[MUKBANG] 6Kg of Superfood Amaranth Made to Imitate Mentaiko Fish Eggs | Yuka [Oogui]

Why hello there its Kinoshita Yuka So, Today…. do you guys know that Amaranth is?
its an ancient grain from South America in terms of calories it is equivalent with other grains
but it has far more protein, roughly double 30 X more calcium and 10 X more magnesium and Iron
this is an amazing food isn’t it? these Amaranth grains are packed are loaded with
vitamin B and many nutrients vital for women’s health its apparently a super food this ama – ran
thus normally people prepare this by cooking it with
some rice but today I found a very interesting way to prepare this so I’ll give it a go and today I’ll be cooking with 1Kg of amaranth
let’s get cookin’ now I’ll cut some green onion that I’ll use as a topping ok we’ve got a lot here I’ll use 10 umeboshi (pickled plum)
I’ve removed the seed and mashed them up put the amaranth in a bowl and quickly give it a rinse
then in a pan fry till it gives off a nice aroma once it gives of a nice smell add the umeboshi
cook on low for 20 minutes ok 20 minutes have elapsed lets take a look see
Peeps be careful to not burn yourself with the steam ok it looks like this now
everyone, don’t you think this looks like “that” thing? yes today I’m going to make this to resemble some
mentaiko (fish eggs) so at the end adding this Nam Pla will complete the dish lol it looks like ?quicksand? ok I have 8 cups of rice here and then add the
amaranth-mentaiko on top of this rice today I want to make this taste sort of like some
mentaiko and rice. ~well it would be cool if it turned out~ ok well.. it sort of looks like mentaiko. SRSLY ok its loaded to the top
man. if this was real mentaiko you’d never be able to eat this much in one sitting because of how expensive it is ok and now lets top it with some green onion tadaa the dish is complete
omg its goona spill halp ?it all barely fit? today I learned that amaranth really bulks up
when you cook it with water. it caught me off guard ok lets weigh it shall we
without the bowl its 5.4kg and today I have 700g of miso soup
combined it weighs around 6kg it smells like~
umeboshi itadakimasu for reals it looks like mentaiko
it reminds me of mentaiko pasta sauce ok it looks like this
it looks super hot wel. the flavor does taste like mentaiko
((not mentaiko but rather umeboshi)) and well the bit of nam pla gives it that mentaiko like taste
… perhaps? the amaranth is supposed to be good for you
so I guess this dish is alright I like umeboshi already so eating this with the rice
makes for a great meal I believe nam pla and rice is a good match
I really like it as I eat it I think its pretty good
so the main flavor is the salty sour umeboshi but the salty nam pla flavor is mixed with it and
it really makes for a good pairing with rice I’m thinking that some seaweed would be a good acompaniment lets give it a taste yup it goes with it final mouthful itadakimasu gochisosamadeshita well… it did have the mentaiko like small exploding
spheres when you bit down on them and this nam pla had the fishy salty flavor
this nam pla is made from tiny fish salted and fermented for 4 months
so the flavor is sort of like mentaiko and I guess the umeboshi is there to just add the right color the flavor didn’t resemble mentaiko at all
it didn’t taste terrible and “omg it tasted awesome” is something that …..
I wouldn’t say about this dish to tell the truth but it is loaded with nutrients and well
“its good for you” this was my first time eating amaranth
it was a pretty fun experience I guess and I though that eating things that are healthy
was a good change of pace and everyone please won’t you give this a try
