A trapped German Shepherd was fighting to stay afloat in a canal… until police officers came up with an unexpected rescue plan 🐶🧁
Officers from Glendale Police Department in Arizona responded to a call about a scared dog stuck in the water with no way out. The exhausted pup was too nervous to let anyone get close… until one officer used freshly baked pumpkin muffins as bait.
The dog was safely pulled from the canal and later reunited with its grateful owner ❤️
