MY FIRST TIME COOKING FUZZY MELON SOUP

Dinner is served! 🍚 First dish I cooked was chicken thighs, king oyster mushrooms and potatoes in oyster sauce stew. Put aside some for hubby’s lunchbox tomorrow. Next dish was my big kiddo’s favourite fuzzy melon with glass noodles, dried shrimps and taupok. My friend suggested this soup idea to use up the unused salted egg that I cut for last night’s dinner. It’s my first time cooking this fuzzy melon soup and it’s delicious! I used minced pork to make meatballs and added mashed salted egg into beaten eggs to make the egg drop soup. Usually a raw salted egg is used to make the egg drop soup but I only have the cooked salted egg. Also added carrot, ginger and tofu. 😋 We enjoyed a flavourful dinner~ 👍🏼
