We’re growing north Georgia candy roasters and upper ground sweet potatoes this year and the leaves look like this. They look beautiful to me.
Thanks, Travis. I’m supposed to try those this year——but, well, maybe Next year….. the leaves are pretty but would really hide a snake well!
So the yellow isnt downy mildew?
Hey Trav😊
I never can trust seed sources. Tried several and they never performed here. Need a very very early and small moschata of some sort.
My Seminole pumpkin vines are taking over the backyard and even grew under the chickens fence where they promptly discouraged that by eating it lol.
Won’t the butternut cross with your Seminole? That could make for a huge Seminole 😮
That happened to me 2 years ago when I grew Lemon Drop watermelons – they actually have bright yellow in the leaves as well!!
Variegated leaves are normal on a lot of pumpkin or winter squash varieties. My autumn frost winter squash has leaves that look like this. Had to learn that myself! Like you said Travis, as long as they’re green and healthy you’re good to go!
👍🏽
So pretty sorta looks like verigated leavess.
I am planting Seminole pumpkins this year and I glad to know what to expect.
My squash leaves did that last year. I was freeking out but after much research, i found it was normal. I almost yanked them up, glad i didn't.😅😊
My zucchini leaves are doing this, and i was so worried!
Sure miss seeing your children in the videos 😊
I thought it was powdery mildew!
Does this happen with Kabocha squash? Just so I know! Last year I planted Long Island cheese pumpkins, and for the life of me I can’t remember if the leaves looked like that. But they were very delicious pumpkins.
Seminole pumpkin. Good to know
Thanks Travis, I had a volunteer come up snd wasn’t sure what it was. Bit now i know. Thx Karen G.
Same thing is true with some peppers
