同じ韓国料理でもこんなに違う!?小岩のDEEPな韓国料理屋たちのカムジャタン(じゃがいも鍋)のこだわりがすごすぎた…!!

She’s at the counter cooking.
[Even in the same Korean restaurant, there are so many differences depending on the restaurant. Atmosphere of a home kitchen
[Even in the same Korean restaurant, there are so many differences depending on the restaurant. Even in the same Korean restaurant, there are so many differences from restaurant to restaurant. Hello everyone, we are PBOY! Koiwa Korean Town – Part 2 -We took a tour of Koiwa’s Korean Town as our new filming location!
-Isn’t it unusual for people to come to Koiwa so often? -Remember there was a store named Omoni and another named Imone?
Yeah. – Yeah. They mean “mother” and “aunt” respectively.
This is a project to verify which one’s gamjatang is tastier! Do you mean we’re going to eat our gamjatang in a row? -There were many home-style restaurants with a DEEP atmosphere in Koiwa.
Such, Korean restaurants in the city often focus on Kamjatang.
-Maybe the mother has an advantage? I wonder if there is a difference between restaurants in terms of the gamjatang. Today, I will document that experience.
Let’s go to the “mother” first. This is just our personal opinion. [Koiwa’s “mother”]
“…” Omoni”] First store is Omoni -I was a little taken aback the moment I walked in. The atmosphere is too much like home.
-This space is just the way we like it. This is the atmosphere of a Korean restaurant in town. She’s at the counter cooking. The menu is really varied, but the Gamjatang is listed at the top of the list.
There are still many restaurants that push for Gamjatang. The Japanese on the menu is slightly different from what I thought it would be. Cham-Isul Jang “Donkun” TV commercial… [Possibly a different person from Jang Donggun. -The amount of appetizers is incredible.
-I could drink just from this.
[See the wide variety of appetizers. A story about a Korean restaurant in Machiya that only I have been to. When I was talking to the mom at the restaurant, she told me that making the appetizers was the most fun part of the meal. She said it was because she could make what she wanted to make. She said appetizers are the most rewarding because you can focus on the dish you want your guests to have. Some restaurants seem to think that way. -WAO
-Large. Kamjatang. 3,000 yen. Yeah, interesting. I heard that recently it is not possible to import egoma leaves from Korea at all. Instead, I had it sprinkled with egoma powder.
[Shops that insist on using Korean-grown egoma are unable to provide it. Let me explain again about this dish.
“Gamja” is a word that has two meanings: “potato” and “pork backbone”. -That’s great that you’re going to compare the food of these.
-The smell of pork bones is crazy! How’s the taste of Omoni’s Gamjatang? Very thick. So many different tastes! Seriously, pork bone itself. If you think about it, isn’t the amount of backbone crazy? At first I thought there was less meat on the bone than normal. This is probably the result of being cooked over high heat for a long time, causing the meat to separate from the bone.

[The longer it is simmered, the more the meat falls off the bone. This soup has the meat melted into it. Delicious! -Great. Potatoes are delicious.
-Oh my god, the jabaimo is delicious! Not only soft and flaky texture Delicious! -It’s a little bit sweet potato-like in texture.
-Yes, it’s sticky. There are a lot of bok choy leaves that were dried outside the restaurant as a garnish, but they are also delicious. I think this might be the first time I’ve ever eaten kamjatang with so much potato goodness.
[Omoni potatoes, why so much texture? Seriously, this sticky texture is the best! Common things at the end of the gamjatang -The meat on the bones dissolves more and more into the soup, and the more it simmers, the thicker it gets.
-I’ve never seen so much meat in a bowl. Looks like curry.
After eating the gamjatang, the rule is to leave some of the broth for baked rice. Green onion, chives I’m actually eating this for the first time. -Which do you think it is?
-I think it’s the type that doesn’t taste the same. Totally different taste Totally different. Negi pork rice, something like that. A side dish at a very good ramen shop. Oh, this is like a grilled pork bowl risotto. The green onions give a nice refreshing taste in my mouth. It tastes like Chinese food. This is Omoni’s Kamjatang! What if the other store Imone tastes the same?
Koiwa is this style? We are all about to discover a new taste? We ate omoni
“Mom’s” gamjatang. I know I’m getting up and down, but next time, let’s go to “Aunt’s” Gamjatang, Imone. [Second house today, Imone (aunt’s house). Former boxing gym property? This is home.
This is also a house. -I get more of a kitchen vibe from this.
-Dining room-like -The restaurant’s recommendation is Gamjatang.
-I knew it. I see that this restaurant also recommends Gamjatang as a menu item. This is good service
By the way, I found this display in the restaurant. “If there is a dish you want to try, we will make it with authentic ingredients.” -Wow, you mean you can eat anything.
-I wonder if they can make Patbingsu or something like that.
-Ask her. Can you make Patbingsu or something like that? Patbingsu cannot be created! It’s too early! Imone’s (my aunt’s house) gamjatang: 3,300 yen. -This looks totally different.
-Red Looks spicy. I really should add egoma, but I can’t get it right now. There are as many varieties over here as there are over here.
Here’s another gorgeous appetizer(banchan) The obvious difference is that there is a lot of meat on the bone! Wow, that’s a lot of meat on the bone. There’s quite a lot of dried Chinese cabbage in there too, so many vegetables. The dried Chinese cabbage is from Korea. So does the sesame powder.
The aroma is totally different from that of Japanese products. Not the main pork bone flavor! -First of all, it’s hot!
-Oh, yes! Strong potato feeling, more potato than meat. It’s totally different from the one I just had, but it’s also delicious. The soup is very light. It’s not that it’s not tasty, but the soup I just had was crazy thick. Strong vegetable flavor How do potatoes taste? That’s not the same as the sticky potato from earlier. -The potatoes you just ate were sticky fat.
-Oh yes! -Hokkaido potatoes are used.
-There are many brands, but the potatoes from Hokkaido are delicious! [Her attention to ingredients is pretty strong. Dried Chinese cabbage is so good! There is just so much meat, tender and delicious. Tasty and tender like meat in a stew. Perfectly sized. For a second kamjatang, the three of us could have easily eaten it.
[It was just right for us because the portions were not too large. Yum! [The way the fried rice was made also showed the restaurant’s character. That’s nice. Cooked rice! It really shows how each restaurant does it. Smells good. (Texture is too perfect) I like it. Ume! Rice with millet and shiitake mushrooms and stuff, nice texture. Gutsy and tasty. -Does it taste different from other restaurants?
-Yes, it is totally different and delicious. Glad it’s tasty. If I had ten opportunities, I would come over here eight times. I didn’t know that the taste varies so much from restaurant to restaurant.
[Did you understand well that the characteristics of gamjatang differ from restaurant to restaurant? -Both of the two I had today tasted different from anything I’ve had before.
-They have color, don’t they? You mean like there are many variations of tonkotsu ramen. It was as if they were different. -In truth, you don’t know any different, do you?
-No, indeed, I understand. -Really? Are you sweating your heart out?
-soaking wet. GOTHAM CITY We worked pretty hard today, two kamjatangs in one day. -Both had their good qualities.
-I didn’t expect such a difference.
(Omoni, Imone) The use of ingredients and attention to detail was different for each of us. Winner: Imone
(Opinion of us PBOYs) Imone was delicious with good overall balance.
[Both are very well-loved restaurants, so choose whichever one you want to eat. -And the meat was just delicious.
-It had been a long time since I’ve eaten gamjatang with good meat. If you have a chance, you should try kamjatang in Koiwa! good-bye The world’s first man to eat three meals a day of gamjatang Ah, you’re the guy who eats three meals a day of kamjatang! This is a residential area, please be quiet.
