Stuffed Bell Pepper Recipe
2 pounds ground beef
6 bell peppers (tops removed and cored of seeds and white membranes)
8 ounce can of tomato sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese

Meatloaf Stuffing Ingredients
1 onion (finely minced)
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 cup parmesan cheese
3 pods of garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons Creole mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon each: Salt, black pepper, and Tony’s Creole Seasoning

How to Make Stuffed Bell Peppers
1.) Start by preheating oven to 375 F and preparing ingredients and bell peppers.

2.) Mix the filling ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Add Salt, black pepper, and Tony’s Creole Seasoning.

3.) Place the ground beef in a large mixing bowl. Fold in the filling mixture to combine.

4.) Scoop the ground beef mixture into the bell peppers, filling to the top and mash down to fill all the nooks and crannies.

5.) Place is a greased pan or casserole dish with high sides to hold in the bell peppers. We used a 10 inch deep cast iron skillet.

6.) Bake for 45 minutes. Temp should reach at least 160F to 165F. Remove from oven and pour tomato sauce evenly over each bell pepper and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

7.) Return to the oven 5-10 minutes to melt and brown the cheese a bit.

8.) Carefully remove from oven. Sprinkle with dried parsley or basil for garnish. Use tongs or perhaps two large spoons to move the peppers to a plate. ENJOY!

  1. Hi, I made this but added jalepeno seasoning, Himalayan salt, onion seasoning, slap yo mamma seasoning, hidden valley ranch seasoning. Cheddar cheese on top. I cooked in a smaller skillet, and stuffed all the meet inside. So I used what I had and it came out so juicy and my husband was like wow your cooking is getting amazing! Thank you so much for your recipe.
