【出産直前!1日ルーティン】AM5:00起床でお弁当作り、朝ごはん、仕事|大家族ママに休みなしBefore birth! 1 day plan.
Good morning. I’m Touko, a mother of five. I’m two days away from my sixth child’s due date. Today’s video is a record of my daily routine right before giving birth. It starts with making lunch boxes for the kids in the morning, then preparing for birth, taking a cooking class, and finally making dinner. This is my sixth birth. Since my third child, I’ve always had to stay on bed rest due to threatened premature labor, but this time, thankfully, I was able to reach full term without any major issues. That said, you never know what’s going to happen during childbirth. I’ve previously been hospitalized after falling ill after giving birth, so I’m a little worried about whether my delivery will be smooth. I just hope that both mother and child are healthy and that the delivery will be smooth and peaceful. Now, time for morning preparations. Today, I’ll start by making lunch boxes for the kids. I want to make them as effortless as possible, but still delicious. Today, I’ll finish by baking chicken wings, potatoes, and corn in the oven. Deep-fried fries are delicious, of course, but slow-roasting them in the oven is also healthy and a big hit with my family. Place the soaked potatoes on a baking sheet. Potatoes (Oven Baked) [Ingredients] Potatoes [Seasonings] Olive oil, salt . I usually boil the corn in salted water, but today I’m going to bake it whole. My oven has two tiers. The top tier is for vegetables, and the bottom tier is for meat. Separating the ingredients allows for efficient cooking. Oven-baked chicken wings are perfect for lunch boxes or as a snack. Simple yet delicious, it’s a staple side dish in my home. Chicken Wings (Oven Baked) [Ingredients] Chicken Wings [Seasonings] Garlic, salt, pepper, soy sauce. Rub the wings thoroughly with your hands to thoroughly coat them. Place the wings skin-side up on a baking sheet and they’re ready to go. Now, let’s bake them in the oven. The bottom tier is for meat, and the top tier is for vegetables. Preheat the oven to 220°C and bake for about 20 minutes to see how they turn out. Meanwhile, I’m making breakfast soup. The great thing about oven cooking is that once it’s in the oven, I can take my hands off it. It’s a great help for busy mornings. Even on those mornings when I don’t have much of an appetite, my kids love a warm milk soup. Today, I’m making it using the onions, carrots, and sweet potatoes left in the fridge. My due date is fast approaching. I want to use up as many vegetables in the fridge as possible before then. My husband and kids are in charge of the food during my hospital stay. But if I leave too many vegetables… they’ll probably go bad by the time I’m released. I’ll probably have somen noodles, udon noodles, fried rice, etc. Anyway, even though I’m gone for four nights and five days, my husband and I will be there, so today I’m making breakfast while also organizing the fridge. Sweet potatoes are a great addition to milk soup. Their soft, sweet texture pairs perfectly with milk soup. I’m also using sausages, which the kids love. Adding bacon, sausages, or other meats that add flavor makes the soup even more delicious. So, what do you think? I’d like them to brown a little more, so let’s cook them for an additional 5 minutes. Add olive oil and fry the cut vegetables. Once they’re cooked through, let’s thicken. I usually use plain flour, but today I’m substituting rice flour. Milk soup [Ingredients]: Onion, carrot, sweet potato, sausage [Seasonings]: Rice flour, water . It’s very convenient because it can be used in a variety of ways, just like wheat flour . Add the consommé, cover, and simmer until the vegetables are soft. Hot! The oven-baked bento boxes are now nicely browned. Salt-grilled chicken wings with a hint of garlic. Slow-roasted potatoes and grilled corn in the oven. Summer bento boxes are a time when you have to worry about food going bad. The freshly grilled side dishes are transferred to plates, and the corn, thoroughly grilled with the husk still on, is steamed inside the husk, bringing out all its sweetness. My older sister has woken up. Good morning. Wake everyone up. It’s almost time for the kids to wake up. We’re making lunch boxes, making breakfast, and getting ready to leave. I wonder if my husband and the kids can manage to do it while I’m in the hospital? They won’t wake up. We’ll be late. It’s already 7 o’clock. The vegetables in the milk soup are softly cooked. Now, add the milk. Finally, season with salt and pepper. The gentle milk soup, with the sweetness of the vegetables, is complete. Hey. It’s morning. Wake up. We’re going to be late. I’m making rice balls for breakfast. I’ll add shiso furikake, which the kids love. I’ll also add white sesame seeds. It’s almost time. Not nearly time. It’s almost time. Is it time? Yes. There’s only a little time left, so hurry up and get dressed. Yes. I want to eat rice balls. I made rice balls. For breakfast today, I’m having rice balls and milk soup with lots of vegetables. Delicious. I tried stew. It has sweet potatoes in it. Yay. So good. It’s getting close to time to leave, so I quickly pack my lunch. I put salt and black sesame seeds on top of the rice. The oven-baked side dishes have cooled down, so let’s pack them. If there’s any left, I’ll give you this. Eat the stew first. I’ll finish it off with a boiled egg and some frozen edamame beans. I have some leftover potatoes and meat, so feel free to eat them if you want. Okay. I’ll eat it. Eat it. Are there any bones in it? Here. There are bones in it. I’ll tie your hair up. Yeah. It’s getting late. Who should do my hair while Mom’s in the hospital? Huh? I don’t know. Can Daddy do it? Daddy said he can’t. That’s a problem. There’s no one to tie my hair when Mom’s not around. Delicious. Delicious. Are the rice balls delicious? How do you make them so good? Please bring me a bento. Let’s eat. It’s delicious. Was the meat tasty? Yes. That’s good. The boys are heading out with their bento boxes. They’re practicing taking care of the baby. They’re looking forward to the baby. They’re going to kindergarten. Now, I’m off to drop them off. I stopped by the supermarket to do some groceries. My due date is in two days. I’ll be in the hospital for five days. I don’t think I’ll be able to stand in the kitchen for a while. It’s hard to prepare food in advance, so I’ve decided to rely on frozen meals for my kids’ bento. I bought a lot of frozen foods that I think they’ll like. I hope they can cook rice and make tamagoyaki themselves. The freezer is already full. But with this much, I think we’ll be able to get by for a while… I think. A package has arrived. I’ve gotten rid of most of the baby supplies, so my sister has sent me a bunch of things she no longer uses: baby bottles, clothes, swaddling clothes, etc. Baby bottles and formula have really gone up in price recently, haven’t they? I plan to breastfeed, but having a baby bottle with me when I need to leave my baby at home is really helpful. Baby clothes are only worn for a short time. Hand-me-downs are appreciated. Since he was born in the summer, gauze swaddling clothes are smooth and easy to use. I’ll put one in my hospital bag so I can wrap him in it when he’s released from the hospital. Oh? This vest was a gift from a friend when I gave birth to my first son. I got back some of the things I gave to my sister. I’m going to wash and hang out the underwear, summer clothes, and swaddling clothes I can use right away. As I enter the final month of pregnancy, my belly feels heavy and I start to experience various physical discomforts. This time, my legs were particularly swollen. They were as swollen as radishes. This was the first time I’d experienced such swelling, even with my sixth child. Massages and leg elevations didn’t help, and it even became painful to stand. After consulting with my doctor, we decided to schedule the birth before my due date. You never know what’s going to happen during childbirth, after all. I took a short nap in preparation for my evening lesson. I’m going to rest my body without pushing myself too hard. At 4 p.m., I’ll be hosting an online lesson for my “Hilari Family Kitchen Salon.” We’ll be cooking dinner together via Zoom with salon members from all over the country. Many people look forward to this monthly lesson. Even though we’re on a screen, it’s great to be able to see each other, work with our hands, and cook the same meal together. We chat before class. We live in a variety of locations, from north to south, but it’s still fun to be able to cook together. To ensure that cooking is not just a chore but something everyone enjoys, I first set up my computer and prepare my handheld camera. I always try to make sure the details of the process are clearly visible. Today’s lesson menu is a spicy keema curry, perfect for summer. It’s an authentic recipe using curry powder that’s easy to make at home. The side dishes are cucumber achar and potato and green bean sabji. My kitchen is on the west side, so the sun is very strong in the evenings. A viewer previously suggested in a comment that it would be good to cover the windows with aluminum foil, so I tried it. We’ll review the cooking order, steps, and important points to keep in mind. It’s 3:50 PM. Let’s connect via Zoom. And that’s it, the July lesson begins. It’s hot today, so please drink plenty of fluids. Today we’re making keema curry, so please prepare in advance by finely chopping the onions. I’m turning the heat up a bit. We’ve added some raw tomatoes, so let’s turn the heat up a bit. We’re all having keema curry for dinner tonight. Welcome back. Lesson’s over. Today’s curry. Keema curry. Yay! Was natto rice for lunch today? Right. Dinner is curry. Keema curry with potato sabji and cucumber achar. Yay. Baby tools , that’s what I got. Baby luggage. The things we’ll use. Baby’s. You have a baby bottle, right? You’ll feed the baby milk when he’s born, okay? Well, that’s it. I don’t have to cook dinner today, so it’s easy. The curry I made in the lesson is for dinner at home. I can finally breathe a sigh of relief after the lesson is over. My next lesson is scheduled for late August, after the baby is born. Tonight’s dinner is authentic keema curry made with curry powder. The key to this keema curry is the way the onions are fried. It’s a curry that the kids love. We also made the soft-boiled eggs together in the lesson. Yes, it’s delicious. We ‘ll also serve it with cucumber achar and potato and green bean sabji. Tonight’s dinner is an authentic keema curry with a fragrant spice, perfect for the hot summer. Yes. Is this a soft-boiled egg? A very runny egg. Let’s eat. The kids had big appetites today as well. Thank you for watching until the end.

I know your videos probably have a time delay from real life, and I hope everything goes or has gone well! My 7 year old was a surprise, I'd long since given away all the baby stuff too, but it's so sweet that you got some things back from your sister that you gave to her. I was nearly 40 and while I had two kids, they were nearly 10 years apart, and same with my last. I also had to be induced into labor due to swollen legs (and high blood pressure). My husband and older (9 and 19 at the time) kids managed, but in the USA we are lucky to have 1-2 days in the hospital, so I was back home soon and still recovering. My husband had used all of his leave from work, so I was on my own. It was tough but we managed. I've learned a lot about Japanese cooking for a larger family from you, and love to see your family, it's very heartwarming. ❤
Take good care and rest lots 💕✨✨
Thank you for dropping a video for us at this last moment, I hope you have a smooth delivery and both u and the baby are healthy
Thank you for your videos. I wish everything goes well and you have a safe delivery💐🍼
You are working too hard with the family meals 2 days prior to your baby delivery. You are a work horse for your children and family home. I would have requested help from my mom or my mother in law in helping ant least 2 weeks in the lead up to delivery date and the post natal care for at least a month for me to rest and bond with my new baby. 😮
May God bless you and your New born baby!👍💪
ついに😲無事に産まれることを願っています

You poor thing! It hurts so much when your legs swell like that! Hope your birth was peaceful and that you're all very healthy and happy.
