JAPANESE MISO PORK & LOTUS ROOT STIR-FRY 豚肉とれんこんの味噌炒め

Ingredients:
-Ground Pork 140 gr
-Lotus Root 250 gr
-Cooking Oil 1 tbsp
-Steamed Rice (optional) to serve

Seasonings:
-Sake 1 tbsp
-Mirin 1 tbsp
-Sugar 1/2 tbsp
-Miso 1 tbsp
-Soy sauce 1/2 tbsp

Methods:
1.Gather all the ingredients.
2.Peel lotus root skin & thinly slice the lotus root. Cut again into bite size pieces. Soak in water for about 5 minutes. Then drain well.
3.In a bowl, add all the ingredients for seasonings. Mix well.
4.Heat oil on medium heat, add ground pork & break it up. When the meat is cooked, add lotus root, cook for about 4 minutes.
5.Add the sauce & combine well. Cook until the liquids almost dry about 2 minutes.
