    HIGH-PROTEIN CINNAMON ROLLS FRENCH TOAST

For the cinnamon rolls french toast:

    – 2 thick slices of bread
    – 3 1/2 tsp vanilla protein powder
    – 6 tbsp + 2 tsp milk
    – 1/3 tsp cinnamon

    For the topping:

    – 6 tsp vanilla protein powder
    – 2 tbsp milk
    – Icing sugar or sugar substitute for dusting (optional)

    Let’s make them

    1. Preheat your oven to 425°F / 220°C.

    2. Cut each slice of bread into 12 small pieces and place them in a small baking dish.

    3. Add 6 tbsp + 2 tsp milk, 1/3 tsp cinnamon and 3 1/2 tsp protein powder to a shaker. Shake until smooth.

    4. Pour the mixture over the bread and make sure all the pieces are coated. Toss everything around with a spoon if needed.

    5. Bake for 9–10 minutes.

    6. While the bread is baking, mix 6 tsp protein powder with 2 tbsp milk until you have a smooth topping.

    7. Take the cinnamon bites out of the oven, drizzle the topping over them and finish with a little icing sugar or sugar substitute if you want.

    Serve warm and enjoy.
