I would like to introduce that recipe to you. So now I’m going to actually make it. To make the egg mixture, first prepare one whole egg. Please add 80 milliliters of milk here. Add another tablespoon of sugar. Of course it tastes better when it’s really sweet. That’s all the ingredients you need for the egg mixture. Then just mix thoroughly. Mix the egg yolks and whites thoroughly. Personally, I don’t mind if some of the sugar remains undissolved. It adds a nice sweet accent. So I think that’s a good thing. However, it is better to thoroughly beat the whites. Mix the eggs thoroughly. Beat the egg mixture like this. Also, prepare some Ziploc freezer bags. I’ll put this slice of bread in here. This is a slice of six-slice bread. Please put it in this storage bag. Then add the egg mixture you made earlier into this. Add all the egg mixture. And when you close the bag. Like this, leave an air hole in the middle and seal the rest. It has an air hole only in the middle. In this state, expel the air from below. However, since it contains liquid, it is okay if the air is not completely removed. Let some of the air out like this. And finally, close this center hole. The bread has not yet been soaked in the egg mixture. Flip it over and make sure the egg mixture is evenly distributed across the bread. Leave it like this for 5 minutes to let it soak in. Flip it over once more halfway through to let it soak in more. When freezing food with seasonings, the ice inside the food expands as the food freezes, causing the food to become spongy. Instead, seasonings are added, allowing the seasoning to soak into the ingredients. There is no such effect when it comes to bread. Just because the meat has been pre-frozen does not mean that the egg mixture will penetrate any easier. Because the bread itself is already spongy. This means that these liquids can easily get inside. However, the freezing time allows you to let the bread soak up the egg mixture. The advantage is that the soaking and freezing processes occur simultaneously. I left it for 5 minutes to let it soak in thoroughly. Freeze it in this state. Now, there are some important things to remember when freezing. Later, you’ll fry it in a frying pan while it’s still frozen. If it is not flat, it will be difficult for the food to cook through. So, place it on a tray or on a flat surface in the freezer. It’s important to freeze it flat. This is what it looks like after freezing. It’s frozen solid. The egg mixture is also frozen. If you store this in your freezer, you can enjoy French toast whenever you want. You can fry it frozen in a frying pan. That’s really convenient and nice. I’m going to bake it frozen so I’m going to take it out of this bag. When frozen the bottom will be completely flat. Place it in the frying pan, bottom side down. Now let’s fry it in a frying pan. Add 10 grams of butter. It tastes better if you use a lot of butter. Put it on low heat. Spread the butter over the entire frying pan and make sure the butter is thoroughly melted. Once the butter has melted, add the frozen French toast. Cook the frozen French toast over low heat for 4 minutes. Bake it while it’s still frozen. It burns easily, so it’s best to cook it slowly over low heat. After 4 minutes, flip it over. It has a nice browning effect. This is good enough. Continue cooking the other side for 4 minutes. It’s baked. That’s it. It’s grilled nicely. I cut it into bite-sized pieces. Please take a look. This is still delicious enough. As a finishing touch, I drizzle honey on it. This is high in calories.
