【大食い】5kg超! デカ盛り!ほくほく💖肉じゃが定食! 〜ご飯6合と味噌汁10人前添えて〜【ロシアン佐藤】【Russian Sato】
Hangry Monster! Hello, I’m Russian Sato. Well, actually Edgeneer’s office moved to a new location this year. And, I’m filming in a new filming room~! Now, we have new rooms for filming Party Kitchen’s videos and my channel’s, Hangry Monster’s, videos. Our new kitchen is nice and big, so it’s easy to use. Now, we have more rooms to film, so I want to film Hangry Monster’s videos in different rooms! Please stay tunes! I’m planning to put more stuffed animals that viewers gave me and that are my favorite idle in my background, so please look forward to new additions in the future! There is also the 10,000 subscriber celebration frame. Well, I was thinking what I should eat today. I remembered I haven’t made my favorite classic Japanese dish on Hangry Monster. So I’m going to make that dish. It is nikujaga (simmered meat and potato)~! I wanna eat it! I saw Ago-chan making nikujaga on Party Kitchen, which made me really hungry. And, I thought “I have to make a mega version of it!” So I’m going to make and eat nikujaga platter today! Please watch~! Chunky ingredients!
Make nikujaga platter Nikujaga Oil Onion Carrot Potatoes Pork Water Skim off the foam Sugar Sake Soy sauce Mirin Otoshibuta Simmer until most of the liquid evoporates Snow peas Plating Nikujaga Kombu miso soup Hiyayakko Done! Yay! It’s done! It smells so good! I used 12 potatoes, but most of them are fell apart while I was simmering them. But I put this good looking one on top. And, the miso soup with kombu dashi, rice, pickles, and tofu for the nikujaga platter tonight! All right, I’m going to eat it now! Itadakima~su! Nikujaga! Nikujaga! Seems happy Nicely soaked up~! The flavor is soaked up by the potatoes! Full of flavors❤ I used pork today, and the umami of the pork is soaked up by the sauce and potatoes nicely! The carrot melt in my mouth. Yum~! Fluffy and moist. Soaked up the umami and looks like a grandma Mmm~, yum! The meat is tender too. Snow peas. I added the snow peas at last, so they’re mild and crispy. It adds a nice touch to the dish and goes well with rice~! A whole potato. Definitely too much lol Fluffy! It’s really moist! So good! The simple pork dashi is really nice. Seem to be having fun lol I added too many toppings. Hiyayakko w/ lots of toppings It was really light, so I ate almost all of it at once lol I poured some ponzu and put green onion and bonito flakes, so it’s nice and light. I finished the tofu~! It’s gone lol Let’s try the miso soup. Today’s miso soup got carrot, onion, and green onion. Also, I got lots of sweet potatoes from a viewer, so I added that sweet potato too. I used this sweet potato in the LEE’s video!
Thank you very much☺ The sweetness of the sweet potato is coming through. So good! Goes well with the kombu dashi~. I wanted to eat the kombu used for the dashi again, so I julienned it and added to the soup. It’s really nice. You can make tsukudani with it too☺ Okay! I want to use a flavor changer here. This is more so what I like to sprinkle. Ta-da! Shiraganegi! The strong flavor of the white leek goes well with meat. Looks good! Yum! The a bit spicy aroma of the negi (Japanese long onion) and the sweet meat go perfectly! This crunchy texture is perfect! The potato is soaked in the dashi and very moist. Mr. Potato who is soaked in the simmering liquid and moist! Potatoes soaked in dashi are amazing, aren’t they? The moistness brings me hapiness! One more flavor changer. This time… The flavor will change drastically. Ta-da! Curry powder! I’m going to add this to the soup~. Nice aroma of the curry! This is curry flavored nikujaga~! Delicious! It goes well with nikujaga~~~! The mixture of curry spices surprisingly goes well with Japanese dishes. You can add it to oden’s soup too. The ingredients for nikujaga are similar to the ones for curry, so this sweet and salty flavors go really well with curry powder. It’s delicious and makes me wanna eat more rice! Finished it all~! Finished the miso soup too! I only have a tiny bit of the rice and one potato. This is the last bite of the nikujaga~! I finished them all~! Gochisousamadeshita~! Gochisousamadeshita! I ate all of the mega nikujaga platter~! Warm nikujaga is perfect for winter as I expected. It makes me wanna eat more rice and goes well with miso soup too. The shiraganegi I added in the middle and the surprising flavor changer, curry powder, go perfectly well with nikujaga! I used curry powder called “Jun curry” which is a small tin, or you can also use a bit extra curry roux. Please look for them! The flavor profile will change a bit, and both flavors marry together. So please try out this flavor changer! I recently realized I hadn’t made the classic dishes even though I’m doing this channel for a while. I got some comments saying that viewers want to see more classic dishes, so I want to make mega versions of the classics. Nikujaga is the best! All right, Hangry Monster! Wow!! Her one bite is like my 5 bites….. I never get used to see her GIGANTIC mouth!!! Without the doubt, she has the biggest mouth I have e ever seen in my life!!!!!! I wish my mouth was little bit bigger…….. Anyway, I love her huge, childlike smile & friendly personality & enjoy watching her unique fashion sense!(^^) I also love how she cooks & creative presentation!! They always look very appetizing!(^^).
I LOVE "NIKUJAGA" minus meat!!! (^^)(^^). Yes! I am not keen on red meat, but I love chicken! I just love Potatoes, so I love any potato dish! The easiest one to make is the baked potato & sometimes the simplest dish is the best of all….& the butter & little sea salt & the fresh ground black pepper on the piping hot baked potato is amazingly delicious!!! (^^)(^^)(^^)(^^) Of course, it is just as good to be creative with toppings like broccoli & cheddar cheese, smoked ham & Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, tuna mayo & corn, etc. Boy! Now I have a craving for a baked potato……but I am out of potatoes…. =_=. I guess it's time for my grocery shopping!!
