots here. Oh, corn husk dolls. Aren’t they cute, Fred? No, 
no, no. And look, Scoob. I’ve been a bad boy. No. They suck you into the playfulness 
and the wonder. [Music] Wow, look at that dog. Dog turning 
butter. Oh yeah. Get it, SC. Now all we need is the popcorn. It’d be so 
pissed. Sarah Ravencraftoft was a medicine woman who practiced natural healing and was 
unfairly accused because of her eccentric   ways. Just like the Salem witch trials. Many 
men and women who were a bit different or didn’t conform to the codes of the colony 
suffered the same fate. No, they were real   witches. They’re just women who want who owned 
land and they didn’t like it. Rolly. [Music] Nice trick. Leave it the beaver. [Music] It’s bad way to get hurt. Like what you got there, 
old buddy? I don’t know. Wonder what this is. Old belt buckle. Looks like you found an old shoe 
buckle, my boy. Probably over 400 years old. Nah, it’s a plant. Set up, man. Like, look for another 
one, Scoob. So, I can have a matching pair. Okay, do it. You know how long I’ve been searching 
for Sarah’s journal to officially clear our family name? I like the voice actor here. What 
makes you think it’s Sarah’s ghost haunting this   place? Because the ghost said so. Maybe you’ll see 
her tonight. Oh boy. We got the best restaurant in all New England. It’s back in town. I’ll walk 
you there. Do you kids want to go or would you like to see my studio? Wow. Would we ever? 
Would you like to indulge in me some more? She’s so smitten. Tell Jack that anything they 
order is on me. Like what a great guy. run up his tab. Max out his cards. You’re going to regret 
that offer, Ben. I don’t know. He’s acting aloof, but maybe he was in on this and he knew about this 
happening. He’s the whole reason they’re there in   the first place. Enjoy your stay at Oak Haven.

I have to figure out this mystery. You’re Mr. Ravencraftoft’s guest. So order up anything on the 
menu, boys. Oh, you’re going to regret that. We’ll have whatever that great smell is. Well, that’s 
our Yankee pot roast, New England clam chowder, maple baked ham and beans. All of that is that 
smell. Sounds great. Like, give us two orders of everything. Oh, I love people who love to 
eat. Well, that’s them. It’s a requisite beat. I’m sure the writers for these movies are always 
like, “Okay, I know what to do. Just have them   eat everything.” Now, I spend most of my time in 
Europe, but I come back once a year to recharge my batteries. Go ahead, Velma. Sit down. Comes back 
once a year. I think this is part of his ploy. But why did he bring them there? Why did he really 
bring them there? This is Sarah Ravencraftoft. I think it was painted by a grateful patient. Of 
course, she wasn’t very popular with the town’s   doctors. Sarah was untraditional in her approach 
to medicine. She was a Wiccan. Ah, wiccans were people who were in tune with the forces of nature 
and used them for healing purposes. This is pro-wick. Sarah helped many people who could not 
afford medical treatment. Down the witch’s road. Down the witch’s road. She treated her patients 
under a large oak tree which she believed to have healing powers. Agatha is right around the corner. 
Yeah, exactly. Wiccans have been misunderstood, accused of sorcery. In fact, the word witch 
comes from Wikah. I’m impressed, Valma. You know, doing research on Sarah and the Wiccans led me 
to read almost everything about the world of   superstition. You haven’t read almost everything. 
That was too much of how much I devoured. Oh my god. Gosh, they do have a great digestive 
system. Right through the middle is crazy. [Laughter] Gluttony is a sin. Yeah. You regret that, huh? You’re You’re 
I’ve never seen anything like this. Are you at least tasting my food? Like it’s 
the best food we’ve ever had. Reicious. At least Scooby’s letting him eat this time. 
Yeah, it’s true. Yeah, Scooby’s a lot nicer. Homie, I watched Human Centipede 
right in this room. This is nothing. So, how’s the food? Pretty darn good. Is there 
anything left in the kitchen? I’ll be right back, boys. Where do you guys put it all, though? 
It’s getting dark, guys. Let’s go see if that   ghost is going to make an appearance. Like we’d 
love to, but we haven’t had our dessert yet. Use a ladle on his head. Like if the ghost gets 
there first, just start screaming without us. I don’t know what’s more impressive, the fact 
that they ate all that food or the fact they   have none on their bodies. Those are extremely 
clean bibs. That is a very good point. I mean, they’re pretty good at that. Then they’ll be 
skinny in the next scene. Just kind of inhale it,   right? Come on. We’ve been waiting here an hour. 
The ghost is a no-show. Maybe she’ll show up at the concert tomorrow. The one black guy in the 
time is right. I didn’t notice he was black. The one black guy in the town is speaking truth. Well, 
we should all leave, too. Let’s give it a chance, Ben. Yeah, it’s probably a hokey bed sheet on 
a wire or something. This could be funny. Okay. Either they’re trying to have you think 
it’s him, but it’s not him. Oh my god,   they’re not skinny. Especially those last 12 
pies. Oh my god. Glad you liked them. Wow. I like how they’re actually not 
skinny. It’s funny. With no one here,   this place is almost spooky. 
Scoob, it’s very spooky. Hex girls. Yeah. Oh, damn. 
There’s like Charlie’s angels. Nicely done. Nicely done. Like, hi, 
girls. Oh, [Applause] [Music] vampires. And I thought there was only one 
ghost witch. With all that running, we worked off that big meal. Now I’m hungry again. 
Roo. He that like a supernatural power. Yeah. Okay. This town shall pay for what you did to 
me. Where would the strings be? Whoa. Not roast. A ghost that can shoot fireballs. 
Witch’s roast. You saw the witch’s ghost? Wow. Not bad. Can you show us where? 
Like, do we have to? She throws fireballs, man. Can you at least get off me 
first, Freddy? Gee, sorry, Daff down this street. There’s no one here now. Honestly, this this 
movie is playing way more to the sensibilities I prefer. We thought we’d gotten away from the 
first three witches when this ghost chased us from down there. You said she threw fireballs, 
right? Oh, but it’s not real fibers. This Velma, but a thousand times worse. Is this 
the street she chased you down? Like,   don’t remind us. Hey, check out these 
branches. They were all broken from the tops of these trees and in a perfectly 
straight line. It’s definitely fake. [Music] Rookie out again. What is that? Let’s 
go see. Okay, I got 40 minutes to figure this out before they tell me. Yeah, everyone 
said zombie island is their favorite, but truth be told, this is like way more of 
my jam. Oh, this one’s fun. Hit it, sisters. Yeah, it’s the witches. 
It’s just an outfit. Girls, Freddy’s like their number one fan. 
He’s the only one that knows. Oh. Okay. [Music] Oh, nostalgia. I remember this. Put a spell on 
you. It’s a good song. [Music] put a spell on you. Oh, now 
they’re jamming with it. Both of these movies have good 
original songs, right? [Music] Fred is is sprung. [Music] Nice. That was 
impressive. That was a good song. Very good. Very good. Very good. What are you doing here? 
The concert’s tomorrow. But you’re waking up   the neighbors. Wait a minute. Aren’t you Ben 
Ravencraftoft? Get away from my man. You’re not going to bite me, are you? Cool. I’ve always 
wanted to meet you. You’re like one of us. Yeah, you understand what we’re into. You 
horror freaks. Elmo’s not ghost. That’s quite an act. Miss uh Thorne, this is Dusk 
and Luna. We’re Egoths. Egoths. Gee, all those explosions at the end were pretty mystifying. 
That they were. We’re close to cutting our first   CD. Well, it’s been killer meeting you. Same 
here. But we got to get back to our rehearsal. Maybe she’s not into him. [ __ ] She got a 
little jelly. Man, those hex girls seem kind of suspicious. Daff and I should keep an eye 
on him. Gee, why is it that you always pair off with Daphne Fred? Well, never mind. It’s a 
good idea. We all know. Reject Nation. I have marketing ploy, right? To attract people to come 
here. What are all these tire tracks doing back   here? Strange. The roads back there. Let’s see 
where these tracks lead. I feel like it is real. Jinkies, it’s the mayor. That it is. We’re 
going to find out what’s in that barn. Scooby and Shaggy will follow the mayor.

should be the leader instead of Fred. She’s   the most competent. Okay. Mayor’s an obvious 
suspect. Who is a not obvious suspect? I mean, doesn’t have to just be one person. Has 
to be a couple people. Nice. [Music] There’s got to be another way in here. Wow, she 
like neoed him over. Uh, see you in the morning. Bad dreams, sisters. Bad dreams, sister Thorne. 
So, are they Wiccans? Oh, Thorne seems like the leader. Let’s follow her. Are you sure you’re not 
just stuck on Thor, Freddy? Yeah, I know. This guy’s like perpetually a teenager. He’s constantly 
hormonal. That’s great. Wonderful. I’m in. Belma, are you okay? Fine. He’s a gentleman. He 
didn’t look up. This mayor’s one busy guy. Okay, Willard, you take it easy now. How is this 
hardware store open at this hour? Young love. Oh god, they are amazing hiders. Awesome. 
It’s still warm, Ben. But who would be driving it this late at night? That’s 
the mystery. It’s what I get off on. Wow, it’s just like out of X-Men. Wow, you 
guys are following remarkably close. Oh, think you’re right. She might be awaken. 
She’s praying. She’s doing her ritual. Doesn’t mean it’s something supernatural. Just 
going to be a spiritual belief thing.   They had fangs, so I was like, 
maybe they’re witches and vampires. Huh? Cool. [Music] What are you doing, 
man? You’re being mad sus. I know. This mayor is like super busy tonight. Like 
he won’t ditch us that easily, Scoob. No, he’s luring you in there, man. Like, where 
do you think he went, Scoob? I don’t know. How dare you disturb my resting place? Is he the 
witch? [Music] Leave us alone. [Music] [Applause] Oh, cool. Okay. [ __ ] Now he’s there. Damn it.

what’s going on? Ask Scooby and Shaggy. Where are they? That’s no mystery. Sometimes Fred looks like 
a creepy doll. The mayor’s one busy guy picking things up and dropping things off like what? What 
is going on here? He almost looks like John Mlany. I’m worried that staying in Oak Haven might just 
be too frightening an experience for them. I think we should leave. Huh? That’s a ruse. Deception. 
I need to get one more clue before the night is over. Oh, great. I’ll do anything I can to help. 
He doesn’t want to get rid of the witch. No. No. The witch is driving up sales here. Give some 
money. Sh. The town’s going a float. It’s the only thing keeping business alive. Here’s what we’re 
going to do. Fred, you’re going to go with Fred, you’re going to go with Daphne. Scoo, you’re 
going to go with Shaggy. A That’s cool. Tails. I don’t think the Hex Turtles would 
appreciate this. Thanks for coming,   girls. We only came because Ben asked us to. Hey, 
I’m just following orders. Or you’re giving orders secretly. Could this be a wind machine? What? 
Could be a wind machine. Possible. Drones. The town must pay for its foul deed. She’s a 
hologram with drone technology. The mayor dropped a box off through that old woman. I 
bet there was like fireball and that kind of Oh, got her ass. Physical. Physical. You did it, 
guys. It’s the black man. Let’s see who’s behind all this. Damn it. It was that guy from earlier. 
Mr. Mcnite, the pharmacist. Daddy. I’m furious. Hello, Sally. I don’t know why that’s funny. Your 
dad’s the ghost. It’s Bill Nye. This is a device to throw the fireballs, which are just wads of 
flash paper. He got it from his daughter’s stage props. But how do you I don’t know. It’s the 
cherry picker that made the ghost fly above the trees with the use of an extension device. And 
there is the fan that created the eerie wind. I mean, it’s a skill to be able to fly with it. 
It took more than one person to pull off this   scam. Isn’t that right, Jack? Do Oh, it would take 
someone pretty strong to hoist Mr. Mcnite around. But we still have more time in this movie, which 
says it’s not all done yet. That goes for all of you. All of you? Sure. There had to be more 
people involved to make this hoax work. Oh, it’s the whole town. I’m very disappointed in you, 
mayor, and all of you for lining your pockets by dragging Sarah Ravencraftoft’s name through 
the mud. Wow. Boo. So, she was a real Wiccan. That’s right. Oh, so cool. Oh, yeah. I think I owe 
you girls an apology for thinking you were well uh witches. We saw you perform some kind 
of ritual in your shed and it didn’t look Christian. It’s just a gimmick for our band. 
We’re eco goths. Kind of like Wiccans. Just ask Thor. She is one. She’s got a batter ring. 
But what about your fangs? My dad’s a dentist. He outfitted the band. You guys should really 
get sleep before you perform. Get your rest. Wait. The dentures fit in Scooch. [Music] 
The fangs are more vampires than they are. I feel real bad about everything and I wanted to 
apologize for using your ancestor in our little publicity stunt. Sue him. Trade was so slow. 
We were desperate. Right. And and you once told me that supernatural phenomena always attracts 
people. Yeah. It’s your fault. We accidentally dug up her grave. What grave? Uh-oh. What? 
It was her grave marker. But that’s all we found. No bones. No book. Nothing but that grave 
marker. No book. Shaggy, do you still have that little shoe buckle Scooby found today? Like this 
one here. Oh, is that the class under the book? Cool. Scooby, can you show me exactly where 
you found this? Well, I wait so Oh my god, that’s brilliant. I suck at this game. I 
then they they’re good at making them. It’s the reason why they’ve been so profitable or 
lasted all these times. [Music] Isn’t making good use of him being a dog. They always found a 
way to make Scooby essential. What did you find? Oh, there’s a hole in it, though. Ben, are you 
okay? Just a little excited. Uh-oh. He’s the villain the whole time, wasn’t he? Necronomicon. 
Looks kind of evil to belong to a Wiccan healer. Oh, that doesn’t seem to be a journal at all. 
Because it isn’t, Belma. It’s a smell book. It is a witch. They are witches. You see, Sarah 
wasn’t a Wiccan. She was indeed a witch. A real witch. Heavy, huh? I guess that makes me 
a warlock. The Wiccans imprisoned Sarah in her own spell book. Not a wizard. Okay, I don’t know 
what a warlock is. I’ve been searching for years. Then I read about your exploits. I knew if anyone 
could help me find the book I did. I orchestrated the whole mummy scheme, paying off the I did say 
they orchestrated everything just to lure you to the museum. Meat. Now granted, I did not know he 
orchestrated that. I tricked you into helping me. Oh, dang. He didn’t understand any of the town 
[ __ ] And you were in on Ben’s plan, too. Oh,   yeah. Never mind. I ain’t got [ __ ] to do with 
this. That stupid fake ghost was the town’s idea, but it did work to my advantage. I love when the 
twist reveals his voice automatically turns evil. Yeah. No mere mortal can. You’ve been reading 
too many of your own horror stories, Ravencraft. Supernatural stuff isn’t real. I shall unlock the 
power of the imprisoned Sarah Ravencraft. Like, I don’t like the sound of this. Let’s see if you 
can pull it off. Together we shall reign supreme. Wild the evil from the past. Oh, this movie lets 
you have both. Let’s going to have the Scooby-Doo mystery that’s not real and have the supernatural. 
Yeah. Two for one special, baby. Finished power. Whoa. Stop him. The party’s just beginning. How does she know how to use all these powers? 
Wow, that’s cruel. It’s in his blood. Daddy. Oh, do something. Hex girls, stop him. Hey, can I 
spin a yard or what? No, guys, grab the bug. Got to go. You guys were almost 
essential to the mission. You   guys are almost got him like the 
heroes got Thanos in Infinity War. Ring of Fire. You won’t get away with this. 
Why? Because of you meddling kids. Hey, we’re not kids. That’s what he hates being called. Hear 
my cry. Bring back one who cannot die. But how do you bring her back if she can’t die? Are we ever 
glad to see you? You always underestimate them. Nice going, guys. Like, we’re going all right 
away from Witchville. Uh, you can’t just leave these people here. We got to go back for the book. 
Book? Can’t we just wait for the movie? [Music] Yeah. Okay. All right. Oh, no. Oh, he still has powers though. Oh,   snap. I think I’m starting to get the 
hang of this. Oh god. Oh god. Oh sheesh. [Music] Well, you could

they really went all in for this last finale part. [Music] Oh, wow. Cool. This is an 
amazing finale. It’s an awesome design, too. Who art thou? Ben Ravencraftoft. Your 
descendant from the modern world. Modern? Not much. seems to have changed. Yeah. 
What the hell is that thing? But Sarah, I want to become more powerful like you.

Have you seen Rocky Core Picture Show? I have not, but I have seen the original it. Oh, yeah. He’s

first going to give our quick thoughts. But first, if we do the first thing, we’re going to firstly

right. And also, uh, Prepper, the turnaround and, uh, seriously, actually, the real hustle you 
guys have been doing lately has been keeping   this channel alive. Thank you so much for

killing it. Thank you so much. Um Aaron, I’ll toss the question to you first. The cue to you. 
What are your uh first thoughts here, buddy? It was a lot of fun. I really dug this one. Had the 
Halloween vibe. I felt like even though obviously there’s like an element of of horror, spook, and 
mystery to all of these, I think this one really   had the spirit of Halloween to it, going to the 
the Salem witch sort of vibe. And then the finale was extremely fun and yeah, a surprising turn 
and was real spooky and real witchy like like, oh, you want some witch? Boom. Oops, all witch. 
And it was very satisfying to watch. And yeah, you know, the Scooby gang is great as usual. We 
love some Shaggy, love some Scooby getting into some nan shenanigans, Shaggy eating some 
dog food, them eating a lot of human food,   and them usually being the ones that are the 
first ones to discover the thing that is spooky, and then um Velma doing some stuff and then, 
you know, Fred and Daphany are there and yeah, they’re they’re part of the crew. But yeah, I 
I really enjoyed it and I’m happy that we’re doing these. What do you think, dude? I’m gonna 
preview the question super quick so that way I don’t say anything that’s not in this guy. Always 
checking his phone on camera. Most unprofessional man we know here. Sure. Emergency. All right, 
let’s I want to just make sure I’m not gonna answer say something that would possibly 
give it Yeah, I think I should just wait to say what I want to say. Um, I enjoyed this 
one a lot. I like this one a lot, honestly. Uh, I I this is just more my sensibility personally 
of, you know, witches, Wiccan, all that stuff. I’ve always been very much gravitated towards it. 
like zombies I I mean I absolutely adore but like the vibe of small town pilgrimage and all that you 
know it’s just a thing I’m gravitated to Salem’s um Salem witch trials the the the I thought 
the I I I thought the characterization of uh especially Ben Ravencraftoft was really good 
like he was a full-fledged character and like very very charming and the twist reveal I I thought 
was great. I like how this movie gives you the   best of both worlds. It gives you both the the 
the traditional Scooby-Doo twist. Um, you know, pull off the mask. Trying to figure out who that 
is. When that guy first showed up with the shirt,   I was suspecting, but I was like, you suspected 
everybody cuz you know, here’s what I noticed. There’s usually a couple of people and usually one 
of the people is only there for like a little tiny bit. That’s what they That’s what they usually 
They’re only there for a little bit. You’re   locking on the formula. I’m trying to figure out 
if there is a formula. Yeah. Okay. But so you feel like you you got on the money this time. Yeah. I 
did suspect anyone they uh zoomed in on anyone who got a closeup that wasn’t part of the Scooby gang. 
I’m like maybe that is the way my brain operated for that one for sure. Very fair. Um yeah. Uh I 
I the the animation I feel like is an improvement over the last one too. It really looked like the 
WB animation from watching like the Superman show and the Batman the Animated series. The movement 
on them, the detail, and the more the movie went,   the more vivid it actually got. I wasn’t expecting 
this like Halloween vibe. The Halloween vibe was really great. I I loved Scooby and Shaggy here. 
Like, they were so much more essential and uh like you purposefully essential. I prefer Scooby when 
he’s actually kind of nice instead of a bully. No, we need we need them to actually feel like 
friends. Yeah, they actually felt like real   friends whereas like Scooby’s kind of a bully in 
the last one. Yeah. Stealing food. Boo. Boo Scooby from Zombie Island. Um Velma’s uh the interaction 
that’s really sad and I started to like link it to Scooby-Doo too for her. Yeah. With ah she’s the 
one who gots close to the main guy and you know then they even though Seth Green wasn’t bad in 
that movie the the way they like mess with that   for her like that’s a really sad thing that she 
went through because it’s like she’s a massive admirer. Um, the ghost was uh like the not the the 
real ghost, the real ghost uh was uh spooky and very uh there was something very nostalgic about 
her portrayal. I do wish uh Fred and Daphne did something more in these. I I think they’re very 
like uh they’re just there. I don’t know what’s like distinct about them. Obviously, they’re 
massive part of the Scooby Scooby-Doo staple,   but yeah, I want them to have more involvement. It 
makes them more distinct other than being the two hot ones that are like a couple. Yeah, that’s 
true. Oh, and the Hex Girls. They were great.   Amazing. My favorite part. They like both these 
movies have had original songs and they’re great original songs and they feel very different and 
I like I like the look of them a lot. Um yeah, this movie had me like I actively went into this 
one like I’m going to figure it out, but it really   had my the gears turning and I I thought it was an 
incredibly enjoyable animated movie. Yeah. Yeah. I had a great time with it. I think we should go 
through some of these questions. Let’s get it. Patricia Korea. We’re just going to go in order 
here. My favorite of these Scooby-Doo titles. I’m a Hex Girl is a staple for many. What’s some of 
your favorite songs by fictional bands or artists as a kid or adult? What? Fictional bands? I got 
one. It’s uh Chef Skylark, Shiny Teeth in Me from Fairly Odd Parents. I don’t know that. It’s um 
it’s like one of the I think one of the Backstreet   Boys played a character on that show and he made a 
song about having like shiny teeth. My shiny teeth in me. Shiny teeth. Shiny teeth. So that’s the 
first thing that came to my mind that question.   Thank you for the question. Also, Patricia, this 
movie got me really in the mood for down I was just shouted out down the witches road. I remember 
when I saw that in heard that in Agatha all along,   I questioned if it was a real song and I found 
myself, especially after the final episode, I would like listen to the different versions when 
I was like working out and because they had like   the rock version and they had the one that’s uh 
you know just um a Kathern Hans voice people come because they did three different renditions of 
that and I I really really loved all three of   them. So yeah, that was a really cool one to me. 
Also, Sweet Victory from Spongebob. Also a classic staple for my childhood. Love to hear it here. Kev 
B, what did you think of Ben at the beginning? Did he seem trustworthy or suspicious? I suspected 
him right away. He was too suspected him because in the last one, the person who brought them 
in and invited them to the thing was the person   who was actually the bad guy. So, I’m like, hm, 
clearly she’s into this guy. We saw in Scoo Dude, too. She doesn’t usually end up with the gun. 
Well, I guess she kind of did with Seth with   Seth Green, but um yeah, I was like, this seems 
too good to be true. But I didn’t expect him to wholly turn into a warlock and then raise 
the dead of his ancestor. That was unexpect unexpected. But I think him being the bad guy 
was definitely something I saw. Yeah. See, I like that cuz they they even did a flashback of 
her normal to really throw you for a loop. Like,   oh, oh, she’s like a benevolent Wiccan person, 
tempted healer kind of individual. I thought that was really smart to like really throw you off the 
trail. Yeah. And then you do a little twisty poo   and then, oh my god, they’re both bad. And then he 
got what he deserved at the end because he don’t trigger girl Velma. I do love the twist of of that 
was his ultimate plan and like ah how dare you try to paint her in this light. I thought that was so 
smart. Yeah. Isana Gesler, how did you guys find Tim Curry in the co-lead villain role and did you 
find these versions of the animated films? Haven’t   seen Cyberchase yet. Were a huge inspiration for 
James Gun’s live action version of Scooby-Doo. I have definitely I mean I can’t sit here and go oh 
man no it’s like really a hodgepodge of all the show there’s no way I can say that because I never 
seen it but I do see um I every but both movies I I find myself consistently flashing to the live 
action version because I’m watching these in the   weirdest order and so yeah I mean I definitely see 
it I don’t know if it’s directly influenced but I I really like uh this one in particular 
kind of reminded me a little bit more of   um Scooby-Doo 2 I was saying yeah with her having 
the love interest but a little bit more stuff going on there. But yeah, I think uh Tim Curry was 
great. His voice and the way he was able to change it when he’s finally bad. I thought that stuff was 
really good. But yeah, I could see the inspiration especially watching them in the I guess incorrect 
order and see how these definitely were inspiring what what James Gun did because yeah, you see 
the the tonal and character consistencies between both the live action anime iterations. So yeah, 
makes me appreciate James Gun’s movies more in retrospect. And even with Tim Curry, when I said 
I liked his voice, it really felt like an actor   was trying to get something real in the voice. And 
that’s why I liked it because it wasn’t like this fully committed accent. Yeah. It was like as if it 
was sort of fading like midfading, you know, like always because he travels between like England and 
America. So it wasn’t like a full English accent, right? It would like dip in and out. Uh and 
and I was like this is really like I don’t you wouldn’t actually hear that in animation. Usually 
they just go like all in on the on the accent,   right? Make it exaggerated. Yeah. But it’s like 
there’s a detention to detail when I when I that’s when I had that thought. So yeah, and it 
compliments it and it makes the whole that’s the   thing is it feels like a real character like a 
three-dimensional character. I was really really impressed by that. Any plans on doing some 
of the DC Scooby-Doo movies in the future? What? There’s like DC Scooby-Doo movies. Yeah, 
I know. Oh, I don’t know about a ton of them,   but I do remember like when they had the animated 
Batman show from like the 60s or 70s. They had a crossover with Scooby-Doo. What? Yeah, that sounds 
fun. Maybe. Yeah, maybe. Thanks for letting us know. That sounds fun. I’ll keep that in mind. 
Punk, Zombie Island, and Witches Ghost are the two I remember seeing most as a kid. Cyberchase was 
great, too, but I did not own it. question. You guys have now watched a few different Scooby-Doo 
tiles. So, my question is Greg, that’s me. That’s   you watching these now. Would you have preferred 
to have seen these growing up or do you feel like you’re having an even better time as an adult 
experiencing them for the first time? I’ll go   first. Um, I have been I mean I I love that I 
get to do this now and share them with you guys and get to have it in this weird order, but I did 
feel like I was missing out on something growing up because it’s such a big part of cultural 
osmosis and pop culture and every kid knows Scooby-Doo but me, you know, like I just did not 
know Scooby-Doo. So to have I did I did like wish I I grew up with it. Um but it is kind of cool to 
get it from this like observant point of view and   to do something with the channel. So I don’t have 
like a regret. Would I have preferred? I would have preferred. Yeah because I I would have loved 
the experience of seeing all this and and it would have had that nostalgic charm. But Aaron, reverse 
question. Would you rather have this be your first viewings of all the Scooby-Doo or are you glad 
this was part of your childhood? I think I’m it   was I’m glad it was part of my childhood. Um yeah, 
I’m definitely glad it was part of my childhood because I have a a reference for it. It feels in a 
sense feels like home because I I watched the the show growing up. So I’m I’m familiar with some of 
the the idiosyncrasies of the characters and sort   of the the formula of how these stories unfold. 
But seeing these with fresh eyes in an adult, as an adult, I get the appreciation of watching these 
stories, but also having that home feeling because there’s an air comfortability with watching 
both the live action and the animated ones.   So true. Cody Enos, which Hex girl do you aspire 
to be when you grow up? Uh, the center redhead girl because she was the only one who was a real 
character out of the three. Yeah, I like the one with the green hair. She’s They’re all cute. The 
uh the They’re all cool. And witchy the um Yeah, they’re what? Eco Eco Goth. I’ve never heard 
of that before. That’s what eco goths are. Let   us know in the comments. They sound like they’re 
environmentally friendly gothdriven like Wiccans, but we don’t really see that. Like you don’t 
often associate like the environmentalist side of of loving Earth. It could also be a really 
nature and spiritual with like a dark goth sense. You never associate with that. So I think that’s 
what they’re saying. Okay, I get it. Yeah. Yeah, I think I think either the green one or the red 
one. I’ll say green because he said red. Yeah,   the red one just look out of like the X-Men 
cartoon. Um, see that? Thomas Dy, did this movie do a better job exploring the characters? 
Also, which story do you prefer between witches,   Ghost, and Zombie Island? Yeah. Uh, I’ll just 
say it. I thought this one I would say this one is my second favorite out of all we watched. I 
would still put the first Scooby-Doo live action um for me, but out of all them, I would put 
this uh at number two above Scooby-Doo, too. And I would still put Zombie Island last, which I 
know is kind of like a sin for people listen to, but I really did. Uh I I like this one a lot. 
I did. Yeah. I would say Monsters Unleashed, this one, live action, Scooby-Doo, Zombie Island. 
Zombie Island would be bottom for you, too. Yeah. Yeah. I’m I I like this one a lot. this I you 
like them more than the first Scooby-Doo movie? I like the first Scooby-Doo movie. I don’t like 
that they’re they’re separated at the beginning,   but I like them all, but I think I like how much 
of the inspiration of the cartoon was in that initial second live action movie and I like that. 
I don’t know. I’m just biased and nostalgia with the second one. So, just by default, it falls um 
in third and fourth place. For the people who are still here, do you prefer Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters 
Unleash more than the original Scooby-Doo for like those who grew up on Scooby-Doo? Um because Yeah, 
I think that one works as like an introduction to   for people like me, you know? Definitely. Yeah.

Witches Ghost is a great movie. Oh,   it’s time. It’s the one that keeps replaying 
every year. Out of all the Scooby-Doo animated movies. Between the two you’ve seen, which do

Bunch of dead people in the pond and they all came back to avenge people. It’s more over. Yeah. 
That’s It’s definitely more tragic or it’s like this is like spook like really spooky fun, but I 
remember feeling like, wow, this is kind of like   an actual like horror situation. Yeah. Yeah, 
they could make that one like an actual horror movie if they wanted to for live action. I would 
love to see that. I would love to see that. So,   I would go with that one. But yeah, um this 
has been a surprise experience. You know, I I went in very apprehensively to Scooby-Doo. Like 
the the producer of channel guy in me was like, “Yeah, this makes sense. Let’s get a guy who uh 
knows Scooby-Doo and then someone who doesn’t.”   and I feel like that’d be a fun pair. And I was 
like, “Oh, but I don’t really want to watch this.” Like that’s that’s that was my honest like mood 
before and then I was like so surprised by how much I enjoyed it and then now we’re here. Like 
this was not part of the plan at all. We’re the Scooby dudes now. Scooby dudes. What a great thing 
to hear. I love that. The Scooby Dudes. Scooby-Doo dudes. And then we get Andrew Rox here. Where 
are the Jews? We need some help from you now. It could be uh Daphne and um and and Fred. Yeah,   Andrew can be Fred. Be a little Ascot. And

where at the end of it, somehow you’d make the Scooby game look like the bad guys and we’d be 
on your side. Mystery Inc. actually lets you go   and apologizes for Yeah. stopping your dealing
