Mouthwatering Sardines | How to make Sardines in Air Fryer

Ingredients:
500 grams fresh sardines, cleaned and gutted
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 lemon, sliced
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Prepare the Sardines:
Rinse the sardines under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of dried oregano.
Add the sardines to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your (Philips XXL) Air Fryer to 200°C (390°F) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Sardines:
Place the marinated sardines in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
Set the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) and cook for 10 minutes, or until the sardines are crispy and golden brown. Shake the basket halfway through the cooking time for even crisping.

Serve:
Transfer the crispy sardines to a serving plate.
Garnish with fresh lemon slices and chopped parsley.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious, crispy sardines!
