Vegan Baked Black Kale Chips

These vegan baked black kale chips are light, crunchy and incredibly simple. Oven baked with olive oil and salt, they become crisp and flavourful, a healthy plant based alternative to traditional chips and perfect for snacking.

What I Used

• 200 g black kale
• 20 ml extra virgin olive oil
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper optional

How to Make It

Wash the kale and dry it very well.

Remove the tough stems.

Tear the leaves into bite size pieces.

Place in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.

Massage gently to coat evenly.

Arrange on a baking tray in a single layer.

Season with salt and pepper.

Bake at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes.

Cook until crispy but not browned.

Let cool slightly before serving.

Best eaten fresh. Can be kept up to 1 day in an airtight container.
