【相撲飯】明太ウインナー巻き・コンソメ炒め・焼きそば・水餃子・カレーちゃんこ鍋 / 🍚『ちゃんこ番:出沼・若雅・梅山』

Staff) You still look half-asleep. Wakamiyabi) He just woke up. Wakamiyabi) He really just woke up. Staff) Thinking about the menu? Wakamiyabi) Yeah, he’s thinking about it. Wakamiyabi) Should I cut the onions? Denuma) Yeah. Wakamiyabi) Okaaay. Staff) You two are totally in sync. Staff) He knows without being told—cutting onions. Wakamiyabi) Easy. Wakamiyabi) If he pick up the onions, I’ll cut them. Wakamiyabi) That’s it. Wakamiyabi) But even with this… Wakamiyabi) He says my level dropped. Wakamiyabi) That’s strange. Wakamiyabi) So sad. Staff) Dropped in what way? Wakamiyabi) Like consideration? Staff) Consideration? Staff) Your thoughtfulness level dropped? Denuma) He’s slacking. Staff) Slacking? Staff) Denuma, what’s today’s menu? Denuma) I’ll start with a stir-fry. Wakamiyabi) A simmered dish for lunch. Denuma) we’ll eat it again for dinner. Denuma) And speciality for sekitori. Denuma) We’ve got mayo sauce here. Staff) Pasta? Denuma) Could even do pasta. Denuma) I’ll use yakisoba noodles. Staff) Yakisoba? Denuma) Yeah, I’ll use yakisoba. Wakamiyabi) Then I should cut lots of onions for stir-fry and yakisoba? Denuma) Yeah, that’s right. Staff) Minister of Onions. Wakamiyabi) Onions coming up! Denuma) Two or three onions just for the yakisoba. Wakamiyabi) Got it. Staff) That’s six in total. Wakamiyabi) Like I was born just to cut onions… Wakamiyabi) I’ll cut a ton. Staff) A man who loves onions. Wakamiyabi) And loved by onions. Denuma) Don’t cut your fingers. Wakamiyabi) Okaaay. Wakamiyabi) I’ll be careful. Staff) Fingers are precious. Wakamiyabi) Yeah, they are. Wakamiyabi) Today while washing dishes… Wakamiyabi) I got injured by somen noodles. Staff) What do you mean? Denuma) He’s always hurting himself somehow. Wakamiyabi) Today, between my nail and finger… Wakamiyabi) A dried somen noodle… Wakamiyabi) That was stuck from being boiled and hardened… Wakamiyabi) Pierced into the gap under my nail. Staff) That’s torture. Wakamiyabi) And then detergent got inside the wound. Wakamiyabi) It was agony. Staff) Torture from a somen shop. Denuma) He’s always doing something. Wakamiyabi) Yeah, for everyone’s sake… Wakamiyabi) I take the hit… Wakamiyabi) So others won’t. Wakamiyabi) I take it on myself instead. Wakamiyabi) As a lesson to others. Denuma) I don’t get what you’re saying… Staff) That’s not what “lesson” means. Staff) Wrong word choice. Wakamiyabi) Oh, really? Staff) Anyway, Wakamiyabi—any summer memories? Wakamiyabi) This summer? Wakamiyabi) Do the others have any? Wakamiyabi) Did anyone talk about summer memories? Staff) Some mentioned summer festivals. Staff) Yeah, a few did. Wakamiyabi) Really? Wakamiyabi) What about you, Denuma? Staff) Any summer memories? Denuma) Just practice, all the time. Staff) So practice is your summer memory. Wakamiyabi) That’s a rikishi’s life. Wakamiyabi) Oh, I do have one. Staff) What? Wakamiyabi) On the way back home… Wakamiyabi) I saw people heading to the pool. Staff) That’s your memory? Wakamiyabi) Yeah, it is. Wakamiyabi) Thinking, “The pools are crowded again this year.” Staff) By the way, Denuma—what’s with that shady face on your LINE icon? Staff) That’s at the training camp, right? Denuma) Yeah, that’s from the training camp. Denuma) Some kind of iai-sword thing. Denuma) At the dojo. Denuma) They let me hold it for a bit. Wakamiyabi) He was playing Demon Slayer. Staff) I see. Staff) Which Hashira? Wakamiyabi) The Frying Hashira. Staff) Frying Hashira? What’s that? Wakamiyabi) He fries the demons’ heads. Staff) You eat them? Staff) Umeyama, what about your summer memory? Staff) Got any? Umeyama) There was a summer event in a game. Staff) A game event? Umeyama) Yeah, I played the summer event. Staff) Where did you go? Umeyama) Not anywhere—it was in the game app. Staff) Ah, inside the app, summer event. Umeyama) That’s about it. Denuma) Done cutting them all? Staff) That’s for six onions? Denuma) Yeah, six onions. Wakamiyabi) Surprisingly, six onions isn’t that much. Wakamiyabi) Shouldn’t we add sausages to the yakisoba? Denuma) Nah, I was thinking of using beef thigh. Wakamiyabi) Opinions are divided. Wakamiyabi) Let’s go with that then. Staff) That’s already cut. Staff) Ham? Denuma) Ham. Denuma) Hey, Wakamiyabi. Wakamiyabi) Yeah? Denuma) Actually, sausages might be better. Wakamiyabi) Yesss! Staff) For yakisoba, yeah. Denuma) Yeah, yakisoba needs that. Staff) Denuma, outside of sumo… Staff) Any athletes you respect? Wakamiyabi) Should we toss all this in? Denuma) No, not all. Wakamiyabi) We’ll need some for the speciality too—maybe half. Denuma) Since I did judo, I guess judo athletes. Staff) Which ones? Denuma) Honestly, I don’t know many names. Staff) Oh really. Denuma) I don’t really watch sports matches much. Denuma) But that one was crazy—in pro wrestling. Denuma) Super famous. Denuma) Takayama-san vs… Denuma) Don Frye. Staff) The slugfest? Denuma) Yeah, that was insane. Staff) That was wild. Denuma) It’s even on YouTube. Denuma) They punched each other until their faces swelled up. Denuma) Like this. Denuma) I thought, “No way I’d want that in sumo.” Denuma) Left a huge impact on me. Staff) Yeah, that was a legendary match. Staff) What about you, Wakamiyabi? Wakamiyabi) Athlete I respect? Wakamiyabi) Rui Hachimura. Staff) Rui Hachimura? Staff) Why him? Wakamiyabi) Because seriously… Wakamiyabi) In the NBA… Wakamiyabi) He paved a path for Japanese players. Wakamiyabi) I used to play basketball myself. Staff) Oh right, you did basketball? Wakamiyabi) Yeah, in junior high. Staff) Were you center? Wakamiyabi) Yes, that’s right. Staff) Like Gori. Wakamiyabi) I was Gori. Wakamiyabi) Doing swats all the time. Wakamiyabi) Feels so good. Denuma) Adding this in. Staff) Denuma, what’s your body fat percentage? Staff) Your body fat? Denuma) I measured it once. Denuma) Quite a while ago. Staff) After you became a rikishi? Denuma) Yeah, after I joined. Denuma) Around my second year. Denuma) In Kyushu. Denuma) It was about 40%. Staff) 40%? Staff) And you’ve gotten bigger since then? Denuma) Yeah, now… Denuma) Back then my weight was… Denuma) Not quite 160kg. Staff) Still big though. Denuma) I think it’s more now. Staff) What’s your weight now? Denuma) Around 168kg. Staff) The biggest one? Denuma) Yeah, me. Staff) In the stable? Salt and pepper. Denuma) Just microwave it a bit. Denuma) 500 watts is fine. Denuma) About a minute. Umeyama) Got it. Denuma) In a heatproof bowl. Umeyama) Okay, understood. Denuma) Then shred it up. Wakamiyabi) You’ll use the iron pan for the yakisoba, right? Staff) Oh, nice thinking. Staff) Wakamiyabi, you’re growing, huh? Denuma) Yeah. Denuma) No, not really. Denuma) It’s just… Consommé. Denuma) That’s it. Denuma) The human side of him. Denuma) I keep that down a little. Wakamiyabi) Huh? Denuma) I lower his human side. Staff) Like as a person? Denuma) Yeah, not great. Wakamiyabi) Why? Wakamiyabi) In what way? Staff) Consommé? Denuma) Consommé. Staff) Stir-fry with what? Denuma) Consommé stir-fry. Staff) Consommé stir-fry? Staff) What bothers you about it? Denuma) The backside of it. Wakamiyabi) What? Staff) Backside? Denuma) Not that it’s bad. Denuma) Just that he jokes around too much. Denuma) But it’s not like… Denuma) It annoys me or anything. Denuma) He’s got a good character. Wakamiyabi) Gocchandesu. Staff) You two are close. Wakamiyabi) But we go all out in practice. Denuma) No we don’t. Staff) You go all out in practice? Wakamiyabi) Yeah, all out. Wakamiyabi) According to Justin. Wakamiyabi) The closest junior to us is the one saying that. Denuma) Do we really look that intense? Wakamiyabi) Apparently so. Denuma) Well, it’s sumo—it can’t be helped. Denuma) It comes off that way. Staff) But Denuma always looks angry. Denuma) I look angry? Staff) Umeyama, do you have any athletes you respect? Umeyama) Athletes I respect? Umeyama) I don’t really watch sports much. Umeyama) But like Ohtani… Umeyama) He’s just so cool, somehow. Umeyama) Just hearing about him… Umeyama) Even without watching, I think “Wow, he’s awesome.” Umeyama) He’s amazing. Staff) Is he Japan’s pride? Umeyama) Yeah. Denuma) Do we have yakisoba sauce? Umeyama) It’s in there. Denuma) Okay, let’s add it then. Staff) Umeyama, your time at the sumo school is almost up, right? Staff) Ends this week? Umeyama) Yeah, it ends this week. Staff) Does the content change as it comes to an end? Umeyama) Nah, not really. Umeyama) Since there are new people, it doesn’t change much. Staff) Because new ones keep coming in. Staff) Did you make it to Class A? Umeyama) Nah, Class A is way too strong. Staff) So Class B? Staff) Who’s in Class A? Umeyama) It’s a class of people who can wrestle on par with the instructors. Umeyama) And then… Umeyama) Some really strong ones. Umeyama) There are rikishi starting from the Makushita division — it’s a really strong class. Staff) You only say “Gocchandesu” when thanking, right? Wakamiyabi) Gocchandesu. Wakamiyabi) When thanking, or before eating. Wakamiyabi) That’s about it? Wakamiyabi) For gratitude and meals. Staff) And “Thanks for the meal” too? Wakamiyabi) “Thanks for the meal—gocchandeshita.” Wakamiyabi) After finishing, I say, “Thanks for the meal—gocchandeshita.” Wakamiyabi) Wouldn’t it be tasty with sesame oil? Denuma) Yeah, let’s do it that way. Sesame oil. Staff) Do you do maintenance to avoid injuries? Denuma) Lately I’ve been going to the chiropractor a lot. Staff) Something hurts? Denuma) Sometimes. Denuma) Like my back. Denuma) When it hurts, I go to the chiropractor. Denuma) Get some treatment done. Denuma) And I use a massage gun too. Denuma) To loosen things up. Staff) Don’t they comment on your size? Staff) Like, “You’re so big, so stiff.” Staff) When you go to the chiropractor? Denuma) Not really. Denuma) I go there a lot, so… Staff) They’re used to it? Denuma) Yeah, they’re used to it. Denuma) They just ask, “So what’s up today?” Denuma) I usually get electrical therapy and a massage. Denuma) They’re like, “Same as usual?” Black pepper. Powdered sauce. Denuma) Feels like the powder isn’t enough. Denuma) I’ll add the sauce. Wakamiyabi) Osu! Yakisoba sauce. Denuma) Looks pretty good, right? Denuma) That makes two plates already. Wakamiyabi) Two plates from that? Denuma) Yeah, plenty. Denuma) There’s lots of ingredients too. Staff) This yakisoba looks tasty. Denuma) Yeah, I think it’ll be good. Denuma) Do you usually add aonori to yakisoba? Staff) Yeah. Staff) If there is, I’ll add it. Denuma) We don’t have any. Wakamiyabi) Too bad. Denuma) Actually, we don’t have it. Staff) If there’s katsuobushi, I’d add that too. Denuma) We’ve got katsuobushi. Denuma) But I never picture katsuobushi on yakisoba. Staff) It’s good on top though. Staff) Red pickled ginger is good too. Denuma) Red pickled ginger never shows up here. Denuma) Our stable never has it. Wakamiyabi) But yakisoba with red ginger is really good. Staff) If I didn’t care about calories, I’d put mayo too. Denuma) That’s up to each person, I guess. Staff) And a fried egg on top. Wakamiyabi) Nice. Wakamiyabi) I’d like toppings. Denuma) There’s that okonomiyaki with yakisoba noodles inside. Denuma) Modern-yaki? Staff) Nah. Staff) That’s just okonomiyaki. Denuma) Really? Wakamiyabi) Yeah, in Hiroshima vs Osaka style. Staff) People in Hiroshima don’t call it Hiroshima-yaki. Staff) How’s the middle room atmosphere? Staff) I don’t go there much. Wakamiyabi) What do you mean? Staff) Like the new recruits. Wakamiyabi) They’re lively. Wakamiyabi) Keiga and I are like invisible air together. Staff) Who talks the most? Wakamiyabi) Shunta. Staff) Shunta? Wakamiyabi) Yeah, Shun-boy. Staff) Shunta talks a lot? Wakamiyabi) He talks a lot. Umeyama) Yeah, that’s true. He does. Wakamiyabi) Seriously. Staff) With who? Wakamiyabi) With Takahara Keito. Staff) They’re close? Wakamiyabi) Yeah, they’re close. They game together. Staff) I’m curious what a day is like for those two new recruits. Wakamiyabi) Yeah, I wonder too. Wakamiyabi) When we’re not watching them… Denuma) Oh, I got an idea. Wakamiyabi) Oh, lightbulb moment. Staff) What? Denuma) Just roll it up. Denuma) Wrap it in egg. Wakamiyabi) Where’d the sausages go? Denuma) Still debating whether to add them. Denuma) Let’s add them. Denuma) Mentaiko sausage roll. Denuma) Feels kinda off though. Staff) Yeah. Denuma) Nothing else comes to mind but mentaiko sausage roll. Wakamiyabi) Then let’s go with that. Staff) Yeah, let’s. Staff) Should we add mentaiko sauce too? Denuma) Yeah. Staff) Double mentaiko. Denuma) Double mentaiko. Mentaiko mayo. Wakamiyabi) I’m carrying a knife, so be careful. Staff) Original dish. Denuma) Original dish. Denuma) Feels like something everyone makes. Staff) No, they don’t. Staff) So it’s done? Denuma) For now. Wakamiyabi) This hot pot is good. Staff) Curry hot pot. Wakamiyabi) I was so focused on eating the somen that I barely touched the hot pot. Nobehara) Man, I’m sleepy. Nobehara) What should I eat for midnight snack? Nobehara) What do you think I should have? I’m tired. Nobehara) What do you think? Staff) For what purpose? Nobehara) What do you mean, purpose? Staff) Just for maintaining weight? Nobehara) Yeah, mainly to keep my weight. Nobehara) But no junk food. Staff) Chicken breast? Staff) Or just get gyudon? Nobehara) I’ve had gyudon three days in a row. Staff) Then katsudon. Nobehara) Where? Staff) I don’t know. Nobehara) A katsudon shop? Nobehara) Sometimes I just wanna be alone. Nobehara) Like… Nobehara) Best would be cooking for myself, but… Nobehara) I’m too lazy for that. Nobehara) Something around 1000 yen. Nobehara) Just grab and eat. Nobehara) With earphones in. Nobehara) Not exactly alone, but… Nobehara) I like eating while watching YouTube by myself. Staff) Since you’re always with others. Staff) You need that solo time. Nobehara) What did you make, Wakamiyabi? Wakamiyabi) These onions. Wakamiyabi) The sausages, onions, and cabbage here. Nobehara) That’s not cooking. Nobehara) That’s just cutting. Nobehara) Everyone eat up. Nobehara) Once Kyoda and the others start too… Staff) Haven’t you been going to the sauna lately? Nobehara) I went… Nobehara) Just the other day. Shunta) Gocchandesu. Umeyama) Gocchandesu. Nobehara) Last week once, the week before… Nobehara) Three or four times that week. Staff) You’re going often. Nobehara) Yeah. Staff) Kotakiyama, your head is always neat. Kotakiyama) At the sumo school. Kotakiyama) They fix it for me. Staff) You’re fixed it at the school? Kotakiyama) Yes. Nobehara) Why do you eat so much, Wakamiyabi? Wakamiyabi) Because I want to get stronger. Wakamiyabi) It’d be nice if just eating made you stronger. Nobehara) Eating does make you stronger. If your body grows bigger— Nobehara) But you gotta train properly too. Staff) That’s true. Wakamiyabi) Then why do you eat so much, Nobehara? Nobehara) Because I lose weight in summer. Wakamiyabi) Yeah, that’s true. Nobehara) I just eat to maintain. Nobehara) Since I’m already strong. Wakamiyabi) Gocchandesu. Staff) Gocchandesu. Nobehara) Tsukioka, did you go for a second? Wakamiyabi) He just did. Nobehara) Second? Nobehara) What’s up? Wakamiyabi) What about you, Umeyama? Nobehara) Tsukioka weighed about 111 kg at lunch. Nobehara) If he hits 113, I’ll just call it his win. Wakamiyabi) Keiga, keep an eye on him. Nobehara) Umeyama, go get seconds. Umeyama) Okay. Nobehara) You’re too skinny. Umeyama) Yes. Staff) Do you also manage the others’ diets? Nobehara) Yeah, Oyakata told me to. Staff) He told you? Nobehara) Yeah, to keep an eye on them. Staff) Some of them lose too much weight? Nobehara) If you slack off because of summer fatigue, you’ll drop fast. Nobehara) If you give in and quit because it’s hard— Wakamiyabi) Can I go for more? Wakamiyabi) Can I? Nobehara) Yes, go ahead. Staff) Wow. Nobehara) He’s different. Nobehara) A man on the verge of becoming a sekitori is different. Wakamiyabi) Please don’t say that. Staff) Is it tough to eat this much every meal? Staff) Every meal tough? Staff) Like, you feel stuffed? Nobehara) Stuffed. Nobehara) I just eat until I’m full. Nobehara) But my appetite’s small. Staff) Small? Nobehara) I eat more than normal people, but among rikishi, it’s weak. Nobehara) I’m probably second weakest in the stable at eating. Staff) No way. Nobehara) Everyone else is strong eaters. Nobehara) Maybe just above Mita-zeki. Staff) I don’t think so. Staff) You look tanned. Staff) Really dark. Staff) Your face is dark. Staff) You had enough? Takahara) Not too much. I’m heading to the gym with Koga after this. Takahara) So I can’t overeat. Staff) You’re going with Koga? Takahara) Yeah, we always go. Staff) Really? Takahara) Every Saturday. Takahara) Last Saturday we went twice, noon and night. Staff) Why? Takahara) Because we want to get stronger together. Takahara) I think Koga will reach Sandanme soon. Takahara) We’re really doing the same training menu, side by side. Staff) Who’s stronger? Takahara) Well… yeah, it’s me. Takahara) Myself. Staff) You look hesitant. Takahara) We keep up with each other. Takahara) Or rather, I follow him, he follows me. About equal. Takahara) But at the gym— Takahara) He asks me to teach him. Takahara) There’s not much hierarchy there. Takahara) We just push each other. “Come on, one more!” Takahara) “You can do it!” Takahara) That’s how we train. Staff) Encouraging each other? Takahara) We even went yesterday. Takahara) Going today too, but tomorrow— Takahara) Koga’s busy, so… Takahara) Maybe the day after. Takahara) Tomorrow I’ll probably go alone or with someone else. Takahara) Koga just loves weight training now. Staff) Koga does? Takahara) Yeah, the captain. Staff) He didn’t used to go, right? Takahara) Yeah, before he said— Takahara) He didn’t really know what to do there. Takahara) Like, “I don’t know what exercises to do.” Takahara) That’s what he used to say. Takahara) Back when he went alone. Takahara) But I learned some routines in high school. Takahara) Now we do those together. Takahara) In a year or so— Takahara) Actually, we’ll see results in three months. Staff) Haven’t seen your smile in a while. Staff) You okay? Wakamiyabi) Why are you looking this way and laughing? Wakamiyabi) Was it good? Soma) Yeah, delicious. Wakamiyabi) It is tasty, huh. Shunta) I’m finished. Nobehara) Let’s see. Staff) Shunta, you’re spoiled. Umeyama) You okay? Nobehara) Everyone’s working hard to eat. Nobehara) If Shunta can eat pears, then he’s fine. Shunta) Not true. Keiga) I’m done. Staff) Good job. Nobehara) Put your hands together. Nobehara) Gocchandeshita. Everyone) Gocchandeshita.

    12. wakamiyabi and denuma are a really fun duo to watch! like denuma, my neutral face looks angry to others, so people will often assume i’m upset about something… i’m glad that wakamiyabi can tell denuma isn’t actually an angry person and jokes around with him as much as he does with everyone else. he brings a lot of levity to the stable! i hope everyone can stay in good health and good spirits!

    13. 梅ちゃん、今年の夏はプレジデント・アイランドに行ったってことですかね(分かる人には分かるネタ)

    14. ぬーさんとわかみーのわちゃわちゃが楽しい❤️
