vlog | 여름 집밥 만드는 일상 💭 매콤새콤 육회 칼빔면과 명란주먹밥 🍙 초당옥수수 솥밥과 시오콘부 버터, 도시락으로 차돌박이 묵은지 초밥

Hi everyone 🙂 I was really craving some salty pollack roe rice balls, so I got some today 🍙 Slice open the plump pollack roe, and gently scrape out the eggs with the back of a knife. Pollack roe—now in shreds. Pollack mayo: 1T mayo + 0.5T sugar Mix it up, and you’ve got one of Korea’s top 3 mayos. 1. Tuna mayo 2. Pollack roe mayo 3. Don’t mayo-starve yourself No rice in the cooker, so it’s instant rice to the rescue With sesame oil and seeds, I can go anywhere And if you add pollack roe mayo to that… It’s pure rice-thief magic. You don’t need any other side dishes. Had a little taste, and yep—chef’s kiss You can’t skip gim (seaweed) when it comes to pollack roe The aroma hits the moment you open the package… Like ocean breeze mixed with fresh grass 🌿 I love it Even my taste buds, which never left, came running home for this scent Lightly grilling fresh gim gives it elasticity and makes it perfect for wrapping Sudden rage Someone seems to have some deep-rooted anger issues Just finish me off already… When it’s this crushed, you’re good to go (satisfied) It’s been a while—here comes the rice beetle roll Let’s give it plenty of “hair” too ✨ Gim is thin and soft, but once you chew it, the nutty flavor really comes through With rice or seafood, the umami in gim really shines 🤤 At this point, I could pass for a rice beetle among rice beetles It’s so savory and flavorful, you don’t even need side dishes Perfect as a lunchbox menu too 🤍 Cute, round pollack roe & gim rice balls complete 🍙 Lately my algorithm’s been pushing this spicy cold bibim noodles, so I had to try it Apparently it’s amazing with yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) 🥩 Been thinking about it since last night… I was pumped all day Basically dating my food at this point The noodles are thick, so I’ll boil them for 4 minutes while mixing the yukhoe 1T minced garlic + 1T sugar + pepper + 0.5T flavored salt + sesame oil + sesame seeds Mix that up and you get a delicious sesame yukhoe… complete 🐽 Gotta take a bite right away Mmm So good… I just can’t stop eating Mmm~? Huh? It’s seriously so good~ Insanely good… While I was enjoying that, the noodles are ready for a cold shower Shake shake to the rhythm I’ve only tried thin bibim noodles before, so I wonder how this thick-cut kal-bibimmyeon will be. As a proud noodle lover, I’m both curious and excited. Kimchi-flavored tempura topping Kimchi-flavored tempura… these people really know what they’re doing. Please let me join this flavor expert club too. I may not be a researcher, but I can definitely eat well… (clingy) (desperate) Wait a sec… I need to go boil the water now. If I keep editing here, I’d basically be a master of patience, emotional control, and inner Zen. But I’ll just become someone with no self-control… A scoop of yukhoe goes on top Two big scoops, actually And one egg yolk Oh no… it broke Let’s cover it up with some radish sprouts And finish it off with a sprinkle of sesame seeds And there it is—yukhoe kal-bibimmyeon with sesame seeds on top 🍜 Today’s drink is… A chilled and sweet melon soda for the win 🍈 It already smells amazing with that soft melon fragrance 💚 And that vibrant green color is so refreshing and pretty 🍃 The fizzy sound of sparkling water… Alright, let’s go eat now! Starting with a big gulp of soda—thirst comes first Peeking… like a curious kitten 😼 Trying to calm my excitement from the yukhoe Wrapping plenty of yukhoe with kal-bibimmyeon—ready to fire! Yup, it tastes exactly as good as I imagined Maybe it’s the thickness of the noodles, but the chewiness is on another level And above all, the combo with yukhoe is just *chef’s kiss* 🥹 It’s the perfect cold and savory dish for when you lose your appetite in the summer ⛱️ And that subtle kimchi aroma? It adds the perfect kick—smiling automatically It’s the kind of taste that melts your fatigue away Got so into the kal-bibimmyeon that I totally forgot about the pollack rice balls The unique aroma of gim and the saltiness of the pollack roe are such a perfect match 🫢✨ Wait—pollack roe rice balls and kal-bibimmyeon? What a killer combo Wrapping them together makes it even better ㅜ One big bite 🫢 I’ll go enjoy the rest now Let me put away the groceries that arrived early this morning Ricotta cheese—my current obsession Yogurt that takes care of my mornings Sausage I got as a recommendation—can’t wait 🐙 Corn you should eat plenty of in summer 🌽 And my favorite: flavorful Isigny butter 🧈 Lastly, I picked up some shio-kombu too! 🤍 Quickly organizing everything Then I’ll wash up and get lunch ready for work Today I’m adding some of that shio-kombu into my rolled omelet It’s a salty, umami-rich seasoned kombu (kelp) It’s thinly sliced kombu that’s simmered in soy sauce, salt, mirin, and dried 🥹 You can put shio-kombu on rice, in rice balls, It’s great for adding umami to simple side dishes like veggie salads or rolled omelets. Since it’s packed with umami, I use it like a seasoning. If you add it to rolled omelets, it gives an explosion of flavor without needing extra seasoning. Let’s grill some sausages too. I’m already in my late 20s, but I still love sausage side dishes… (It’s not just me, right…? 🥲) Let the omelet cool off in the corner. And grill the sausages until they’re perfectly golden and crispy ❤️‍🔥 It’s been about 5 years since I started packing lunch back in college… But today, for the first time, I’m packing sushi 🤤 For 100g of beef brisket: marinate it with 0.5T soy sauce + 0.5T sugar + 0.3T minced garlic. There’s a colleague I share lunch ideas with, And they recommended brisket sushi as a great lunch box idea 🍣🤍 I recommended my mentaiko rice balls… Hope they liked them 🥹 Let’s make sushi vinegar too!
(For 1 serving: 1T vinegar + 0.5T sugar + 0.3t salt) Shake it well until the sugar dissolves. Mix it into the rice so the grains are shiny and don’t stick together. Here comes the dung beetle roll, off to work again today Now slice through with wasabi and a sharp knife Then gently lay the beef blanket on top Hmm, inequality among beef slices… Why did this one get so burnt-looking? Let’s slice some aged kimchi in the corner too Here, a flower for each of you 🌸 Wrap it with aged kimchi and our brisket sushi is complete! If you wrap it with aged kimchi, it holds together nicely… but I just laid it on top because I was lazy Suddenly, mentaiko appears! It’s almost time to leave now… And I suddenly remembered the seasoned mentaiko I *have* to have with brisket sushi… Just a little bit on top of the sushi makes it absolutely delicious ㅜ It’s a total rice stealer, even with plain white rice I’m rushing now and my hands are starting to shake Another day of skipping makeup for the sake of food Mentaiko + chili + green onion + garlic + sesame oil + sesame seeds + chili flakes… No words needed Now slice the rolled omelet with shio-konbu that’s been cooled, and all side dishes are ready Time to pack everything neatly Honestly, I often sleep in and just use ready-made meals or frozen food too haha Or I just throw in leftovers from the day before in a rush… (which happens a lot) But unless I’m *super* exhausted, I try to pack lunch as often as I can It’s just a routine I made for myself, but whenever I stick to it, I feel weirdly proud (even if it’s rare lol) Anyway, with all my favorite sides packed in, lunch is ready 💭 Let’s grab some ABC juice too And pack a mystery peach for dessert 🍑 Alright, I’m off now—wish me a safe day! 🥹 After work, time to rest a bit and prep dinner Wash the rice thoroughly several times and soak for about 30 minutes Why is opening butter packaging always such a disaster… For dinner, I’m making pot rice (sotbap) And I’ll make some shio-konbu butter to go with it Vanilla ice cream, of course~ Anyway, I’ll leave this one to soften at room temp and refrigerate the rest. Since I finish half of it in 3 days, no need to divide it up. I was too hungry to wait for it to soften at room temp… So I microwaved it for 30 seconds… and it melted way too much. Now I’ll add shiokonbu, a savory seasoned kelp.
(100g butter + 10–15g shiokonbu) Mix the softened butter with the shiokonbu.
(Do not melt it like in the video—keep it in a creamy state like in the photo.) Wrap it in parchment paper and shape it nicely 🤍 Scrape out every last bit and roll it up neatly. Roll it tightly and that’s it~ Super simple. Twist both ends like a candy 🐑🐑 Freeze it as is, and use it later 🧈💭 While that hardens, I’ll make my sweet corn & pollack roe pot rice 👩🏻‍🍳 It’s been a while since I had this sweet corn… my heart is fluttering Let’s gooo It’s crisp and delicious raw, and absolutely divine when steamed… It’s great on its own, but also in rice, soups, or fritters 🌽 After separating the kernels, next up is pollack roe Wait—my nail polish is the same color as the roe? 💅🏻 I wanted to get into summer mode, but didn’t expect this match… Add rice and water in a 1:1 ratio (measure water before soaking) For 150g rice, add 1T tsuyu and bring to a boil on high heat 🔥🔥 Once boiling, lower to low heat and toss in the sweet corn Add the cob too so the aroma and flavor spreads through the rice Pop in the pollack roe next 🩷 Look at that pollack roe… absolutely stunning ⏰ Now cover with a lid, cook on low for 12 min, then let sit for 10 min with the heat off See you in a bit—also, why do my palms look like roe too… Let’s be real—the real star of pot rice is chopped scallions, right? The subtle aroma of scallions really boosts the flavor—you’ll want seconds 💚 I took the butter out of the freezer It turned out cuter than I expected—so satisfying 🤍 And I love the crisp feel as it slices Butter with a little tuft sticking up The pot rice looks so fluffy and perfect Now let’s pile on those beautiful chopped scallions 🧏🏻‍♀️🧏🏻‍♀️ And top it with the salty-savory shiokonbu butter… And voilà, sweet corn & pollack roe pot rice complete Today’s side dish is nutty and crisp! It’s cucumber salad with lots of sesame dressing 🥜 ?? : Don’t eat it—put it on your face Honestly… should I use this on my skin too? Just for a second I considered it But no, better to salt it and eat it deliciously. Sprinkle 1T salt and let it sit for 20 minutes (the salt draws out moisture and keeps them crispy🥒) Wanna see baby kitty while we wait? (yes or yes) –Baby Hoochoo, were you hiding there? Tsk. I’ve been here the whole time, meow. Let’s make the ultimate nutty sesame dressing 🥜 As I grind it, the aroma gets stronger and stronger… I feel intoxicated by the smell 🥹 Cucumber salad: 3T ground sesame + 1T soy sauce + 1T vinegar + 0.5T sesame oil + 1T sugar + 1T mayo + 0.5T peanut butter A match made in heaven—nutty meets nutty. You can skip the peanut butter if you want! But the richness it adds really deepens the overall flavor… 🤍 You can almost smell it through the screen ✨ Squeeze out all the moisture from the salted cucumbers and toss them generously with the sesame sauce 🤎 It was love at first bite at an izakaya I had to try recreating it at home 🥹 Taste test right after making it Crunch Crunch crunch Crunch crunch crunch Found it—my love The texture is amazing, and the nutty aroma intensifies with each bite 😭 Let’s get the soup ready to go with the pot rice Just add the miso soup base and water—done in a flash It’s so easy I make it often 🤍 The broth is rich and flavorful despite being so simple… 🥹 Time to enjoy tonight’s dinner! (Leftover rice makes the best lunchbox rice balls… 🍙) Healing for a homebody really is the little things… (Hmm… Eyes widening kind of taste) Cooking your favorite food, relaxing with Shin-chan It makes me feel like I have the whole world Sweet corn with a crunch, savory pollack roe, and rich salted kelp butter… what a combo It’s a flavor explosion worthy of celebration To the culinary genius who thought of this combo—thank you sincerely Sending you my deepest respect from afar It was so good, I made it two more times while editing this video The salted kelp butter is really the highlight… umami up! Second bowl, please My appetite doesn’t match the sentimental music at all Top it with sesame cucumber salad and it’s pure bliss And just like that, I wrapped up my day with a delicious dinner 🙂 Don’t skip meals just because it’s hot—make sure to eat well, 꿍이들! Thanks so much for watching until the end today Wishing you cool, light-hearted days even in this scorching weather 🍃 See you again next week with a brand new video! Bye for now 🤍

  5. I can tell you if you are trying to do advertising to capture western audiences you can forget about “tartar”. You will capture a SMALL few but most westerners don’t eat raw meat.
