A Full Day of Cozy Cooking 🍲 | Mushrooms That Taste Like Schnitzel 🤯

    Hello all👋♥️ I’m preparing my breakfast first thing in the morning🌞 *give the cabbage a quick rinse* crack one egg I want to separate the yolks from the egg whites, but this one broke [Focusing real hard not to mess up again] I used 4 eggs for today’s breakfast🍳 Add the prepared cabbage in along with salt and garlic powder mix mix mix I’ll cook this in olive oil and butter I want a fun breakfast, so I’ll create 4 cabbage nests🪺 Trying to make a structurally safe home for the egg yolks time to add the egg yolks very very carefully…. Survival ratio of the yolks 50% I’ll flip them to cook on both sides After so many hardships this is finally done🫩 Fry two bacon strips on the side (or more) I love eating cabbage during winter, if I could, I would eat it year round I also learned that a single cup of raw cabbage gives nearly half your daily vitamin C Vitamin C boosts immunity and even promotes collagen production So it tastes good and makes my skin better? count me in✍️ I’ll decorate it with garlic sriracha and chives I also lightly toasted a piece of toast This is the ultimate winter breakfast combo right there👌 Let’s quickly go eat! I’m excited to get that very first bite🤤 Um.. this has a slightly omelette flavor to it.. let’s try another one.. The bacon, toast and sriracha help me cover this up well haha I think if I had added more butter to the pan, it would have turned out better I always try to achieve the very best outcome so I’m a very harsh critic on myself Even like this I ended up enjoying this breakfast I think the cabbage nests would be very fitting to a sandwich I might be missing a bread layer on top, but it does taste even better!😎 I even felt sad that the breakfast ended [weren’t you the one badmouthing it the whole time?] Mr P discreetly put a vitamin D pill beside me [why is it black guys?] After I eat, I go into autopilot mode My brain can’t think and I just want to relax But I have a tiny little dictator in my head saying, do some computer work now I work but every task takes me twice the amount of time I’ll see you in a bit guys (praying I’ll finish early) After some time we decided on a late morning Sunday walk Ahh my cat is the cutest I’ve ever seen and I’m being very objective about this The weather is 70% gloomy looking right now I’m thinking of a warming lunch already♥️ The sweet barista lady drew some pretty pictures in the coffee cup♥️ We happened to meet our best friend outside unexpectedly So he joined us on our near the sea walk🚶‍♀️‍➡️ There’s a slight breeze of cold air, but it feels nice We rested at a bench for a minute since we’re in no rush today We just talked and talked about endless topics I try to listen to the conversation but it’s hard with this pretty sea view beside me The weather goes from moody to sunny in seconds All the walk made me feel a bit hungry🤧 And on the way back we saw these sunbeams trying to pierce the cloudy sky🔆 As soon as we got back, I felt excited to get on cooking We have a bunch of green onions in the fridge, that have clearly seen better days… Guys what you hear isn’t an earthquake, it’s just a passing airplane😒 I blame my open window I’ll be making a green onion pie and a nourishing mushroom soup I slowly see that the sky becomes clear, and the soup turning less relevant.. I can’t back down now, I bought too many mushrooms🍄‍🟫 A lovely subscriber told me I should get a garlic press, as it’ll be helpful But I already have it and I forget to use it haha I cut up a bunch of green onions, 2 small garlic cloves and a few mint leaves To this I’ll add an egg, 3 tbsp of greek yogurt 1/4 cup of all purpose flour and 50g of crumbled feta cheese You can adjust the measurements to your liking I almost forgot some olive oil, salt and black pepper Stir it and it’s done 🤩 So easy! I’ll brush some olive oil on parchment paper And then I’m spreading the green onion batter evenly & breadcrumbs to top it off Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes, or until done Meanwhile, I’ll prepare the mushroom soup ingredients Cutting a large celery stick into very small pieces And then I’ll lay the mushrooms on the chopping station Don’t worry guys, this will end very quickly🔪 After preparing a mountain of mushrooms, I’m satisfied I’ll overwork this garlic press now that I remembered it hehe I thought really hard about this soup Of what can I add in it to make it taste more special And I thought of the unopened bag of gnocchi that stares at me in the fridge I’ve never had gnocchi in a soup so I’m excited After cutting an onion, I’ll cut up two sundried tomatoes too Olive oil & oil from the tomatoes I’ll stir fry the mushrooms alone, because I want to reserve some for garnish Mushroom soup was one of the first things I ever made I vividly remember messing up so badly haha Setting aside a bunch of the mushrooms I’ll slowly add all the prepared veggies too So much steam coming up, I swear I didn’t burn anything After the veggies are cooked, I’m adding some all purpose flour and after I stir fried it, I deglaze with white wine I think I’ll have a glass skin today, the steam of the soup felt like a deep facial🫩 Add boiling water to cover, and cook for 30 minutes & a chicken stock cube, salt, pepper and thyme Meanwhile, the green onion pie is done And it passed the knife poking test (cooked all the way) After 30 minutes, I’ll add the gnocchi into the soup You can add rice instead of gnocchi of course I’ll finally add 200 g of heavy cream and let it cook until the gnocchi float on top 1 tsp of butter for creamier flavor And our creamy mushroom soup is done I thought I had finished, but I had a sudden craving I vaguely remembered a recipe I made a few years back it was breaded fried oyster mushrooms🤤 As I started making the recipe, I suddenly remembered they were coated in breadcrumbs I’ll end up using two different batter techniques in one 1st bowl: 1 cup all purpose flour, evaporated milk,
    pepper, paprika, and water until it turns thick texture 2nd bowl: 50% breadcrumbs, 50% panko bread, paprika Oyster mushrooms come out shyly Just split the mushroom clusters in individual pieces I’ll fry the largest pieces In hindsight, we only ate the smaller pieces though haha Now coat the mushrooms in the thick batter And then into the breadcrumbs a mushroom goes in, a trumpet comes out I’m not sure this is what I did in the past I have a vague memory of how it turned out and how delicious this was At least, I’ll end up with fried mushrooms, so that’s fine I’ll shallow fry them in olive oil Frying things makes me feel accomplished somehow haha Like this was a plain mushroom, and now it resembles a delicious chicken nugget🤤 The big pieces could fool anyone into thinking it was chicken cutlets I’ll fry the last of them I rush to finish as my appetite has gone off the charts The moment the plate touches the counter, I start salivating I can never feel full with only soup So I usually have to prepare many side dishes + a sprinkle of parmesan is a *must* I almost forgot the green onion pie – oops I’ll cut it in small pieces, to look cuter And it’s finally lunch time 😋 These dishes look so mouthwatering right now😋 you’ll see mr P’s happy spoon in 3..2..1.. 🧑🏻‍🦱:It’s incredible! I was worried about the gnocchi but they turned out pretty good in this 🧑🏻‍🦱:This soup is my favorite 🧑🏻‍🦱:After chicken soup 👩🏼:I was about to say that you had told me chicken soup was your favorite Both took a piece of fried mushroom to try I’m worried about the breading situation, 
    and mr P says how much he likes it first thing! I explain to him what I did and I can’t believe he loves it so much! 🧑🏻‍🦱:It’s like I’m eating schnitzel This soup is a flavor I’m having for years And the gnocchi have soaked the taste so well The pie was good, but I think the mint wasn’t suited to the flavor well It’s interesting, but I think I could make this even better than this 👩🏼:This isn’t a chicken nugget haha This breading is very interesting, it suits the mushroom flavor well Also frying it in olive oil made it taste even better Such a warming and filling meal today🍲 The afternoon sun looks so gentle through the curtains I’ll take a moment to observe the people and the flowers outside Afternoon 7:30pm I’ll start my dinner by stabbing two sweet potatoes with a fork🍴 I think I beat them up enough.. Bake at 200 °C until they’re cooked through There’s a sweet potato and mince meat trend going around So naturally I need to try it.. I’m cutting an onion and a garlic clove You just stir fry the minced beef in olive oil With taco seasoning aromatics and it will be even better but since I didn’t have any of these seasonings I added the onion, garlic and then, the meat Along with salt, pepper and thyme Until a nice crust develops on one side I wasn’t filming all this time? I added 1 tbsp of tomato paste, I cooked it well Then added rose wine to create a “sauce” I’ll let it evaporate, and the meat is done I’ll also add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce (optional) Guys, I think I start to lose it.. The whole time I was ”filming” I kept moving the camera here and there, the whole thing, without touching the on button.. *stirring the meat, while worrying about the state of my brain* The beef is fully cooked now I’ll finish it off with a small glob of butter I changed into my pajamas to get comfy The sweet potatoes are fully cooked now So I’ll mash the inside with a fork And I’ll stuff them with the minced meat The more the better hehe Sprinkle any cheese you like (I added parmesan and kefalotiri cheese) I’ll bake it until the cheese melts🫠 While I wait, I’ll prepare an avocado too Taking it with a spoon is so easy I’m cutting it very thinly now All the preparation are done, yayyy🥳 [I forgot to salt the sweet potato] Finish the dish off with cottage cheese This is a dish that’s high on protein You can even skip the grated cheese to cut back on calories A heart shaped sweet potato boat♥️ Why does it look like I get swallowed by the abyss haha Before I even start, I hear mr P’s approving hmm 🧑🏻‍🦱:This dish makes you want to work out haha at least we got a step closer to working out? This is a very expected flavor, but still good If the meat was black angus, with taco seasoning, it would be even better though 👩🏼:The avocado goes so well 👩🏼:I must admit I added a little cheese We talk about how workout worthy it is, but I need to come clean for calories It’s flavor is very subtle for dinner I felt like I’ve eaten so light after, very nice dish Another Day Today a very exciting package arrived!🇭🇺 A while ago my sister in law gifted me Hungarian paprika and I fell IN LOVE But this month it would expire..😒 Those of you that know me even a little, 
    know I love my Hungarian paprika, a gift from my sister in law The paprika was about to expire in the end 
    of the month and a subscriber from hungary Offered to gift me some paprika! I offered many times to pay her for it but she declined, as she wanted to gift it to me I would say no to this normally, but I seriously thought of flying to Hungary for this.. She told me that she would send 1kg of paprika to me! That’s more than I’ll even need in my life I think 👩🏼:Ahh!! 👩🏼:what…. 👩🏼:she has sent a million things!
    🧑🏻‍🦱:really?? There’s even a handwritten letter inside!🤧 My heart is beating so fast, it’s even hard to read this now This letter is a guide on what everything is! And the whole box smells amazing! 🧑🏻‍🦱: Wow thank you so much!

I thought this was tomato paste but it is paprika paste🤤 👩🏼:I can’t believe she sent so many things! 🧑🏻‍🦱: this is a box full of treats! 👩🏼:I can’t believe how many treats that is And the star of the show: 1kg of the best paprika there ever was!👑 I don’t think I can finish this in this lifetime! such a deep, rich red color 🧑🏻‍🦱: She even got us two of each🤧 We really truly thank you for this selfless gesture! 🧑🏻‍🦱: This is unbelievable, you’re a Youtuber! I’m really in shock right now, I would never think she would send so many things! We take many pictures to send to our friends I’m so rich in Hungarian treats right now! I can’t believe this has happened, really! I’ll tidy up, and we’ll eat them as an afternoon snack My heart is about to explode guys 👩🏼:she hand picked all of this😭 3:51 PM My in laws are out of town today And I just finished uploading a new video It’s the most stressful day when I upload because I always finish everything last minute, no matter what.. Mr P’s special meal is always KFC style chicken (add boiling water onto the cutting board) add salt, paprika, thyme, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder You can even add mustard powder and curry powder, but I didn’t have any Then massage it really well, to seep the spices in I would normally let it rest in the fridge for at least half an hour  to marinate it, but because I have no time and I’m hungry, I’ll cook it straight away The cheat hack I have for frying chicken, is to use pre-used disposable aluminum pans So you at least, have two less things to wash 1st pan: 2.5 cups flour, salt, black pepper, paprika 2nd pan: 1.5 cups of flour, 2 eggs, evaporated milk, salt, pepper and milk Until you get a thick pancake consistency Instead of milk you can use water too Adjust the consistency as you go Yep, this is perfect✨ Drop the chicken pieces in, on the batter first And then fully coat them on the flour This will give the KFC texture we want Fun fact, since my name is Dimitra, mr P calls my version DFC🤣🤣 This is a sensory play for adults We need a deep pan for this amount of chicken I have a pre-used frying oil, but the lid is a little stuck Ahh after this arm workout, I opened it This is the motivation I need to start working out finally I fry the chicken in medium high heat And flip them halfway The first batch is done and I couldn’t be happier I hear that when they make the sound of rain in movies it’s actually the frying sound?? And I just can’t get this information out of my mind It’s equally disturbing and calming at the same time haha Outside it so gloomy and beautiful My crispy fried chicken is finally done My heart is so happy for the fried chicken I searched of what goes well with this, and one answer was clear a refreshing coleslaw salad🥗 Cut the cabbage into very thin pieces as thin as my knife can cut and then quickly wash it I’m peeling a carrot into a bruised cabbage leaf I rarely cook this late in the afternoon And I love this soft glow through the window The coleslaw salad looks pretty easy to make add salt, 1 tbsp of mayo, 1 tbsp of yogurt, apple cider vinegar, paprika the recipe called for a bit of mustard too, but I ran out Mix it, and it’s easily ready Last minute addition :  “imitation mexican street corn” Warm it up in the microwave These precooked corns are so handy I’ll slather them with mayo, salt, parmesan and paprika You can tell, I’ll use my paprika powder till its last breath haha The corn side dish is also done! Since we’re alone, we can eat leisurely in the kitchen But somewhere here.. I accidentally unplugged my microphone… I put on some light music and I kept it short – oops The best friend of fried food is definitely beer We start off with the sweet and spicy taste of the corn It’s so refreshing and addictive The chicken is so crispy and full of flavor inside is very tender, amazing combination I sneakily made some fries too hihi I tried a piece of chicken with a spicy buffalo sauce and it suits it perfectly Mr P told me, if he could choose a final meal, this would be it haha It’s safe to say, this was a success! At late night, we ended up watching TV 
    and eating the leftovers in a salad, highly recommend Next Day Yesterday we were too full to try the Hungarian sweets So as soon as I woke up, I was excited for them! 👩🏼:So, for breakfast we’ll eat all these sweets haha (no joke) This is a Hungarian biscuit This is the subscribers favorite This is a sweet, and Balaton is the name of a Hungarian lake 🧑🏻‍🦱: you studied for this!
    👩🏼:it’s all written in the letter! And these are Hungarian traditional sweets Debating our starting point We started off with the subscribers favorite of course The flavor is the one of vanilla with chocolate, you can’t lose with it This will go perfectly with coffee or tea! I opened a traditional chocolate and it smelled like alcohol It looks very good inside too The flavor is like this like those chocolate liqueur candies with a cherry inside I think this one looks so good This is a wafer type of chocolate, we have something similar here in Greece Yep that’s a very close flavor and I like it a lot 👩🏼:it’s my favorite so far We’ll try the next one from this brand It’s the same wafer chocolate but with milk chocolate – so good This smells similar to the alcoholic one but it’s creamy inside I think I like this one even more, it’s a lovely texture 🧑🏻‍🦱: boozy chocolate  👩🏼:I can’t believe we can just eat Hungarian sweets right now, straight from Hungary 🧑🏻‍🦱: Thank you so much 👩🏼:Thank you so so much for this Let’s try the last one 👩🏼:take this one 👩🏼:no, no this one♥️ I like this one as it has a very crunchy texture There’s also some pretzel sticks in here This is the expected flavor and I like it very much 🧑🏻‍🦱: can you eat it like a beaver? 🧑🏻‍🦱: isn’t it nice to eat it like this?

    mr P has a haircut and I have laser hair removal The first stop is at an apartment The kitchen is small and dirty, but I can see some cuteness I like how bright this balcony is Trying to imagine myself cooking here This house isn’t in the area we want, but its a good deal so we came to see it We have seen so many apartments these few months, we think we’ll go crazy We left just in time for our appointments The time passes by quickly as the girl that does the laser is so sweet Two friends reunited, looking for a home We walked around our favorite neighborhood in case we discover something Mr P even asked some parrots, if they know anything haha Then we also asked some local cat But I don’t think she likes newcomers very much I feel famished as we ate those sweets around 11:30 and now it’s 4:00 pm We’ll go eat at a place that mr P’s barber recommended We have never seen it, but we’re invested in this recommendation haha It opens at 5:30, so we have some time to kill We got peach flavored kombucha that we love and some cookie dough flavored dates.. It’s really what it says it is, and I can’t guess how they did this? I couldn’t help myself and went back inside to get some veggie baked chips I wish they had some salt to revive me but still they’re good We sat down and chatted for 30 minutes We almost finished the whole container and went to see another rental 😍I’m not showing it to you, since it was very 
    dark inside, but this is a flower mr P picked for me Ryotei 118, Ano Glyfada We finished pretty late with the appointment and it got pretty cold I wear two cardigans and one jacket, cold It’s 6:30 and we can finally have a normal meal, I’m famished This is a Japanese gastropub, so I feel intrigued The first sushi bite flew me over the moon🌝 We also got ginger beer that’s an amazing sushi combo in my opinion The first sushi was a torched seabass roll and then came the most delicious edamame beans with spice kimchi butter We might be as hungry as it gets, but these are really good can’t.stop.eating Next one: beef gyoza and spicy shrimp tempura with salmon This gyoza has a very subtle flavor but it’s delicious Same goes to the sushi too Guys I feel like I have tears in my eyes eating this good We ordered 1 serving of ramen noodles to share And they slip it in two different bowls, how thoughtful! The broth was very mild in flavor but it got better as we continued eating it This really helped me feel warm inside out The chicken was boiled and then grilled, so amazing We always follow blindly peoples suggested places We mostly lose, but today was a huge victory🏆 I hope it’ll be just as good if you come here But keep in mind to make a reservation After eating to my body’s limit, came smashed burger.. I had forgot about this.. I haven’t felt this full in ages, my stomach might pop Debating with my self, but no, there’s no more room.. This was such a pleasing menu and flavors The staff was very friendly (it’s not an ad, I just loved it haha) Moving slowly and the cold air makes me feel better now Yesterday was full moon, so it’s still so big 🌕 We walked around in hopes to digest quicker this amount of food I hope you enjoyed todays video as well,

    5. I live 300 kilometers away at the same parallel of latitude, east of where you live. We're on the same geographical latitude. I am so shocked that our land is very very similar. The same shores, same houses, same sea, the same vegetables, same home food, the same fruits. Even the cats at the garden:) It's interesting to observe so many similarities.
