  2. There was nothing like this kind in 1990s. When was this started. I left Japan on Sept 5, 1996 and wasn't able to comeback anymore. During that time, all I could see a d eat were ramen, and odon. Spaghetti wasn't that famous at that time. I've been to Yokohama, Wakayama, Osaka, Hyogo ken, Aichi Ken, Nagoya, Ichinomiya, and Akashi. Spaghetti wasn't really famous at that time and no restaurant selling or specializing different spaghetti alone. I think there is a big development nowadays.
