“Scrambled eggs on toast, tomatoes steamed in basil oil, salad, chicken onion soup”. This time, we’ll use bread in a steamer for breakfast. First, we’ll make tomatoes steamed in basil oil to accompany the salad. Cherry tomatoes are steamed with dried basil, olive oil, and salt. I’m steadily using up the dried herbs that I can’t seem to use up. Next, I’ll prepare steamed scrambled eggs with cheese. Two eggs, two tablespoons of soy milk, two teaspoons of olive oil . Cheese, salt, black pepper. Soft and runny scrambled eggs made in a steamer are my favorite menu♪. I also put the leftover soup from the previous day in a heat-resistant cup and steamed them together. If you put the steamer on the fire, you can make several dishes at once without having to do anything, so you can use this time to toast the bread and arrange the salad. The good thing about a steamer is that it doesn’t waste time and you can make it in a short amount of time. If you peel off the solidified outer part and stir the whole thing halfway through, it will cook faster. Spread butter and ketchup on toasted bread. Steam with basil-scented oil:-). When the eggs are to your liking, stir them together and your cheese scrambled eggs are ready:-). I’ve already featured them many times, but I love these runny scrambled eggs:-). Find the best timing for runny eggs♪. Today I made an open sandwich with a generous amount on the bread. In the previous video, I made a steamer side dish menu that goes well with rice, so this time I’m going to make a menu that goes well with bread, such as an open sandwich or sandwich:-). “Open sandwich with liver paste and marinated mushrooms”. First, make the mushroom marinade. About 200g of mushrooms in total, including mushrooms, maitake mushrooms, and shimeji mushrooms. Also add finely chopped garlic. Add about 50cc of white wine and salt and steam. Leftover liver paste from making banh mi. I want to use it all up, so I’ll spread it generously:-). It’s OK if the mushrooms are soft. Squeeze as much lemon as you like, add parsley, mix well and it’s done. Place generously on bread. Finish with olive oil and black pepper. Today’s companion is coffee, but this is definitely good with wine 🍷. For an evening snack, make bruschetta with thinly sliced baguette :-). “Steamed apple, lemon and blue cheese open sandwich”. Today’s open sandwich uses fruit. Slice the apples and arrange them in a steamer with cooking sheet. Thinly slice a few lemons to squeeze the juice. Squeeze the lemon on the apples and place the slices on top, then add plenty of honey. Steam for about 10 minutes. The bread we’re using today is Earl Grey bagel. Cut it in half and place blue cheese on top. For the last 3 minutes, stack the bagels together and steam. Melty apples ♪. Place the apples on the bread and add some extra blue cheese. If you put dill on top, it will be much more refreshing and delicious. Cheese x fruit x herbs, I love this kind of thing 🤤. Sweet and sour and delicious ♪. This also goes well with alcohol (lol). You can put prosciutto on it ♪. The apple season is over, but from now on, it might be nice to use peaches to make a compote-like thing ♪. “Mushroom omelette sandwich”. Today, I’m going to arrange the marinated mushrooms I made on Day 2. I’m going to mix the eggs with a little soy milk and salt and beat them. I ‘m going to add the marinated mushrooms here and make a steamed omelette. I’m going to make a salad by mixing mizuna with mayonnaise and balsamic vinegar. I’m going to spread the salad on bread. When the eggs are about 70-80% set, I’m going to shape it into an omelette and steam it until it’s set. If you don’t want to bother, you can just fold it up at the end! I put it in between the bread and made a sandwich today. The no-fuss omelette is also good for the coming season when it’s hot and you don’t want to stand in front of the stove. “Cheese steamed bread”. Today, I wanted to make cheese steamed bread. I used the recipe of “Rice flour cheese steamed bread” by Tomizawa Shoten as a reference :-). I changed the milk to soy milk. I added cheese and heated it to melt. I tried to use less cane sugar so that it can also be used as a meal bread. The ingredients are only soy milk, cheese, cane sugar, eggs, rice flour, and baking powder. The best thing about steamed bread is that it’s simple to make :-). Steam for about 15 minutes. It’s round and cute…♪. But this final touch is important. I feel like the deliciousness level increases many times just by browning it 🤤. The freshly steamed bread was very delicious :-). Fluffy♪. It’s also nice that the baked parts are crispy♪.
