韓国の「麻薬」卵(マヤック卵)

These savory, sweet, and slightly spicy marinated eggs are nicknamed drug eggs in Korean for a reason. They’re so flavorful and addictive. It’s one of the few times I can sit down and eat like three boiled eggs no problem. This time that I ate it, I also paired it with chicken and some kimchi for a proteinpacked meal. You can totally boil your eggs, but a little trick I like to do to avoid doing more dishes is just air frying them. And the marinade is simple and uses a lot of ingredients you probably already have. Start by dicing up some onions and adding water, soy sauce, sesame seeds, and chili for spice. Then to balance the saltiness, add a little sugar, ginger, garlic, and green onions.

KOREAN “DRUG” EGGS (Mayak Eggs)

Highly recommend prepping some at the beginning of the week to be able to have for whenever you want to add a little protein to your meal. Also makes a great snack 😊

Full instructions (for marinade + air frying or boiling) are on my blog KyrieTheFoodie.com (link in bio)!

  2. tried them before, no they are not addictive, they are very boring and underwhleming… just make a softboiled egg and add whatever you want and eat it… no need to pickle it…

  3. Is another name for them crack eggs ? Bc I’ve been told to make this before but I just wanna know if the name I was given wrong or if they are two completely different things

  4. I’ve been referencing this short to make air fried eggs for the first time today when I recognized your face! I’m Hannah Hunter, we grew up together when we were younger and I remember your mom making sushi rolls when we came over to play. Glad to see you’re doing well. ❤❤❤

  5. This is irresponsible. You are going to cause others to explode their eggs in the air fryer. Just because it works for you doesn't mean others would be able to do it right.

  6. I love doing ramen eggs using light soy, mushroom soy, mirin, ginger, garlic, and red chili flake it comes out great. This might be a nice try.

  7. For the marinating overnight, do we leave it on the fridge or room temperature? I'm afraid of doing either and accidentally ruining the eggs
