Join me to create a tasty chicken fried in a sauce ,today for a winter meal.Spicy Crispy Korean Chicken is the perfect mix of crunch,heat and sweet stickiness that makes every irresistible.Juicy chicken pieces are coated in a light , crispy batter and fried until golden,then tossed in a glossy Korea -style sauce made with garlic,soy sauce , chilli sauce homemade and a bit sugar for that candy glaze.The chicken thighs are are shaped like a candy by applying cuts in an artistic way.
    The crispy fried chicken is tossed finally in flavourful sweets and tangy sauce that infused balance taste in it.Finished with sesame seeds and potato fries ,this Korean candy chicken is a crowd pleasing snack or meal, best enjoyed hot and crunchy with rice or a party-style appitizer.

    prep time : 15 minutes
    marination: 30 minutes
    cooking time 15 minutes
    serves: 2 to 3 persons

    Ingredients.
    chicken drumsticks 4
    oil to fry

    For Korean sauce
    garlic chopped 1 tsp
    oil 2 tbs
    soy sauce 1 tsp
    vinegar 1 tbs
    sugar 1 tsp
    black pepper 1/2 tsp
    tomato ketchup

    marinade ingredients
    chicken 400 g (drumsticks)
    salt to taste
    red chilli powder 1 tsp
    soy sauce 1 tbs
    mustard sauce 1 tsp
    chili sauce 1 tbs
    egg half (beaten)

    Chilli sauce ingredients
    4_5 Kashmir dry chilli
    water half cup

    For coating
    all purpose flour 1.5 cup
    salt 1/2 tsp
    red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
    cold iced water 2 cups

    Method,
    wash the chicken legs or meat
    drain and dry.
    Apply marinade ingredients and leave it for 30 minutes.
    Make chilli paste by soaked red Kashmiri chillies and grind in a blender or processor.

    Take all purpose flour and cost marinated chicken legs one by one.Dip in cold water and recoat dry flour.
    In a wok,pour oil or deep frying.
    When hot,place chicken pieces in it and fry on medium low flame.Turn sides and remove when golden.

    Sauce making process
    In a pan,pour two tbs oils and heat it,add chopped garlic and saute it till golden.Add chilly grind paste and mix.
    Add sauce and mix.After 5 minutes add fried chicken and toss gently so that sauce is well coated.
    Remove chicken legs in a plate and garnish with a pinch of sesame seeds, fresh herbs and French fries (optional).
    Enjoy with steamed rice or as a starter.
