フランスで暮らす大変さについて思うこと | 何をやってもうまくいかない時の楽しみの見つけ方

Home is where you make it. Today I think it will take a little longer for France to become my home.🙃 My visa will finally be renewed this month. Some personnel seem to ask us to submit documents other than the official ones, so we’re collecting the documents we think we’ll need. The irregularity that the content changes from person to person is already a regular occurrence over here. I don’t get used to this moderation. 🥄 I was busy last week preparing for my visa renewal, among other things. And a leak in the kitchen happened at the same time.😇 Why is it that the hardest and badest things always come in a big pile? To avoid having to wash up as much as possible, we eat the ready made food from the supermarket for dinner. The earliest a repair person can come is four days later, usually 10 days. The only consolation in bad luck is happened it before the holidays If it was happened during the holidays, the repairs would have been at the end of August. 🐱: Is this my food? France, where everything is rather slow. Even with Amazon Prime, it sometimes takes more than a week to arrive, so what is the definition of prime? Sometimes I think. These things can frustrate me. But having grown up in a country where everything is so convenient, where everything can be solved quickly, we seem to have forgotten how to “wait”, and we seem to lose patience. I’d like to think that the difficult things that happen at the same time and that I’m impatient but live in France is surely something to reassess in my daily life. Thinking about it makes me relax a little. Ume wants to be pampered for a long time when I need to go out 🐈‍⬛ 👩: Please wait at home too, Mimosa. A lovely patisserie that has recently opened. We can have lunch here too, so I’m having lunch with friends here. Fika is a Scandinavian custom I love and admire. “Take a good rest when you need it and refresh yourself” is the meaning and thought behind this word. It is often comforting to talk to Japanese friends about the difficulties of life in France, as they often understand. She has a personality that I don’t have and she always makes me laugh and gives me a new perspective., so the time goes by very quickly. What beautiful cakes🍰 Living in a country with a different language and culture uses a lot of energy for trivial things. I realise that the norm is not the norm, and I am often confused. When this happens, I take a break from it all, spend time with the people I love and enjoy and savour the moment. I can’t afford to enjoy the hard things, but if I can tell or share the hard things with someone I love, that’s what I can manage. I even got a little present from her. 👩: This is a soap called Mimosa. Good smell.🧼 “Go slow and keep calm” said an old Japanese great man.
