🥢 暑い日でも簡単!ピリ辛さっぱり韓国風おかず
Today, I’ll introduce you to an easy kimchi-style side dish using pickled radish and green onions! The ingredients are very simple, and the great thing about this dish is that it can be made without cooking, even in the hot summer ! ♪ Use the entire pickled radish. Cut it in half, then cut it lengthwise and cut into half-moons. Cutting it into 5mm-wide half-moons gives it a nice crunch and makes it delicious. Cut the remaining radish in the same way and place it in a bowl. This dish is almost done once you’ve cut it (lol) . Next, finely chop 1/2 of a green onion. The flavor really comes out when combined with the pickled radish. Add the chopped onion to the bowl and add the seasonings: 1/2 teaspoon grated garlic, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder (adjust to taste), and 1 teaspoon sesame oil . Mix thoroughly. Finish by sprinkling on some toasted sesame seeds and mixing again. ♪ If you don’t like spicy food, you can also reduce the chili powder to 1 teaspoon. I tasted it and wanted it to be a little more sour, so I added another teaspoon of vinegar. Adjust the amount of vinegar to match the sourness of the takuan. If you store it in a storage container and keep it in the refrigerator, it’s the perfect accompaniment to rice. It’s really nice to be able to avoid using fire in the kitchen in summer. This kimchi-style takuan salad is fun to make even in the hot season. Please give it a try!
