Hangry Monster! Hello. I’m Russian Sato. I think you guys are all surprised to see my hair color. How my hair came to be this color will be revealed in the video about India that will be released tomorrow. Mr.Mampei from EXIT JACK has already uploaded a video of how I got this hair. and I’m showing it in my community channel, so click the link to see it. I will be posting more and more videos about India, so please look forward to them. Thank you for waiting so long! Today is the day of the release of the Ideal Series! Today, for the ideal rice ball, I received a lot of votes as usual. Surprisingly, the total number of votes, including likes, was 1853 And there were 137 types of rice balls requested. Thanks a million! I receive a lot of applications every time, and I always look forward to seeing the results of the questionnaires. For the questionnaires of Omusubi (rice ball), the common ingredients that everyone loves were at the top of the list. The top vote-getter was tuna & mayo, with 105 votes, that was by far the most significant number. The second most popular was salmon, with 97 votes,
various kinds of salt got 99 votes. seasoned cod roe got 67 votes, Tempura got 84 votes, Different types of Japanese salt plums got 104 votes, grilled rice balls got 66 votes. The number of votes for the typical ingredients of rice balls was very high. Though the number of votes was small, but there were also many interesting rice balls, so I’ll introduce them here. One of them was called “Hin musu(rice ball),” which got six votes. The word “hin” in “hinmusu” means poor. I didn’t know what poor musubi” was, but it turned out to be the Devil’s Omusubi with mitsuba replacing the green laver. This seems to be delicious! I’d like to try making it someday. Another one was called “Mehari Sushi.” They are rice balls for lunchboxes wrapped in takana(Pickled Leaf Mustard). The shape is like a rice ball wrapped in a pickled leaf mustard As you can see, I have had quite a few requests for local omusubi.” I always chose the top ones for my “Ideal Series.” and made a video of them. However, there were many interesting requests that received only a small number of votes. So I’d like to make a video of them someday. I really appreciate your requests all the time. Alright then, since this dish is very simple, I wanted to make omusubi with the best ingredients. So I bought a brand of rice called “Gin no Mikazuki(Silver Crescent).” Which was requested by most people. And it’s new rice harvested for the first time this year. Each grain of rice is big. Today, I would like to cook the rice in an earthenware pot.♪ The soy sauce, mirin, and seasonings are not the ones I usually use. I think I bought a little bit better ones and use just for this. I can’t wait.♪ Now, I’ll get started with “The Ideal Omusubi.” Please enjoy watching the video.♪ I’m going to get a new Kumade(rake) for this year at the upcoming Tori-no-Ichi, which is a traditional annual event. So, before the change, I wanted to show you the rake. The illustrations I got from viewers are also on display. Thank you♪ I’ll get started with “The Ideal Omusubi.” Rice Quickly washed “Gin no Mikazuki.” Soak in water for 30 minutes. washed rice water Put the lid on. Cook on high heat. It’s coming to a boil. It’s ready. All right. It’s ready. Here are 12 types of rice balls. And…you can already see them. Here, grilled rice balls and salted rice balls. And here are bomb rice balls. Then there is miso soup and pickles made by Onigiri-chan, who works part-time at my company. I’m going to dig in now! Itadakimasu. First, I will eat this, a salted rice ball. The grains of these rice are nicely chewy. I can taste each grain of rice in my mouth. Each grain of rice is larger than the normal one. This is a rice variety called “Inochinoichi,” and its brand name is “Ginnomikazuki.” Ginnomikazuki: It contains a lot of water and has the elasticity and stickiness of glutinous rice. It is delicious even when cold. Therefore, it is ideal for rice balls and lunch boxes. It’s chewy. Yummy! The rice ball is delicious! Next, I’ll have the grilled rice ball. This is the grilled rice ball. Many people also voted for the grilled rice balls. It’s great! It’s excellent. The rice is so sticky that I feel as if I were eating a rice cake. I can tell the difference between this rice and ordinary rice when I eat it. This is miso soup with deep-fried tofu and green onion. This is also made with the same bonito flakes used to make okaka. It’s excellent. I’m so happy. I will eat this white rice wrapped in crispy dried seaweed sheet. The seaweed wrapped around the other rice balls has already wilted, so I’ll try to see what it tastes like the rice balls covered with crispy seaweed. The crispy seaweed can be bitten off easily. It smells so good. It’s delish. The flavor of the seaweed is terrific. I’ll eat the grilled rice ball. The crispy seaweed has an excellent texture. It tastes great. The roasting aroma of soy sauce and the seaweed create an excellent harmony. Why do I feel so happy when I eat an onigiri? This sheet made of bamboo bark is so cute. All onigiri have gone. Look! This is the rice ball with salmon roe. That’s a lot! This rice ball has about 700 yen($6.33) worth of salmon roe on it. Itadakimasu. Wow! What a treat to eat! If I ate this at a restaurant, it would probably cost 1,500 yen $13.57). It is expensive salmon roe, and it is incredibly delicious. The flavor of salmon roe spreads throughout my mouth. Look! There is also so much salmon roe in part I bit into. I am in seventh heaven. OMG It’s absolutely delicious. ” Finally, she realized this. ” I didn’t notice that the salmon had fallen. Next, I’ll have the grilled salmon rice ball. There’s a big piece of grilled salmon in this. Itadakimasu. It’s delish. It’s big. The more I eat, the better onigiri I find. Takana and Seasoned Cod Roe Rice Ball. It’s blissful. The rice ball is filled from one side to the other side with takana & seasoned cod roe. Next, I’ll have this one. Tanuki(Tempra bits mix) Onigiri This has a slight shrimp flavor. The aroma of green laver is delightful. I can taste shrimp’s flavor because it is the tempura bits from fried shrimp. This is an okaka rice ball. It’s great! It’s great! The more I chewed okaka, the more broth comes out of it. It’s much more delicious than the okaka made of the leavings from making stock. It has a thick flavor. Since the shaved bonito flakes themselves were thick, it has a firm, crunchy texture and umami flavor. Here is fried chicken, everyone’s favorite. This fried chicken is delicious. The rice ball has a big piece of fried chicken. It has a strong impact. This is a cucumber cut into a shape like a bellows. The salt level is just right. My stomach growled while I was eating. I’l have this one! Spicy Cod Roe Rice Ball There is lots of spicy cod roe on it. Itadakimasu. It’s too luxurious. Rice balls with lots of ingredients are the best, aren’t they? Look! The rice ball is packed with spicy cod roe, which makes me happy. Tempura Rice Ball. Remove the tail of the shrimp first. It’s fantastic! The rice is delicious with the flavors of the ingredients. I ate up all the food on my plate. Pickled Plums Rice ball I wanted to add a lot of fillings to my rice balls, so I used lots of honey-flavored pickled plums, which have less salt. Lots of rice ball filling. The sweet and sour taste of the honey-flavored plums goes very well with the rice balls. This is the home-made kombu and mushrooms boiled in soy sauce. I was able to cook it very well. It’s very soft!! It’s delish. They are so soft that I could eat them even if I didn’t have any teeth. Lots of dashi broth comes out from kombu. It has a bit strong taste. It might be better if it has a little less salt.
“This is because if so, I could eat more.” When I cut the kombu, I sliced it in a direction that cut the fibers, so it became very soft. The kombu becomes softer when it is simmered with vinegar. Since it was simmered for a long time, the sourness of the vinegar cannot be felt. Here, it’s a seasoned boiled egg rice ball. The thing on top of this is a seasoned boiled quail egg.♪ The flavor of the seasoning has soaked into this. Itadakimasu. I am thrilled to see what the egg tastes like. It’s runny!! The seasoning was absorbed into the boiled egg, so even the yolk has a lot of flavors. I made soft-boiled eggs whose yolks were incredibly soft. They were soaked in the sauce, and the water drains out, resulting in a gooey yolk.
Tuna Rice Ball This is great! Since I added a lot of canned tuna, I was worried if the rice balls might lose their shape, but the rice absorbed the oil and was fine. The rice soaked in the deliciousness of the tuna is perfect. I ate up all the food on my plates. I will eat this. This side of the rice ball has tempura bits mixture in it.
I can tell that because the surface is greasy. The oil from the tempura bits is coming out. Itadakimasu. There’s tuna in it, which makes it more oily and greasy. “It’s an oily bomb rice ball.” It’s heavy. Oh, I found the cheese. It’s very filling. The cheese goes well with the taste of the tempura bits mixture. It’s a good combination. The color of the yolk is amber. You can see what’s inside, right? Bomb rice balls are fun to eat because the flavor changes depending on where you eat them. This is the last rice ball. The yolk is runny and delicious. The bomb rice balls are filled with ingredients so that I can taste them no matter where I eat them, so they are delicious with different flavors in different parts. Every part of it is delicious and makes me happy. This will be the last bite! Finished them all~! Gochisosamadeshita. I’m so full! Gochisosamadeshita. Alright! I’ve eaten all the rice balls. They all were delicious. I thought that if I made the onigiri with as many votes as possible, it would turn out to be a typical onigiri, so I made fillings as many as I could by myself, instead of using store-bought ingredients. This time, I made tsukudani (food boiled in soy sauce and sugar) and used carefully selected ingredients such as soy sauce, sugar, salt, and seaweed, so it tasted better than usual. Significantly, the rice and seaweed were very delicious today. I’m so satisfied. I enjoyed a luxurious time eating delicious rice balls.
Thank you so much for your requests. And! and, and ,and, and♪ Though I wanted to do the “Ideal Series” in December as well, I decided not to do it in December since the release of this video was delayed and I’m planning to do a special “Ideal Series” in January, I’d like to start accepting applications for January. The next one will be the culmination of this season’s “Ideal Series.” It is going to be ” Ideal Osechi( traditional New Years’ dish). Osechi is coming! Well…I’ve got many requests….. When I made a previous video on bento, I bought a lacquered boxes, didn’t I? Since then, I’ve received many enthusiastic requests from viewers to make Osechi videos. So I’m going to do it this year. The way to make a request is the same as always.
Would you please write the dish’s name in the comment section of this video with the hashtag? Please write only one dish per person. Would you please write the name of the dish you would like to see in the upcoming ideal Osechi video? I’m looking forward to your requests. There are so many kinds of items in Osechi, aren’t there? I will do my best to make them. I’m also looking forward to seeing how the video will turn out. So, The deadline is Monday, November 25. So please submit your requests before then. The end of the year is approaching. Talking about Osechi makes me realize that the end of the year is coming soon. The weather has suddenly turned cold, so I hope you all don’t catch a cold. Please keep warm while you sleep! Hangry Monster! Thank you very much for watching till the end, as always! Today’s video was about “Rice Balls.” I want to do another omusubi video because there were many yummy-looking ingredients that I couldn’t show you today! I’ll see you guys in my next video! Bye!
