Coconut Bread Recipe

Making bread from scratch. Sounds difficult. It is actually simple. This is a treasure of a recipe. I want to share with you.

Coconut 🥥Bread
1 13.5 oZ can coconut milk
1 package Dry Active Yeast
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
Mix all ingredient. Knead for five minutes. You may need to add additional four. So it all comes together into a ball.
Put into a large bowl. Sprayed with cooking spray. Allow to rise & double in size.
Grease bread pan. I used coconut oil. Form dough into bread shape. Place in loaf pan. While oven is preheating to 350 degrees. Allow loaf to rest. Once oven is ready bake 30 to 40 minutes. Timing may vary on your oven. Brush top of bread with butter. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
This bread excellent served with jam for breakfast. Also makes fantastic French toast.

  1. Yum!!! Have you ever put shredded coconut in with your dough? I looove coconut and thought about adding that for extra flavor!

    Also wanted to tell you I have 3 boys too! My oldest is 11 and my other two are twins that are 9. Boys are joys 😊

  2. What size of coconut milk???? Small or large cans???? I only have whole wheat grain flours I order 10 lb of bread flours. Thanks
