    [Music] Let’s make my version of chicken paprikash. This is probably the flagship dish from Hungary. However, I also grew up eating this. My grandmother from my father’s side was from the Czech Republic. And she’s one of those Europeans that just had the craziest, craziest life story. She lived through like all of the wars. I’m not even exaggerating. At one point, this woman spoke like 12 different languages. She passed away a few years ago, but she left us all of her recipes in a little cookbook. I still made a few extra twist of my own. For example, her recipe had a splash of vinegar, but instead I used white wine. I don’t think this is very traditional, but let me tell you, it came out so good. I also didn’t have sour cream or heavy cream, and I just used Greek yogurt. Also worked out really well. This is as creamy and as comforting and as rich as I remember from my childhood. I feel so happy to have this book with everything explained in her own words. I’ll definitely be doing some more
