I’ll be introducing 12 items in total this time, including rainy season countermeasures, new summer products , and my favorite items that I always buy over and over again. I hope this will be helpful for your shopping. First up is this reusable dehumidifier with deodorizing function. It’s an essential item for your closet during the rainy season. It’s 990 yen for a pack of 10, and it’s nice that it comes in a ziplock bag. It’s simple and uncluttered, typical of MUJI! If you wear sneakers on such days, the water will penetrate into your socks and get soaked! That’s why I decided to spray my shoes in advance. I think that if you spray waterproof spray on new sneakers or freshly washed indoor shoes , it will also prevent dirt. I also sprayed a leather bag . Of course, it can also be used for cloth tote bags. I was thinking of using it on umbrellas, but… “Vinyl, nylon” is listed in the “unusable materials” … My umbrella is a common vinyl umbrella, but I don’t know the material, so I gave up. Next up is 5x toilet paper.This toilet paper is about five times longer than normal.A single roll costs 180 yen, but for some reason a pack of four costs 599 yen.We think this is probably due to the difference in packaging costs, but the pack of four is a better deal.There are 4 rolls, so you get 20 rolls, so the biggest advantage is that it doesn’t take up much space when stored.Since there are 20 rolls packed tightly together , it feels quite heavy when you hold it.I bought the single size, but there is also a double type.Single rolls are 250m per roll, and double rolls are 125m.Actually , I’ve been wondering about this for a while – will it fit in the holder in my toilet? I hesitated to buy it for a while because I didn’t know what it would be like. It’s good value for money, and I bought it because I thought it would be good for disaster preparedness even if it doesn’t fit. It’s great that it saves you the trouble of replacing it, and it doesn’t have a core, so there’s no waste. It looks like this compared to a regular single 50m. Next up is the “Gummy candy made with your skin in mind” series. Each bag is 290 yen and there are 4 types in total. These gummy candies contain nutrients needed by the skin that are often lacking in other nutrients. I bought 2 bags of collagen lol . Each Kyoho gummy candy contains 305 billion lactic acid bacteria , each mango gummy has 20.3mg of iron , each white peach gummy has 4,880mg of collagen , and each blood orange gummy has 333mg of vitamin C. By the way, the recommended daily intake of vitamin C according to the nutrient labeling standards is 100mg, so 6 tablets per day is the guideline. I counted and there were 18 tablets, which is a 3 day supply. The size of the gummy candies is small but they are elastic and have a good bite. The taste is just average and delicious. If you’re going to buy them , you want to choose the ones that are good for your skin. I thought it was convenient to be able to supplement your nutrients like a snack . Next! Next up is a summer-only product: Chilled Chazuke with Kimchi and Zhasai. Two servings for 390 yen. It’s a freeze-dried product that’s super easy to eat. Just put it on top of 100g of warm rice and pour in 160ml of water! Mix for 1 minute to loosen it up and it’s done ! It’s a perfect dish for when you don’t have time, don’t feel like doing it, or don’t have an appetite because it’s hot . It’s great for breakfast or lunch, as well as for finishing off a night of drinking. I thought it might be cold, but if you make it with warm rice, it will have a slightly warm finish . If you don’t like cold things, you can also make it with hot water. The kimchi and zhasai flavor is a little spicy, but even I, who don’t like spicy food, can enjoy it. It was really easy to eat and I finished it in no time. By the way, the same freeze-dried type also has black vinegar, scrambled eggs, chopped vegetables, Yamagata dashi, pickled plum meat, and Chinese yam. I thought I’d like to stock up on a few this summer. Next! Next up is the handmade kit of Khao Man Gai, which I’ve bought many times, for 290 yen, and the soup, Minestrone with 5 kinds of vegetables, which comes with 4 servings for 450 yen. The minestrone is freeze-dried and contains vegetables, so I keep it in stock. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought Khao Man Gai. At home, we cook rice in a pot, but if you use a rice cooker, just add the rice powder and water according to the instructions to 2 cups of rice, mix lightly, then place the chicken on top and press the switch. Once it’s cooked , take out the chicken and cut it into bite-sized pieces. The color is light, but the flavor is strong with the dashi. The rice has a slight scorch on it, which is also fragrant and delicious . All that’s left is to add vegetables to your liking and serve it up. For soup, I also used Muji’s minestrone soup. My husband wanted to drink pork soup, so I also used Muji’s, which I kept in stock. Both are freeze-dried, so all you need to do is pour in hot water . This is how a simple one-plate meal was completed! I pour the sauce that comes with the dish over the Khao Man Gai. I personally don’t like coriander, and I’m not that good at Thai food, but Muji’s Khao Man Gai has little flavor and is easy to eat. The chicken is also very tender. The sauce is slightly spicy, but overall has a mild flavor. The minestrone soup has a gentle sourness and a rich flavor like stewed vegetables. By the way, this time I also purchased the following: Seasoning for Rice – Okinawa-style Braised Pork Rice. Just add this to the rice and cook it in the rice cooker. For 2 cups of rice, it costs 390 yen . I haven’t tried it yet, but one of Muji’s charms is that they have a wide variety of products that allow you to easily enjoy local dishes that you don’t usually make. Next! I tried the small sizes of Muji’s popular “Irregular Baumkuchen” Irregular Honey Baumkuchen and Banana Baumkuchen. They are about half the size of the regular size and cost 120 yen each. They are the perfect size for when you want something sweet or as a dessert after a meal . It’s been a while since I’ve had them, and they’re still delicious! For those who find the regular size a bit too much and are concerned about calories , we recommend this smaller size.Cotton candy that you crave every once in a while, 1 bag for 120 yen.The cotton candy you see at festivals is too big for a middle-aged couple like us, but we just want to have a bite , and MUJI meets that need, as expected.Next up ! Cat snacks made with Princess’ favorite ingredients: Chicken fillet puree, 4 sticks for 390 yen.There are also tuna, bonito, and fish mixes, which she enjoys, but my princess is by far the chicken fillet fan.She gets excited just by taking it out of the package.The only ingredients are chicken fillet, rice flour, and lactic acid bacteria.No wheat is used in consideration of wheat allergies.Contains lactic acid bacteria to support intestinal environment.We generally eat snacks sparingly, but we still need a treat every once in a while, right?
