Yo, take your canned tuna to the next level with these scallion garlic tuna burgers. They were insanely delicious, easy to make, packed with protein. Highly recommend you give these a try. I guarantee you won’t regret it. So damn good. First, we’re going to start by making the tuna burgers. We got three cans of Safe Catch AI tuna. 43 g of protein per can, which is why I love it. Add that to a large bowl along with all the other ingredients. The full details are in the caption. Now, make sure everything’s mixed together really well. Then, we’re going to make some burger patties. You want to make sure they’re all equal size. Once done, we’re going to place those in the fridge to chill for a little bit and firm up. Next, we’re going to make our honey sesame sllo. The full details for that are in the caption. Just mix everything together till well combined. Then place that in the fridge as well. Last but not least, we’re going to make a super simple sweet chili Sriracha mayo. Just combine all the ingredients. Then set that aside. From here, we’re going to get a large skillet going over medium heat, dropping in some butter. We’re going to fry our burgers for about 4 minutes or so per side. Build that nice, beautiful golden brown crust. Once done, take those off, toast the buns, assemble your burgers, and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS (~3 servings)
Tuna Burgers
3 cans of @safecatchfoods Ahi Yellowfin Tuna
– 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
– 2 eggs
– 2 tbsp minced garlic
– 1/2 cup sliced green onions
– 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
– Seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & ginger powder all to taste.

– 2 tbsp butter
– brioche buns
– sliced avocado
– Extra sliced green onions (for toppings)

Honey Sesame Slaw (Combine all ingredients)
– 4 cups of shredded green cabbage
– 1/3 cup avocado mayo
– 1 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
– 1/2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
– 2-3 tbsp honey
– Seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, white and black sesame seeds all to taste.

Sweet Chili Sriracha Mayo (Combine all ingredients)
– 1/2 cup avocado mayo
– 1.5 tbsp sweet chili sauce
– 1.5 tbsp sriracha
– 1/2 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
– garlic powder to taste

Note(s): Measurements are estimated, adjust ingredients to your liking.

DIRECTIONS
1. For the tuna burgers, add all of the ingredients to a large bowl. Mix till well combined then form into 3 equal size patties. Place them in the fridge for at least an hour or up to 24 hours to firm up.
2. While the tuna burgers are chillling, prepare the slaw and the sauce. You could store those both in the fridge as well.
3. Once the tuna burgers are firm, get a large skillet going over medium heat and add in the butter. Let them cook for 3.5-4.5 minutes per side.
4. Toast the buns, assemble your burgers & ENJOY! 🙌🏻
