Hello, my culinary friends! Welcome back to my channel.
Today, I’m sharing a delicious and healthy vegan take on Korean Yangnyeom Chicken using crispy tofu tenders, paired with a refreshing and citrusy Yuja (Yuzu) cabbage salad. This dish is perfect for anyone, whether you’re vegan or just looking for a fun new way to enjoy Korean flavors!
🔥 Crispy on the outside, satisfyingly chewy on the inside, and coated in a rich, sweet & spicy sauce—this tofu “chicken” is a game changer!
🍋 The Yuja cabbage salad adds a refreshing balance, making it a perfect meal or even a snack to pair with drinks!

Ingredients:
Tofu Tender Yangnyeom Chicken: 400g Tofu Tenders, 5 Garlics, 10 Almonds, Cooking Oil
Condiments: 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce, Sugar 50g, 3 Tbsp Minced Garlic, 1 tsp Black Pepper, 150ml Water, 1 Tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili powder), 150g Ketchup, 100g Oligosaccharide, 50g Sugar
Refreshing Salad: 120g Cabbage, 50g Carrot, 2 Tbsp Yujacheong or Orange Marmalade, 2 tsp Lemon Juice, 10g Walnuts
I understand that the tofu tenders I used may be difficult for you to find, so I looked for some alternatives.
– **Gardein – Crispy Tenders**: Available in major supermarkets like Walmart and Tesco in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, as well as on Amazon.
– **Beyond Meat – Beyond Chicken Tenders**: Sold at Whole Foods, Target, Kroger, and other grocery stores, and also easy to find online.
These two options should work well as substitutes!

I live in Korea and I’m uploading videos introducing Korean recipes.
I’m mainly introducing Korean food, but instead of traditional recipes, I’m introducing recipes that can be cooked in an easier way using ingredients that are currently used in Korean households.
As a result, you can use imported ingredients instead of Korean ingredients.
Just because a recipe is Korean doesn’t mean it’s made with only Korean ingredients.
I’m just saying this in case you get the wrong idea.
