母の日のおもてなし/お昼ごはん/米粉シフォン/料理vlog

My husband Orange was away on a business trip over the weekend. It’s hard to look after my two sons by myself for two days, so… I asked my mother to come and help me out by staying over 🙌 (thank you) My mother took the children out right away, so I was able to prepare lunch while they were out. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, so I’m going to try to make a special lunch today. First, I’m making a new burdock root soup. After blending it, I added milk and heavy cream, and it’s done (seasoned with bouillon and salt). Next is salad. Mix the carrots with French dressing and boil the green beans with salt. Arrange the salad after the green beans have cooled. The main dish is Milanese-style cutlets made with white fish (cod). Remove the bones (this is surprisingly difficult). Dip in the batter and coat with breadcrumbs, but… I realized I forgot to mix the grated cheese into the breadcrumbs. Rice oil When making Milanese cutlets, I always make fresh tomato sauce. The recipe is simple: just mix tomatoes, basil or Italian parsley, salt, pepper, and olive oil. I also plate the salad. Drizzle with French dressing and dill, and it’s done. The baguette is from Maison Kayser. My eldest son, Lime, has recently become addicted to Maison Kayser’s baguettes, and he wanted me to try them, so I bought some first thing this morning. I added some iced tea to complete the meal. My mother looked at the table and said, “Wow, that looks amazing! It looks delicious!” I told her that tomorrow is Mother’s Day and that I made it with gratitude, and she was very happy. Lime-kun introduced the baguette to my mother without me saying anything, saying, “It’s from Maison Kayser! It’s delicious!” Lime-kun was eating baguette as usual, but he said the Milanese cutlet and soup were delicious too, which was nice. My younger son Yuzu-kun took a nap, and my mother and Lime-kun went out again. In the meantime, I’ll make a rice flour chiffon cake. I wonder if it will bake well. White sesame oil. Milk Vanilla extract Rice flour, baking powder Next, wash the hand mixer beaters before beating the egg whites. This part is a bit tedious… lol Add the brown sugar in three batches. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. Add the meringue to the batter. Oh no! Some of the precious batter spilled out 😭 Wipe the mold too… Bake at 160 degrees for 45 minutes. It’s done baking! ✨ Let it cool until nighttime.
(I didn’t have any fancy bottles, so I had to use a Kinmiya bottle… lol) The kids finally fell asleep! 👏✨ Now my mom and I are going to enjoy the chiffon cake we’ve been looking forward to! ♪ It turned out pretty well again this time. 🤗💕 I’m so happy. Tonight, I’ll add some whipped cream. The tea is Mariage Frères Rouge Earl Grey (caffeine-free). It’s fluffy and chewy, and so delicious! My mother also likes chiffon cake and used to bake it often, but
this was her first time trying the rice flour version, and she said it was delicious. Just as we finished eating, I surprised my mom with a Mother’s Day gift! She had been wanting a smartwatch for a while,
so I gave her an Apple Watch. The next day, when my mother returned home and showed off her Apple Watch to my father, he also wanted one, so I decided to give him his Father’s Day present early. When I blended the burdock with a hand blender,
maybe because there wasn’t enough, it splattered everywhere. 💦 The hot burdock flew onto the stove and even onto my arm, making a big mess. 😂 When I tried to set up the camera and turn it around… It wasn’t cooked yet, lol. This whisk is inconvenient because it doesn’t have a handle… …That’s because I’m using the whisk that came with my old hand blender 😓 I think it’s about time I bought a good whisk Thank you for watching until the end 🍋💕 The next video will be uploaded on Sunday, June 8!
