冷蔵庫に余った材料でとんぺい焼き!中の具材はなんでもOK!超簡単!夜食にも!
Welcome to Tsutsumishita Shokudo! I’m Tsutsumishita. What shall we cook today? Well, in recent live streams, I’ve made a lot of single serving dishes so I have leftover ingredients. We have many mothers, fathers, and single adults who watch these videos, so I want to make a video for them to create something delicious with leftovers. Today we’ll make tonpei-yaki, which is famous in Osaka. We’ll use common leftover ingredients: cabbage, beansprouts, eggs, and boneless pork ribs. I’ll show you an easy-to-make tonpei-yaki. Please watch ‘till the end. Thank you! “Ingredients used” Let’s get started with the tonpei-yaki. I just bought the bean sprouts from Family Mart,
[Tonpei-yaki (2 servings)]
“Boneless pork rib 150g”
“Cabbage 1/4個”
“Bean sprouts 250g”
“3 Eggs”
“Cheese 1/3 bag”
“Oil and salt & pepper to your liking.” because I feel it’s left over quite often.
[Tonpei-yaki (2 servings)]
“Boneless pork rib 150g”
“Cabbage 1/4個”
“Bean sprouts 250g”
“3 Eggs”
“Cheese 1/3 bag”
“Oil and salt & pepper to your liking.” I’ll use all of it today though.
“Mayo, green seaweed, sauce, red pickled ginger to your liking.” One fourth of the cabbage is often leftover, too.
“Mayo, green seaweed, sauce, red pickled ginger to your liking.” I’ll use these items for today’s meal!
“Mayo, green seaweed, sauce, red pickled ginger to your liking.” After cutting the core, the rest will be cut finely. So go ahead and chop this right up. I get this at the bar. Yeah, tonpei-yaki is great. What do you usually get at the bar? Squid shiokara. Definitely squid shiokara. Oh and that endless cabbage they have. That stuff is good. I don’t eat much when I drink. I usually just get a snack. That’s usually what I go with. Once you’ve finely cut the cabbage, that’s all we need to cut for today. Turn on the heat. And simply stir fry. First is the pork rib, 150g. 150g of pork rib here. Pork rib is often leftover, you know? Because bigger packs are cheaper. So they buy a big pack, use part, and end up freezing the rest of it. You can use that meat for today’s meal! First, oil the pan. Then spread out the pork and heat it up. After you’ve heated the pork, add cabbage. Stir fry that the cabbage. This is about 1/4 of the cabbage. As you stir fry the cabbage and bean sprouts, they seem to get smaller, don’t they? So please feel free to keep adding more. And stir fry them up. I might have made it too big again. I keep doing this. It may not look like it, but I do regret it. And here I’ve done it again. Is this a single serving? It was supposed to be. But maybe this is better as a good shared snack size. Adding salt and pepper. And then stir frying some more. The cabbage and sprouts will release water, so stir fry and let that water out. This is an easy flavor to make and it’s quite common. While that cooks, please crack three eggs. For the tonpei-yaki we’ll mix three eggs. (Beat three eggs.) Beat the eggs well.
(It improves the resulting flavor.) First, put this on the plate. Typical stir fry. Then take the eggs and put them in the frying pan. After the eggs, put in the cheese. Using all of it. Next, It’ll cook quickly so like this, as you cook the liquid part, the cheese will start to melt. This is easy-melt cheese. It’ll melt gradually. After the cheese melts, I’ve turned off the heat. The cheese should be melted so I’ll flip this on here. Like an omelette. After you’ve finished that, add mayonnaise. As much as you like. Add mayo, green seaweed, red pickled ginger (to your liking) Add mayo, green seaweed, red pickled ginger (to your liking) Adding sauce and some green seaweed on now. Lastly, dried bonito flakes, about this much. And red pickled ginger right about here. Tonpei-yaki. All done! (Taste test) The tonpei-yaki is all done! It’s a little big. Maybe good for two or three people. Serves as a good snack. This is from leftovers? Pretty big, right! If people have lots of leftovers, it might get big like this. It has cheese and egg, and the cheese is melty like so. Time to eat! So good! I could eat all of this! Delicious! Glad I added cheese. The sauce matches the cheese perfectly. This is really good. Similar to okonomiyaki, right? Yeah, just without flour. I think high school kids that get done with exercise would eat this and like five cups of rice. It’s that kind of meal. For veggies, we only added cabbage and bean sprouts, but you easily could do carrots or peppers as well. This would go well with any veggies you like, basically. Please give it a try. Thank you for watching today’s video! (Extra) (Bonus footage) Hatakeyama and Daio (cameraman) “You eat it like it’s good”–what’s with that wording? -It Is good!
-But it’s just leftovers, right? It’s not leftovers. It’s a meal made with leftover ingredients. What’s with that wording?
(This is not a leftover meal!) It just has that name. Plus it has cheese in it, too. Don’t worry Daio, there’s no mushrooms. He really dislikes mushrooms. Please eat. Sorry–this is actually really good! You sure changed your tune quickly! The cheese is really good. Right? It really completes the flavor. This is quite good for leftover veggies and meat. I would devour this if I was younger. It’s a good snack as an adult though. I could eat this as a meal. You’ve got a young stomach! Any requests? Something you’d like me to make? I think maybe ramen. Ah, ramen. You like Jiro-style ramen, too, right? I’d like to make it. A homemade Jiro-style ramen. Take long to make? Yeah, we’d only do one video that day. That’s right. We’d need time to prep ingredients. It’d be worth the time to introduce a homemade Jiro-style ramen. Look forward to Jiro-style ramen! We could make it a two-parter. Please let us know your requests in the comments! Thanks for visiting Tsutsumishita Shokudo! Please like and subscribe. And please follow on Twitter!
