How to Carve a Miniature Pumpkin & Dry Mini Jack o’Lantern

Everyone loves carving Pumpkins into Jack O’Lanterns. Turn one of those Mini Pumpkins into a Permanent Halloween decoration.
For those Underage, please make sure you have a adult or parent let help or do the carving and roasting. Safety First. Roasting times may vary depending on Oven and Size and thinkness of the little pumpkin AND how many Pumpkins you will be drying. NEVER leave an oven unattended and check frequently so they do not burn.

Will this drying method work with a large pumpkin?
Probably Not. the structure of a larger pumpkin would fall apart. and it would sag before it hardened.
Ok so I tried it with a pumpkin that was roughly 5 inches tall. Stuffed a soda can in it to help support it. It works! It take quite a bit longer but it works. I think the key is to properly support it with something that will keep the bulk of it from smashing down under it's own weight. I'll send you a link of the finished product if you want to see it. Message me. Thank you very much for posting this video. You're the only person I found that shows how to do this.
