Spicy Maple Roasted Butternut Squash & Brussels Sprouts with Crispy Bacon
hey guys what’s up it’s Monique from an ambitious kitchen today we are making a spicy maple roasted butternut squash and Brussels sprouts sort of dish with crispy bacon and a little bit of extra goodness so let’s get started first you are gonna take your Brussels sprouts we’re going to do one pound and just put them on to your baking sheet and we’ve got some butternut squash add that now it’s super simple it’s just a little bit of olive oil or you can use avocado oil drizzle that all over we’ve got some minced garlic a decent amount of cayenne peppers this is where things get a little bit heated but it’s still very delicious because we have the maple syrup that I’m gonna use to balance it out a little bit of maple syrup [Music] and then hint of cinnamon and finally some salt and pepper a decent amount [Music] now you’re gonna use your hands to toss this all together really nicely coated so you’re going to spread it out and then you’re gonna bake it at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes until the squash is fork tender so now we’re ready to make our crispy bacon for the dish so you’re gonna add about four ounces of your favorite bacon to a skillet and place it over medium-high heat and then cook it until it’s extra crispy [Music] so once your bacon is cooked you want to wrap it in a paper towel and just Pat it to dry so you can get all that excess grease off and then you can transfer it to a small cutting board we’re gonna chop it and divide sized pieces [Music] these look fantastic and are ready to be placed in our Bowl you guys concerns this dish warmer cold I like it a little bit warm perfect for Thanksgiving table okay so next up guys we are gonna add in our bacon all of it then we’ve got our pecans I like to use toasted pecans but you can also use raw whenever you prefer cranberries pomegranate also works a little pop of color and then gorgonzola [Music] so once you have everything in your bowl you can just give it a quick toss so everything’s well combined the colors are just so gorgeous a little bit spicy a little bit sweet a little candy thanks to the tea’s so good I love serving this at Thanksgiving or just any time that you want a really nice hearty veggie dish hope you guys love it [Music]

I love it 😋
Looks amazing – I will cook this today.
Wow, that sheet pan looks pretty bad. Hopefully, the vegetables don't overcook!..plus the bacon is almost burnt! Don't like cheese.
