変化は良いことかもしれない!

[Music] A little over a year ago, I found myself at the Gilwood GO station to try some tasty food from the Good Eats by Julian food truck. Well, he’s no longer at that spot now. Things have changed and now he’s at 91 Rylander Boulevard in the plaza there and at the end that’s closest to the Canadian Tire if you’re trying to find it. Now, what hasn’t changed is how good the food is. It still lives up to the name Good Eats. How do I know? Well, he invited me to come by and check out the spot and sample some of the menu. This barbecue fried chicken was the first thing that I got to try. I’ve been back a few other times since filming the original video, but I hadn’t tried this menu item before, and now that I have, I’m thinking I’ve been missing out because I really enjoyed the combination of the crispy fried skin along with that almost candy-like coating of the barbecue glaze. It had my taste buds singing. Oh yeah. The chicken itself was juicy and full of flavor. It was definitely fingerlicking good. That is good. That is some good stuff. I also got a sampling of my favorite, the oxtail. It’s always my go-to in the burger form, and it’s as good as I remember. Succulent, savory, all of that. I completely cleaned everything off the bone. At this point, I felt like I got to have some veg, so Julian gave me a bit of his creamy kleslaw, and that totally filled that need. The curry go was next, and it came with just enough gravy to mix in with some rice. I think it’s solid. Flavors do lean a little bit salty. I could go for a little more boldness here, but genuinely no complaints. Now, the last bite I got to try was this rosé pasta. And I believe that there’s two ways you can get this on the menu. You can either have it with oxtail or with seafood. What I’m getting again is, you know, just a sample just to try the pasta. But what I can tell you is that the pasta is nice and creamy and it’s got a lot of cheesy flavor. I think it’ll go really well, especially with seafood. These folks that you see right here, they’re here for the good eats, too. And I’m so thankful that I got this chance to try more of Julian’s food. Now, if you like what you see in this video, then be sure to make it out to 91 Rylander Boulevard. Maybe I’ll even bump into you there.

The Good Eats By Julian is no longer operating out of the truck at the Guildwood GO Station. Now you can find them at the Abbey Lane Plaza at 91 Rylander Blvd in Scarborough (at the end of the plaza near the Canadian Tire). But don’t worry, what hasn’t changed is the taste of the food. They’re still earning the name “Good Eats”
