オートミールフレンチトーストの作り方☆レンジで簡単オートミールパンをフレンチトーストに♪-How to make Oatmeal French Toast-【料理研究家ゆかり】

Today I made oatmeal French toast. Hello, I’m Yukari, a cookery researcher. This channel introduces various cooking recipes and useful information. Please subscribe to my channel and enjoy. Please subscribe to my channel Today I would like to make oatmeal French toast. This time I would like to make bread with oatmeal and turn it into French toast. As for oatmeal bread, you can easily make it in the microwave. It is easy to make with simple ingredients, so please enjoy it to the end. Please have a look at it. Let’s start with the ingredients for oatmeal bread. Here are the ingredients. Oatmeal, water, Lakanto S, eggs, and baking powder. I will make it with these ingredients. The sweetness will be added with lakanto, but you can use sugar, light brown sugar, or anything else you like. Next, I will introduce the ingredients for the egg mixture for French toast. Here are the ingredients. Milk, eggs, lakanto S, and unsalted butter. I will make it with these ingredients. Milk is used for the French toast liquid, but you can substitute soy milk or almond milk. The lakanto can also be substituted with sugar or any other sugar of your choice. And now I will use this Tupperware to make oatmeal bread. This was purchased at a 100 yen store. This is a 500ml capacity Tupperware. In width, the width is 13 cm and the length is 9 cm. Be sure to use this one heat-resistant. The thickness and heating time will vary depending on the size of this tupperware, so please adjust the heating time as you see fit. Now, let’s start making it. As for the oatmeal bread, I only use this Tupperware, so it’s very easy to make. First you put the oatmeal here in the Tupperware. Then pour water over this oatmeal. I used water this time to reduce calories, but you can use milk or soy milk instead. Can also use almond milk or something like that. Then once the oatmeal is submerged in water by shaking it like this, I microwave it without wrapping it for 1 minute at 600 watts. Cooked for 1 minute. Oatmeal fluffs up like this. Can also soak the oatmeal in water for 10 minutes without microwaving it, so it can be fluffed like this. Then mix this well once. Once you have mixed this well like this, we will add lakanto here. And mix well. And mix it well each time. Let’s grind the oatmeal so that it is pleasantly crushed. It becomes sticky like this. Now let’s put an egg in here. The size of the egg is M this time. Mix these. Mix this egg thoroughly as well. This is how well mixed it is. Then add the baking powder at the end. And mix well. Make sure to mix the corners well as well, because often these corners are not mixed. If it is well mixed like this, it is OK. I’m going to clean up around it a little bit because it’s got a lot of stuff on it. Drop 2-3 times from a little higher. Now heat without wrapping in a microwave oven at 600 watts for 3 minutes. The heating time may vary depending on the size of the Tupperware and the type of microwave oven, so keep an eye on it. The result looks like this. It is finished like this. If the surface still looks a little raw at this point, try heating it for an additional 10 seconds at a time. Place a piece of plastic wrap on a cutting board. Snap. It looks like this. Now wrap it lightly in plastic wrap to keep it from drying out. Let’s wrap it in plastic wrap like this. Now let’s make the egg mixture. Crack the eggs into the Tupperware. Eggs are beaten and unmelted. Be sure to beat and unmelt the eggs thoroughly. Once the whites are also well beaten, add the milk and lakanto here. Mix thoroughly until the lakanto is dissolved. If you whisk too much at this point, you will get a lot of foamy bubbles on top, so please keep the tip of the whisk on the bottom while mixing to prevent bubbles from forming. If it mixes well like this, it is OK. Now we’re going to dip this oatmeal bread into the egg mixture, and the surface of the oatmeal bread will be smooth like this. Going to cut off a little bit of the sides. Can imagine cutting off the ears of a loaf of bread. This will make it easier for the egg mixture to soak in. It’s really thin and ok. If you cut off the egg like this, there will be more space for the egg liquid to soak in than before. Can eat the cut off part as it is or soak it in the egg mixture together with the cut off part. Now place the oatmeal bread in the egg mixture that you just made. Let it soak. To have it soaked thoroughly and to soak up the egg mixture more quickly, heat this one in the microwave at 600 watts for 30 seconds. Then flip over. Soak again thoroughly and heat this one in a microwave oven at 600 watts for 30 seconds. Now it is ok. If you have time, you can refrigerate it before baking. It’s been 2 hours now. It is soaked like this. You can make about one more batch, so please use this extra egg liquid for another batch or make half the amount of egg liquid. Now I would like to bake this one. Now I will bake this in a frying pan. First, butter in the frying pan. Put it on the fire. Spread butter. When butter is mostly melted, French toast is placed on top. Have ho. The heat is low. Then put the lid on. Continue baking for 3-5 minutes until browned. I have this much egg liquid left over. So I think I can go for about one more sheet. If you use it in the egg solution here, be sure to use it on the same day. It has now been 5 minutes. Lid is opened. Check the browning once. It looks good. Then turn it over. Have ho. I got a nice browning like this. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes. Now open it. Can see the browning and it’s baked well. The bread turned out fluffy like this. Now I would like to take it out. This is how it turned out. Looks delicious. Cut into bite-size pieces. The inside looks like this. Now the oatmeal French toast is ready. This is how it’s finished. The cross section looks like this. The baking color has turned out nice. It’s done. Now, I would like to eat. It’s hard to believe that this oatmeal was made with 30 grams of oatmeal. Let’s eat. It’s incredibly moist and soft inside too. It’s a little bit grainy, but that’s also a nice accent and it’s very tasty. Delicious. I put maple syrup on it, but if you don’t want it too sweet, I think it’s sweet enough without maple syrup. Please subscribe to my channel It finished deliciously today. Here are the key points of this oatmeal French toast. First of all, the key to making oatmeal bread is to make sure you stir it well each time. This will give an even and fluffy finish. Also, before heating in the microwave, always drop it 2-3 times from a slightly elevated point to release the air. Then it will heat evenly and cleanly in the microwave. This time I used water instead of milk or something else for the oatmeal bread to save a few calories. I think water is the way to go when you want to cut down on calories because it tastes good enough to soak up the water and it doesn’t interfere with the taste in any way. You can also use milk, soy milk, almond milk, etc. to enjoy the flavor. The key to preparing the egg mixture is to cut the edges of the oatmeal bread so that the edges are smooth and the egg mixture can be easily absorbed. The egg mixture soaks in faster when heated in a microwave oven. The rest is just baking over low heat, so it’s very easy to make. It’s very tasty and very satisfying, so please try making it. Today I made oatmeal French toast. I have many other various videos on my channel. Please subscribe to my channel and enjoy. I also post on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, so we would appreciate it if you would like to like, follow, and share our posts. Thank you very much. So that’s all for today.
