【 Singapore Vlog🇸🇬 】魅力溢れるシンガポールを大満喫する4泊5日の大人旅💕 グルメ・観光・ショッピング! お洒落で可愛い雑貨屋巡り🌴
Hello everyone! 🙂 We’re currently at Narita Airport. This time, we’re heading to Singapore for the first time, thanks to a collaboration between Klook and the Singapore Tourism Board. I hope this video will help you discover the charms of Singapore! 🙂 Excited to begin my journey, I boarded my first ZIPAIR flight! ZIPAIR offers affordable direct flights, allowing you to fully enjoy your travel experience. And with a direct flight from Japan taking about seven hours, with only a one-hour time difference, it’s an easy choice for a travel destination. 🙂 I was mesmerized by the sky bathed in beautiful light. I pre-ordered my in-flight meal in advance: butter chicken curry and spicy chicken rice. It’s also nice to be able to choose your own meal! And, to my delight, there was free in-flight Wi-Fi. I slept soundly and woke up to find we were already over Singapore. We landed at Singapore Changi International Airport 40 minutes earlier than scheduled. I immediately connected my eSIM using the Klook app. The setup was simple and the connection was instant, making it incredibly convenient! This time, I also booked my taxi (airport transfer) to the hotel through Klook. From eSIM cards and airport transfers to hotel and attraction tickets, Klook has everything you need for your trip. we’re waiting for my driver. Since it was late at night, the direct taxi ride to the hotel was both safe and comfortable. Suddenly, I saw Marina Bay Sands! I felt more strongly that I was in Singapore. I had booked two hotels for this trip, and tonight I was staying at a hotel in the Kampong Gilam area. The lobby had a lovely white-based European-style ambiance, blending Asian elements. Let’s go inside the room! A lovely stage bed was waiting for us. This hotel smelled wonderful from the lobby to our room. Since we were only staying for the night, we chose this hotel for its location and price, but it was so wonderful that it would have been a shame to stay just for a night’s stay We checked out early and headed to the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, which was one of our favorite hotels of the trip. The beautiful entrance really gets us in the mood! A beautiful orchid, Singapore’s national flower, stands in the center of the lobby. The hospitable and kind staff warmly welcomed us:) We were captivated by the elegant, high-quality space. Despite the early hour, they prepared a room for us, and we were delighted to be able to check in:) Wow, how wonderful! We were thrilled by the stunning view from the window! We’ll tell you more about the room later:) Today, we decided to style our outfit in all white. We arrived at Fort Canning Park, one of Singapore’s historic landmarks. The lush greenery everywhere is so pleasant! First, let’s have breakfast at this popular bakery cafe. This is a hugely popular bakery overseen by renowned French baker Gontran Cherrier. Rows of delicious-looking breads are lined up! Apparently, their croissants, baked every two hours daily using 100% French flour and butter, are absolutely delicious! The interior of the shop is stylish, open, and comfortable. After looking around at all the different items, I finally ordered some bread 🙂 Apparently Tiong Bahru Bakery is particular about their coffee. The latte art carefully drawn by the baristas is amazing! Now, let’s enjoy our first meal in Singapore 🙂 First up is the nut butter croissant… It’s flaky and full of butter flavor! The inside is chewy! The crunchy almonds and rich nut butter are irresistible…!! Apparently the “Kouign Amann” is just as popular as the croissant. The outside is crunchy with caramel! This was my first time trying such a delicious kouign amann! The staff also recommended a bread made with Singapore’s traditional pandan cream:) The simple sweetness of the cream, crispy coconut flakes, and rich camel sauce were irresistible…! Finally, I chose the chocolate kouign amann out of curiosity:) I was surprised at how much tastier it was than I expected😳 The balance of sweet and bitter chocolate was exquisite, and the more I ate, the more I appreciated the difference! I could see why it was so popular, with customers arriving early in the morning:) It’s a wonderful start to a wonderful trip! The idyllic view from the window was soothing. If you ever come to Singapore, be sure to stop by this cafe! We came across St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Singapore’s largest cathedral. After walking for a while, we came across the Raffles Hotel, said to be Singapore’s most famous hotel. We were awed by its gleaming white exterior as we entered the hotel… The lush garden, filled with beautiful tropical trees, was so beautiful it made us forget we were in the city. The hotel restaurant also serves afternoon tea. The courtyard features a beautiful Victorian-style fountain… The fresh air created a truly elegant atmosphere. Enjoying the courtyard view, we headed toward the destination we’d come to. Next, we headed to Long Bar, the birthplace of the world-famous Singapore Sling, for a delicious cocktail! We grabbed our drink tickets purchased in advance through the Klook app and headed inside…! The bar’s interior exudes a classic, historic atmosphere. Watching the bartender prepare our drinks was like a performance—it was amazing! He was about to make our Singapore Sling. The Singapore Sling is made with dry gin, pineapple juice, cherry brandy, lemon juice, and other ingredients. It’s sweet and fruity, with a refreshing taste that I think anyone would enjoy. Having a drink in the birthplace of the Singapore Sling is exceptional! And peanuts are a must-have at Long Bar! 🥜 Every table is equipped with a burlap sack full of peanuts. Interestingly, it’s a Long Bar tradition to throw the peanut shells on the floor. 🙂 Looking around the bar, I saw a ton of peanut shells on the floor. Experiencing the unique style of each country and bar is one of the joys of travel. 🙂 Looking up at the ceiling, I noticed a charming, retro fan. We relaxed in this lovely atmosphere for a while. 🙂 It was a wonderful experience enjoying an authentic Singapore Sling in the historic Long Bar. Looking closely at the mural near the bar, I saw a painting of people eating peanuts at Long Bar… 🥜 Next, let’s head to Raffles Boutique to look for souvenirs! A beautiful bag of kaya jam caught my eye. Their famous kaya jam makes a great souvenir. 🙂 This is peanut butter. And the bag is especially cute. 🙂 There were also Long Bar peanuts. Apparently, they contain the finest premium peanuts roasted using Long Bar’s unique method. There were plenty of other sweets in lovely boxes:) Here are pineapple tarts and pandan kaya tarts. There was also a cookie tin with the beautiful facade of Raffles. Further inside, there were stylish interior goods. They have a wide selection of stylish miscellaneous goods with designs that seem to mix European and Asian styles. This is a soap dish from Raffles Hotel. The colors on this soap dispenser are lovely! The pineapple items were also cute:) There were also several items with a bee motif, which is said to bring good luck. 🐝 Every item was beautifully colored, and they were all unique and novel, featuring plants and animals, making them fun to look at. Here, we also found Peranakan tableware, Singapore’s traditional tableware. Apparently, Peranakan tableware is characterized by its vibrant colors and auspicious designs such as phoenixes and peonies. The more I look, the more beautiful it becomes… I found an original Raffles Hotel tote bag! The design is beautiful, but it’s also incredibly well-made. There’s a wide selection of resort dresses here, perfect for a tropical getaway. The botanical print is refreshing and lovely! It’s nice to wear something a little different when traveling! They also had the famous Singapore Sling and original Long Bar glasses. We decided to buy some Raffles-exclusive souvenirs. My mother, who loves pineapple, was curious to try this tart. 🙂 The staff gave us lots of lovely stickers! I’m sure my friend will be delighted, too. 🙂 The lush gardens were all pure and beautiful, with the breeze, light, and sound. Next, we headed to the museum. For lunch, we made a reservation at a popular restaurant inside the museum . This restaurant, overseen by renowned Singaporean food expert Violet Oon, serves authentic Singaporean and Peranakan cuisine. The interior features a large chandelier, creating a classical atmosphere. The Peranakan tiles covering the walls are also beautiful. While we were enjoying the atmosphere, our food arrived in no time. We started with the “Kueh Pie Tee,” a dish with a sweet, mitarashi-like sauce . My mother and I were nervous about trying Peranakan food for the first time, but it had a familiar Japanese flavor! The crispy, cup-shaped pie was filled with stewed vegetables, bamboo shoots, shrimp, and more. The spicy paste made it even more delicious. Next was the popular “Dry Laksa.” It’s a soupless version of the signature laksa, but it’s richly seasoned and packed with the delicious flavor of seafood. It also had a strong spiciness that made it addictive. Finally, we tried the squid dish “Sotong Rempah Titek,” recommended by the staff. The squid was stuffed with a blend of minced meat and shrimp and topped with a rich Peranakan sauce. My mother was surprised by how spicy it was. 🤭 The squid was very tender, and the flavor filled her mouth with every bite. 🙂 It was my first time trying Peranakan food, and every dish was delicious and I was very satisfied! And best of all, the elegant space was so beautiful, I was mesmerized… 🙂 As we were leaving the restaurant, the staff surprised my mother with a birthday present…! Happy birthday again! We had Violet Oon’s signature cake. 🙂 The cake, made from tapioca, was richly sweet and chewy! The wonderful space, delicious food, and warm hospitality made it a very special time. 🙂 After enjoying our meal, we went to see Singapore’s national symbol, the Merlion! Merlion Park was bustling with tourists. Everyone was taking commemorative photos with the Merlion in their own unique poses:) Looking at it closely, it started to look quite cute:) Right in front of the Merlion was the gigantic Marina Bay Sands…! We took a photo with the adorable Merlion ice cream:) We even held it in our hands…🤭 When we returned to the hotel, the Mandarin Oriental staff had prepared a birthday cake for my mother! How wonderful…! Thank you so much to everyone at Mandarin Oriental Singapore! We were so grateful and happy to be here just as my mother turned 60:) Incidentally, Singapore is also celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. We feel a special connection to Singapore:) Next, we headed to Gardens by the Bay, Singapore’s largest futuristic botanical garden. We were greeted by a giant Supertree. Since we’d already purchased our tickets through Klook, we were able to skip the ticket line and enter smoothly. Let’s start with the Cloud Forest! The view of the world’s largest indoor waterfall, cascading 35 meters, is breathtaking! The Cloud Forest boasts approximately 70,000 plants from 2,660 different species from around the world. During the Jurassic World collaboration, a life-size dinosaur lurks in the forest! The mystical scenery surrounded by plants from around the world is truly breathtaking. We then moved on to the Cloud Walk, an aerial walkway. The view of Singapore visible through the giant dome windows was also stunning. The sound of the waterfall echoing throughout the dome was soothing, creating an oasis-like atmosphere. We then moved on to the Flower Dome, recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest glass greenhouse. Inside this enormous dome, plants and flowers from all five continents are cultivated. The vibrant blooms of the flowers truly lifted my spirits. There were over 15,000 beautiful roses! The wonderful scent of flowers enveloped me, soothing both body and soul. Finally, let’s head to Supertree Grove, the place I was most looking forward to! Right in front of us were gigantic Supertrees towering high into the sky! There were 18 giant Supertrees, ranging in height from 25m to 50m, and the more you look at them, the more mysterious they become, as if the trees are breathing and alive 🙂 The view in the evening is also beautiful, but I would like to come back in the morning to see the Supertrees towering against the blue sky. I visited the gift shop inside the park. They had some cute sweets with Supertree designs 🙂 And here is a handbag with a vivid image of Gardens by the Bay. There were also objects, cards, and accessories using the national flower, the orchid. Finally, we went to a Starbucks in the park to look for something special… and it seems my mom found the item she was looking for:) It’s a Merlion Bearista plush toy, exclusive to Starbucks in Singapore. The Merlion Bearista’s round eyes are so cute…! Since coming to Singapore, we’ve become obsessed with Merlions. 😊 My mom decided to buy the plush toy as a souvenir and the keychain for herself. We didn’t order any drinks or food, but there were lots of new and interesting things you won’t find in Japan! It’s always fun to check out Starbucks when you travel:) I’m glad my mom found what she was looking for:) As the sun went down and it cooled down, we walked to the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall. There are apparently over 200 stores here, ranging from luxury brands to local brands, and every shop was bustling with activity. While TWG is a Singapore staple, tonight we went to Basha Coffee, a high-end coffee shop from Morocco. Enjoy premium coffee in a gorgeous, exotic space:) Not only is the atmosphere wonderful, but even the menu is wonderful! Basha Coffee apparently offers over 200 types of coffee. The exquisite aroma of high-quality coffee wafts from the luxurious gold pot! Food is brought out one after another, presented on beautiful plates. We toast in beautiful cups! We ordered their signature coffee, “1910.” It’s so refreshing and fruity! The perfect summer flavor! We dipped the crispy churros in plenty of chocolate:) I was surprised by the delicious mango cream inside the croissant! The coffee came with plenty of vanilla bean cream instead of milk. The cream added a mellow flavor and was very delicious:) After tea, let’s do some shopping at the shop next door. Not only the coffee, but the sweets and goods are all lovely and eye-catching:) There was also a shopping bag like this. The elegant green case caught my eye. A lovely aroma of berries and nuts wafts from inside the can! We also really liked the name “I love Paris,” which is inspired by the streets of Paris. The signature saffron orange tin is also lovely. They were all so lovely, it was hard to choose! 🤭 We bought a few for ourselves and some as gifts. Even the paper bags are gorgeous! Just holding one of them makes us feel good. We returned to Gardens by the Bay. The “Garden Rhapsody” Supertree light show, held twice a night and free to watch, began! We were thrilled to see the Supertrees’ completely different appearance from daytime…! The Supertrees shining against the night sky were truly breathtaking. We felt like we had entered a fantasy world. I’m sure many of you were captivated by Singapore’s magnificent night…! The Supertrees emitted aurora-like light…! Today, we were lucky enough to see the special version, “BOREALIS.” It was a wonderful experience, almost like being transported to a movie world. Still basking in the afterglow of the wonderful show, we walked back to the hotel for about 30 minutes. I’d like to give you a quick room tour now 🙂 There was a lovely minibar on a beautiful shelf. TWG tea was prepared on the shelf. The cup and saucer designs were also lovely! There were some snacks in the drawer below. The hotel’s original snacks were stylishly packaged and intriguing 🙂 Next, we went to the bathroom at the back… The marble counter was beautiful… In the drawer, amenities were stored in stylish boxes. There were bath salts as well. The shampoos were by Diptyque. There was a closet in front of the bathroom. This bathrobe was lovely…! The cutely embroidered drawstring bag contained an iron and a hair dryer. Then, when I opened the next door… I found a really lovely bag. We were told we could use it freely throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the hotel’s thoughtful hospitality. And above all, the view from our room was amazing! Tonight, we enjoyed a wonderful cake prepared by the hotel staff. It was delicious, of course, but we were overwhelmed by the hotel’s thoughtfulness! It’s only our second day, but we’ve already fallen in love with this city. I’m looking forward to enjoying my trip to Singapore with my mother again tomorrow. The sky is calm again today. My Sézane polka dot pants look great. Today, I coordinated my outfit with my mother, wearing all brown. Let’s enjoy today! First, we headed to a long-established cafe for breakfast . We arrived in Katong, a city teeming with Peranakan culture . We started with their famous kaya toast at this long-established coffee shop, founded in 1925. The retro atmosphere is lovely. We started with kopi and a boiled egg to dip in. This cafe is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, so they also had a limited-time menu. Let’s enjoy a traditional Singaporean breakfast! It’s delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness and richness! “Kopi” is a Singaporean coffee made by adding condensed milk to black coffee. Next, I tried the “Kaya Toast,” which I’d been looking forward to . It’s a soft-boiled egg topped with dark sauce, which is then dipped in toast. The golden brown toast is topped with a generous amount of kaya jam and butter. Dip it in the egg and enjoy! 🙂 Mmm, delicious! The crispy bread, the gentle sweetness of the kaya jam, and the salty butter are irresistible…! The egg dipped in the toast makes the flavor even more mellow and delicious! 🙂 Next, I tried the “Peanut Butter French Toast,” a 100th-anniversary exclusive. Peanut butter is sandwiched between thick slices of toast. It looks so delicious, I’m excited! 🙂 The delicious flavor spreads in my mouth with every bite, making me feel happy! I was able to experience the flavors of Singapore in a local atmosphere. The Katong area is full of colorful buildings, and just walking around is fun. Next, we went to a restaurant recommended by our taxi driver this morning. Their specialty, the curry puffs, were so delicious we decided to try them. I was excited to see what they’d taste like! They were bigger and heavier than I’d imagined. The puffs were filled with potato and chicken curry…! The puffs were flaky, and the more I ate, the more delicious they became! This family-run business apparently makes all of its curry puffs by hand, following its grandmother’s recipe. They even contain eggs! As expected, locals are always reliable! It suddenly started raining, but drastic daytime weather changes seem to be a characteristic of Singapore. Let’s take a stroll around the Joo Chiat area, lined with charming shops! Let’s start with this one! LA TIENDA offers a selection of charming items carefully selected by the owner from India, Bali, Europe, and more. The handkerchiefs, featuring the traditional Indian craft of block printing, were particularly eye-catching. There were also pouches made from the same Indian fabric. All the patterns are lovely. There was tableware with unique designs lined up here. It was so much fun, seeing so many new things! There was also a painting of the Raffles Hotel, which I visited yesterday. It seems like there are lots of lovely items on those shelves too…! There were adorable pajamas made from Indian fabric lined up. Wow, so lovely! We love the soft colors 🙂 Even the bags they were stored in were stylish. There were also pouches, drawstring bags, and glasses cases with lovely patterns. The store was filled with so many charming items, it was an exciting place to be! The walls were lined with gorgeous summer dresses and skirts. I couldn’t help but feel excited by these wonderful clothes, perfect for Singapore, a country with perpetual summer…! There was also a lovely bag perfect for summer. I even received a gift from the store…! The shopper was so lovely…! Everyone, please stop by this store if you come to Singapore 🙂 Let’s check out this interior design shop next! I really like this bonus gift…! The warm and elegant space is lined with items carefully selected by the owner from all over the world! The glass cups are so summery 🙂 This brown cup is lovely too! There was also a cute shell-shaped clip. We both fell in love at first sight with one item 🙂 It’s a flower vase and candle holder from the Belgian brand “POMAX.” The camel and brown pattern is lovely…! Because it’s blown glass, no two pieces are alike, and we were also drawn to the fact that each one is unique. Wow, so lovely…! There are so many wonderful items lined up with tropical colors that will make you feel like you’re in a tropical country. So lovely! I found a cute pouch. It seems to be a set of three. The fabric is very soft, and the soft colors are lovely 🙂 There are so many interesting items in the store that I couldn’t even look at them all… My eye was drawn to the notebooks with fish illustrations lined up on the counter. Even the paper is carefully crafted—what a wonderful notebook! 🙂 This hanging hook is stylish, too! Each item carefully selected by the owner is so beautiful, we had a hard time deciding between them! 🙂 After much deliberation, we both decided to purchase this vase, which we were both drawn to. Each one has a different pattern, so we carefully select the one that appeals to us. 🙂 We also decided to purchase a brown glass cup. The owner told us, “You really love brown!” 🤭 There were so many stylish items in the store that we can’t even begin to introduce them all. The shop staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a wonderful shop. 🙂 We came across the “Phra Kanan House,” with its gorgeous pastel colors. Peranakan architecture is said to be a fusion of Chinese, Southeast Asian, and Western cultures. Looking closely, we noticed floral inscriptions embedded in the walls, and the more we looked, the more intriguing and beautiful it became. After seeing the beautiful architecture, we headed to our other target shop… It seems we’ll find plenty of other wonderful items here too! The cute, retro packaging seems to contain soap. The eye-catching stone jewelry is also lovely and perfect for summer! There are some lovely clothes here. This dress from Greek Archaic Kori is so lovely…! The elegant color, silhouette, and intricate decorations are captivating. Wow, this bag is lovely too! The items you pick up change when you’re traveling, don’t you? 🙂 Since coming to Singapore, we’ve been drawn to refreshing colors and botanical prints. This uniquely patterned shirt looks great with black pants. 🙂 There were also plenty of raffia and jute bags. They also had a bag from the Belgian brand Dragon Diffusion, which my mom always checks out. The green color is lovely! We also found an item we found during our trip to London here! Bonnesoeur is a French brand, and they offer a wide selection of charming items with a unique atmosphere. We’re excited to have found our favorite brand again! 🙂 Going further into the store, there were plenty of unique and adorable items! I was captivated by the unique items, featuring plant and animal motifs that are so distinctively Singaporean:) My mother was so intent on choosing one that she was determined to buy it this time! 🤭 I was drawn to the mysterious atmosphere, which is hard to describe. After much deliberation, we decided to buy two trays. This shop’s paper bags were also very beautiful! Finally, we stopped by this shop. Photography inside the shop was not allowed, but it was a very nice shop, so I definitely recommend it! We had a wonderful time browsing stylish shops while looking at the beautiful cityscape:) After enjoying our shopping, we had lunch at this restaurant. A staff member who had lived in Japan served our table:) Wow, the aroma was delicious! The staff served us so carefully, so I’m sure it was delicious:) We asked the staff for recommendations and ordered the lunch set. Freshly baked bread smothered in ricotta cheese cream. Mmm, from the very first dish, it was absolutely good! The chewy and elastic burrata melted in my mouth. The tomatoes, despite their simple seasoning, were surprisingly delicious. The delicious aroma of truffles and porcini mushrooms wafted through the air. My mother was so thrilled by the deliciousness 🤭 We also tried the pizza! Mmm, even the last pizza was delicious! The restaurant’s special oil added a touch of spiciness, which was also delicious. Everything was so delicious that it moved us to tears, making us feel truly happy 🙂 We also never expected to meet someone familiar with Japan in Singapore, so we ended up chatting at length 🙂 The staff were all so friendly, we were smiling the whole time 🙂 Suddenly, the staff gathered together for a big surprise..‼︎😳 They congratulated my mother, who seemed surprised but happy 😆 Thanks to the wonderful staff, it was a heartwarming and happy moment! We hope to see you again! Next, we explored Singapore’s Chinatown. Apparently, Chinatown is home to many murals depicting the city’s history and culture. It’s fascinating to look closely at the details 🙂 We visited the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum, a complex of Buddhist temples and museums. This temple is said to be Singapore’s most powerful spiritual spot, and it’s said that the tooth of Buddha is enshrined there. Let’s enter the main hall. A golden Maitreya statue stands at the front. More than 100 Buddha statues are enshrined on the left and right walls. Everywhere you look, it’s dazzling and beautiful. Surrounded by this magnificent space, I felt as if I was receiving a tremendous amount of energy. We arrived at Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapore’s oldest Hindu temple. The roof of the tower gate is seamlessly carved with Hindu deities. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Mariamman, known for her powers to heal illnesses and ailments. After touring the temples, we stopped by a general store that had caught my eye. Inside, we found a selection of uniquely designed plates and cups. A lovely marble-patterned plate caught my eye. This cup was also cute:) I also found plates from Astier’s sister brand, CARRON. All of the items selected by this shop were wonderful 🙂 Next, I visited a popular vintage shop in Singapore to find a unique piece that caught my eye. The store was filled with an amazing number of high-end vintage items…! There were also many new designs. This small handbag was cute 🙂 I also found a lovely Hermès shirt. This shop also has many rare items, all in good condition. On the upper floor, there was a space dedicated to Chanel items. There were rows of luxurious and elegant items lined up…! Just looking at them made my heart flutter – it was a wonderful shop! And the view from the shop window was beautiful. I arrived at the ticket counter for the Singapore River Cruise. I had purchased my ticket through Klook, so redemption was very smooth 🙂 This cruise will take you on a traditional Singapore “bumboat” and take you around historical and popular sights. The approximately 40-minute boat journey began:) No matter how old you are, this kind of activity is exciting…! The sun began to set, casting a beautiful light in the sky… I was captivated by the cityscape bathed in gentle light. Here, a magnificent view of futuristic skyscrapers stretched out before me. This was the Fullerton Hotel, a historic building converted into a hotel. As we passed under the bridge, Marina Bay Sands came into view in the distance How wonderful! The Merlion looked so brave from the boat:) The boat reached its turning point… As the sun set, Marina Bay, enveloped in a pale sky, took on an even more romantic appearance… Marina Bay Sands lit by the setting sun…! It was like watching a movie on a big screen. The magnificent view of Singapore, where history and modernity blend together. I forgot about my daily life and was simply captivated by this beautiful scenery. Singapore is beautiful everywhere you look. I was once again filled with gratitude for being in this wonderful country… We returned to the hotel and then went to Lau Pa Sat, Singapore’s historic food court. This hawker center boasts approximately 60 food stalls and 2,500 seats. Many people enjoy dining in its beautiful Victorian-style architecture, built in the 19th century . We were curious about each restaurant, but first we searched for our favorite. We found it! Their chicken rice is said to be excellent, so we decided to give it a try. We are excited to try chicken rice for the first time…! I wondered how it would taste? My mother’s eyes were wide open. So, I decided to give it a try. Mmm! Delicious!! The moist chicken and the flavorful rice were amazing…! It was so delicious that both my mother and I couldn’t stop eating… 🤭 I’m so glad I discovered this deliciousness. We returned to the hotel, enjoying the spectacular night view once again. Today, we had breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant , “embu.” The open and refreshing atmosphere offered a wide variety of Singaporean and international cuisine. Let’s start with a colorful selection of fresh fruits:) 100% fruit juices, including orange, apple, and mango. 🍊 The pastry corner had a wide selection of delicious breads and baked goods! The hotel’s “Kaya Toast” was thick and delicious! Apparently, you can make your own laksa with your favorite ingredients! I’ll give it a try tomorrow:) The salad corner had fresh vegetables and delicious-looking cold pasta. The smoked salmon, ham, and bacon looked high-quality and delicious:) They also had a wide selection of cheeses and crackers. Going further in, there was a wide selection of hot dishes! They even had authentic Indian and Chinese cuisine. Here, the chef was making pancakes for the kids:) I ordered waffles. The aroma of freshly baked waffles was amazing! They all looked so delicious, I couldn’t stop thinking about which one to try:) Let’s eat! The freshly baked waffles were so crispy! The subtle sweetness was irresistible:) The salad, cheese, and fruit all tasted of high-quality ingredients. The large windows offered a storm-like view… While keeping an eye on the weather, I was engrossed in my delicious breakfast. 🤭 Since I was there, I decided to try a few more of the foods I was interested in. There was a wide selection of yogurt, cut fruit, and milk. There was also a wide selection of nuts, granola, and dried fruit. My plate always ended up full at the hotel buffet, with so many things I wanted to try. 🤭 The thick-sliced kaya toast was also delicious, with a rich buttery flavor! I forgot about the weather and enjoyed the meal to my heart’s content. 🙂 I changed my morning plans and decided to take a stroll around the hotel. Looking up, I was greeted by a magnificent, open, and beautiful view. And the orchids displayed throughout the hotel were soothing just to look at. 🙂 Next to the lobby was a lovely cafe and merchandise shop. Those tea tins are so pretty! The cups are lovely, too! There were also delicious-looking cookies, breads, and a cake commemorating Singapore’s 60th anniversary on the counter. The hotel’s original tea has a beautifully packaged design:) Each flavor is richly fragrant, making it a perfect souvenir. There were green tea cookies in a cute tin. There were also gorgeous mooncakes, available only during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Just looking at the Mandarin Oriental’s signature fan-shaped sweets makes my heart flutter:) This fan is lovely, too! There were also different colors of the tote bag provided in the room. And, there was this adorable lion plush toy! 🧸 They were all lovely, but I decided to buy the original tea. Even the shopper was stylish, which really lifted my spirits:) The view overlooking the hotel from the hallway was also beautiful. The rainy Singapore scenery is truly mystical. Today, I’m planning on afternoon tea and a bar, so I’m conscious of my outfit:) The rain cleared just in time, revealing a clear blue sky through the gaps in the clouds. I arrived in the Orchard area, home to Singapore’s famous department stores and shopping malls. First, we entered the building for afternoon tea. We arrived at the cafe of Cedric Grolet, a world-famous patisserie with its flagship store in Paris and not yet in Japan. The ceiling is a captivating artistic space! The counter is lined with beautiful cakes created by award-winning French pastry chef Cedric Grolet. The croissants I wanted were sold out by mid-morning… I’d always wanted to visit, and when I found out that the only shop in Asia was in Singapore, I made a reservation. Today, I finally got to enjoy afternoon tea here:) A stand decorated with beautiful cakes was brought out…! The staff even prepared a lovely birthday gift for my mother! Since coming to Singapore, my mother and I have received so many birthday celebrations, and each visit brings a warm feeling. Let’s start with the sandwiches 🙂 Simple yet somehow delicious…! Nervously, we carefully transfer the cakes to plates 🤭 We are intrigued by the cakes that represent real fruits and flowers 🙂 The white cake has smooth cream that melts in your mouth and tastes just like shortcake…! Next is the strawberry cake. It is filled with a sweet and sour strawberry sauce 🙂 This is the apricot cake. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it also has a complex and wonderful flavor that is sure to impress. We slowly savored the cakes, which had flavors beyond our imagination and unique appearances 🙂 It was a fun time that kept us excited until the very end. After enjoying afternoon tea, we headed to our next destination… Next, let’s enter this building that towers high into the sky…! We stepped into the magnificent space of ATLAS, which has been named one of the “World’s 50 Best Bars” 🙂 In the center is the famous 15-meter-tall gin tower! Apparently, there are approximately 1,400 different types of gin on display! It’s like being transported to a movie world. The menu includes cocktails made with gins from around the world, non-alcoholic mocktails, coffee, tea, and afternoon tea. The atmosphere is lovely, but the bartenders’ crafting of drinks is captivating. A delicious mocktail was brought to my mother, whose eyes widened in shock at how delicious it was. 🤭 It had a complex flavor, combining the sweetness of berries with the freshness of basil. This one also combined berries, rosemary, and ginger for an exquisite balance of sweet and spicy. The more I drank, the more I became captivated. 🙂 I felt so elegant that I couldn’t help but sigh. Even the fries we ordered at the end were impeccably delicious—I couldn’t stop eating them! We thoroughly enjoyed the unique world of ATLAS. Finally, we climbed the stairs to the second floor… The view was beyond imagination. It was a truly memorable and wonderful experience from our trip. We went back to the hotel and then to Marina Bay Sands. We headed to the SkyPark Observation Deck on the 56th floor…! We had already booked our tickets through Klook, so we headed straight to the entrance gate. The eSIM worked very well, and Klook really helped us out on this trip 🙂 What a lovely smile…! It really gave me energy 🙂 We took the elevator to the 56th floor… and it felt like we were at the tip of the Marina Bay Sands ship…! Let’s enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Singapore! To the east, we can see the world’s largest port, Singapore. The view of the Supertrees from above is also fascinating. Apparently, the National Stadium is in the background on the left… Wherever you look, lush greenery spreads out, truly a garden city…! Finally, we took in the view of Marina Bay… The magnificent view of Marina Bay sparkling in the sunlight and modern skyscrapers stretching out before us spread out before us. It was a moment to rediscover the beauty of this vibrant metropolis, Singapore. After much deliberation, we finally bought a commemorative photo! 🤭 Even when we travel, we rarely get to take photos together, so this was a precious memory. 🙂 Next, we headed to the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall. Of course, our main goal today was TWG, the Singaporean tea brand. Since there was a line at the cafe, we went to the tea boutique to look for souvenirs. The luxurious, classic interior featured a wide variety of the finest teas from 36 countries around the world. The shelves were lined with beautiful tea caddies…! I’m looking forward to shopping here! 🙂 The lovely lion packaging caught my eye. It’s “Singapore Breakfast Tea,” named after Singapore. It seems to be a very popular souvenir. This green tea is a blend of rich tropical fruits. The aroma was even more wonderful than I imagined, and we both decided on it immediately! The “Haute Couture Tin” collection has a lovely tea leaf-inspired packaging. Wow, this smells so good… so cute! They’re called “TEA TEDDIES,” and they can be made into tea by pouring hot water over them, or eaten as gummy candy. I decided to buy a few. I also chose some as souvenirs for friends. 🙂 They’re all so lovely, it’s hard to choose… 🙂 The friendly staff spoke to us and introduced us to a variety of teas. I loved every single one of the staff’s recommendations… And, as it turns out, the staff member’s brother lives in Japan, so we had a great time chatting! 🙂 There was a cute box with 15 flavors to choose from. The TWG original glass straws are also lovely! We also had an original TWG tote bag 🙂 According to the staff, this item isn’t available in Japan, so we’d like to give it to three viewers as a gift 🙂 It’s a small gift, but we hope they’ll enjoy it! (Please see the comments section for details on how to enter.) Finally, we were introduced to the recommended tea leaves in the tea caddy. The passion fruit and strawberry were fragrant, with a strong sweet and sour taste, while the tea leaves here exuded a delicate, sweet aroma. While the shop may have seemed intimidating at first glance, the staff were cheerful, friendly, and helpful. We had a memorable time, filled with laughter throughout the entire experience, even while choosing our tea. It was great to meet the wonderful TWG team! Thank you so much! We hope to see you again soon 🙂 Next time you visit TWG, be sure to visit the Marina Bay Sands branch! The show at Marina Bay is about to begin, so the venue was packed with people. The show, which is currently being held twice a night (three times on Fridays and Saturdays) and is free to watch, is incredibly popular! While the video uses music I imagined rather than actual sound, I hope it conveys the charm of this amazing show to everyone! We’re strolling along Marina Bay, still basking in the afterglow of the show. Tonight is our last night in Singapore, so we came to see the Merlion . It’s sad to think we’ll be saying goodbye to this view we’ve seen every day, but I think the ending makes the moment even more beautiful and precious. Singapore, the city of lions, is bustling with energy, and I can’t believe there’s such a beautiful, shining country…! It’s our last day. First, we head to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Today, we’re going to eat laksa, which I’ve been looking forward to. 🙂 I always knew I had to eat laksa when I came to Singapore, but it’s already our last day. 🙂 We hand over our favorite toppings, and the chef prepares them for us. Just watching is exciting! It looks so delicious! My mother is serving porridge at a counter lined with Chinese food. There’s a wide variety of side dishes. Next, we head to the dim sum section. Wow, the aroma is delicious! We decide to try each one. Let’s eat! It doesn’t look like breakfast, but it looks delicious. I wonder how the laksa tastes, my first time trying it? Mmm, delicious!! The chewy noodles are coated in a creamy soup, and it’s irresistible! The porridge is glossy. The dim sum has an authentic flavor, as expected. Everything I ate was delicious! I returned to my room. On my last day, the weather was perfect, and the view was amazing…! I decided to go to Gardens by the Bay for my morning walk. Since I was there, I decided to take a leisurely stroll through the lush greenery of Singapore. 🙂 I headed to the Gardens by the Bay area from the bus stop near the hotel , enjoying the view as I walked toward the Supertrees. 🙂 In the distance, I could see the Singapore Flyer, one of the world’s largest observation wheels. The lush, green leaves softened the sunlight like a curtain. 🙂 What a refreshing, invigorating morning. Finally, the Supertrees came into view in the distance. The first day was cloudy, so I’m glad it’s sunny today! Saying hello to two lions, we head toward the Supertrees. The view was so beautiful I couldn’t help but applaud. 👏🏻 The Supertrees towering high against the blue sky are truly spectacular. They seem to have life and breath. I felt like I was given a great boost of energy We’re checking out now and heading to Kampong Gilam. Since my ZIPAIR flight departs late at night, I’m very happy to be able to enjoy my last day here. I tried to go with an Arabian vibe today . The room I stayed in for four days was really nice and comfortable, and I’m saying goodbye to this amazing view I’ve been looking at every day. Thank you so much! I hope to see you again! We’re heading toward Kampong Gilam. The scenery is gradually changing, making me feel like I’m in a different country. We’ve arrived in Kampong Gilam, exotic in style. In the background is the Sultan Mosque, Singapore’s largest Islamic mosque. Turkish lamps glittered all over the ceiling… 🙂 Gorgeous Persian carpets lined the streets. Exotic shops lined the streets, creating a truly Arabian atmosphere. And then I found this adorable mural. I entered a famous perfume specialty store. The dimly lit interior exuded a unique atmosphere, and rows of vintage-looking perfume bottles lined the shelves. Apparently, the store boasts over 500 fragrances from around the world… I expected to find many unique scents, but surprisingly, there were many lovely scents suitable for everyday use. The staff introduced me to a variety of scents:) I struggled to choose from the many scents I liked, but I ended up choosing “Eiffel,” a refreshing fragrance of French jasmine. There were also some beautiful, sparkling items on the counter… This container is apparently a special case for aroma oils. The one-of-a-kind aroma cases were also appealing. The scents you encounter on your travels become even more memorable and special. The staff member was so lovely, and just talking to her soothed my soul. She was a little shy, but still allowed me to take photos. Meeting new people is one of the charms of traveling…! Feeling refreshed, we headed to our next destination… Looking around, we saw a row of restaurants serving authentic Arabic and Turkish cuisine. Suddenly, a cheerful waiter called out to us from inside a store. 🤭 Turkish ice cream! Since we were there, we decided to try it. The hilarious staff began their ice cream performance. 🤭 My mother tried it next. 🤭 I was excited to see what kind of technique he would pull off next! Thanks to the entertaining performance, we forgot about the heat and laughed a lot. 🙂 The rich yet refreshing milk flavor was irresistible…! We happened upon this shop, but both the flavor and the performance were amazing. 🙂 We walked down a small alleyway and found photogenic wall art covering the entire wall! We continued walking to Little India and had lunch at a restaurant in our hotel. We went to GupShup, an Indian restaurant in Little India. We were attracted by the stylish interior and made a reservation, and it was absolutely beautiful! 🙂 The appetizers arrived, and the rich cheese flavor and crispy texture were so delicious, we couldn’t stop eating… 🙂 We ordered tandoori chicken and a lunch set . The lunch set dishes were presented on an afternoon tea-like stand. Let’s eat! We were both surprised by how delicious the mango lassi was. 🙂 What about the curry? The rice was fluffy and delicious! The tandoori chicken curry was filled with large chunks of chicken. This spinach curry looks rich. We also tried the popular tandoori chicken. 🙂 My mother actually loves curry, and she seemed so happy with how delicious it was. 🙂 Despite the complex spices, it was very mild with just the right amount of spiciness…! The tandoori chicken was also tender and delicious! This may have been the first time I’ve ever had such delicious curry… I’m so glad I chose this place for my last meal in Singapore 🙂 The staff even gave my mother a lovely cake…👏🏻 And, though they were a little embarrassed, they sang a birthday song for her 🙂 During our stay, my mother’s 60th birthday was celebrated at various restaurants, and I was able to experience the warmth of the Singaporean people. I checked the “birthday” box when I made the reservation, but I didn’t expect such a wonderful surprise at the end, so I was stopped several times when I tried to leave🤭 Congratulations on my mother’s 60th birthday and Singapore’s 60th anniversary! 🙂 Finally, we visited Singapore’s most powerful power spot, the Fountain of Wealth. We took in this fantastic view and received positive energy from the vibrant city! We headed to the airport in a Klook airport transfer taxi. The Klook app made our trip even more fulfilling. If you visit Singapore, be sure to try out the amazing activities introduced in this video. And, there are limited-time discount coupons, so if you’re considering a trip, be sure to check them out! I hope this video will inspire you to travel and make your trip even more wonderful 🙂 Before leaving, I went inside Jewel to see the amazing view of Singapore…! The world’s longest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, was right in front of me…! How beautiful… It was a moment that made me realize once again how wonderful Singapore is. I hope you all will make Singapore your next trip…! Thank you for watching until the end. I hope to see you again 🙂 And have a lovely day💐
