【アメリカ】牛なのに手羽先!?バッファローウイングの魅力と作り方

Yes, hello, this is Butcher Shimada from the Hormone Shimata channel. When you think of American food, what comes to mind? Hamburgers, hot dogs, visas, fried chicken. They are all familiar dishes that Japanese people love. Today we are going to make one such American dish, buffalo wings. So let’s get started. Buffalo wings. Today we’re going to make Buffalo Wings. As you can see from the name, this dish is made of feathers. We’re going to use chicken wings. These wings are usually fried and then tossed with hot sauce or butter. Depending on the recipe, you may use chicken wings, or you may use chicken wings, but today we’re going to use chicken wings. We’ve done a video before detailing the differences between chicken wings. Some of you have heard of buffalo wings. Compared to hamburgers and pizza, they may be a little less well known in Japan. Because it has the word buffalo in it, you might think it’s buffalo meat, but it’s actually chicken meat. It is called buffalo wings because it is a wing dish that originated in Buffalo, New York, USA. Locals call them buffalo or wings. There are many theories as to its origin, but it is said that it was first served in a bar in Buffalo. It is a staple of restaurant and bar snacks in the U.S., and is one of the essential dishes when watching the Super Bowl. I casually bought some chicken wings from the supermarket, but considering that you can only get two wings from each bird, gathering this quantity is a challenge. First, mix the flour, cayenne pepper, paprika powder, and salt in a bowl. Put the wings in a large bowl and mix in the flour mixture from earlier. Next, make the blue cheese sauce for the garnish. When it comes to buffalo wings, blue cheese sauce is a must. Chop the onions. Mince the garlic. Finely chop the Italian parsley. In a bowl, crush mayonnaise, sour cream, yogurt, lemon, white wine vinegar, garlic, onion, Italian parsley, salt pepper and blue cheese and mix well. Now the sauce is ready. Next we make the seasoning for the buffalo wings. You can add unsalted butter to the pan. Then add garlic powder, black pepper, and hot sauce, and heat. When the butter melts and comes to a simmer, turn off the heat and remove from the heat. Next, pour oil into a frying pan, heat it up, and lift the wings that have been battered first. Fry them so that they are firm and crispy. Once fried, drain the oil and place the wings in a large bowl. Sprinkle the hot sauce that you just made into it and toss it all together. Once the flavors have been incorporated, place them on a plate with the blue cheese and celery. Now let’s eat it. Let’s eat it. Today we have a MAX Wilhelm guarana that I bought at the Brazilian supermarket earlier. It is a soft drink manufacturer with a long history in Brazil, founded in 1925. I did a lot of research, but there is not much information about this guarana, and our famous drink seems to be a carbonated orange drink. Even though it has a history of almost 100 years in Brazil, there is no information about it in Japan. In fact, if you think that most Japanese products don’t have recognition in other countries and so on, maybe the market is wide. The taste is quite light, unlike the guarana that I usually drink. It’s kind of sweet, like a candy or like the old Chuppetto. It seems to go well with this kind of junk food. So let’s have some buffalo wings. Let’s start with this without the sauce. I like the spiciness and sourness of the hot sauce and the richness of the butter. This time we used Louisiana Hot Sauce Crystal. You could also use Tabasco or something like that. The homemade Louisiana Hot Sauce I made earlier is still aging, so I might use that next time. Next time I’ll have it with blue cheese sauce. Yes, it’s a winner. This blue cheese sauce is a total winner. It mildens the spiciness and acidity of the hot sauce just enough, and it adds the rich flavor of the blue cheese. It’s also great with celery. It could be used as a dipping sauce for vegetable sticks. The buffalo wings themselves have a very simple flavor, but if you take a bite of celery in the middle of this, there’s a lingering celery flavor in your mouth that makes it different. This makes me want beer tremendously. The wings are a good size, so they make an excellent snack or snack. You can get wings relatively cheaply anywhere, so you might want to have a buffalo wing party at home. Anyway, the best thing I discovered today is that blue cheese sauce is very tasty.     手がベタベタになるけど、美味しかったな。
    日本に帰ってから作ってみたけど、何かが足りない気がしましたが、圧倒的にバターの量が足りない事が今回よーくわかったので、またチャレンジしてみます。

    詳しくないですが、ブラジルの清涼飲料って全体的に薄味が多いと感じます。
    昔、勤務地周辺にブラジル人街があって、軽食や軽く飲んだり食べたり出来るお店が多かったのを思い出しました。
    現地の気候が関係しているのかなって思います。
    タイやアジアの暑い国のビールも薄味って言うか、サラッとしたものが多いし。
