      I'm also a Taurus, single and living alone with my dog in New York. I spent my last birthday the way you did. I was by myself. I made it a "me" day. I ordered pizza and bought myself a cake. Now that I'm 62, I plan to retire in October and enjoy my life. I've been to Japan 4 times and it was always my dream to live there. Unfortunately I've had some things happen to me, that make that dream almost impossible now. It's not going to stop me from enjoying each new day.

      Astrology is not accurate at all. Some people use it as a guide, but it is easy to become trapped in the box of the sign, hardly able to "step outside" of the box to really discover themselves. I keep one cat, so no houseplants, which can be poisonous. I like the cooking that you do, refreshing seasonal combinations.
