Turkey Sausage, Kale, Sweet Potato Soup 🍲

Ingredients:
1 pound ground Italian Sausage
1/2 medium onion, diced
Minced garlic
1 large sweet potato, diced
2-3 cups chopped kale
2 roma tomatoes, diced
1 can rinsed and drained cannellini beans
1 container chicken broth
2 cups water
Basil
Salt (to taste)
Pepper
Garlic powder
Italian Seasoning
Shredded parmesan
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions:
1. In an instant pot, saute ground sausage with minced garlic, onions and drain fat off meat.
2. Add seasonings: pepper, garlic powder, Italian Seasoning, Basil.
3 Add chicken broth, water, diced sweet potatoes, cannellini beans, tomatoes, kale and stir to combine ingredients.
4.Secure instant pot lid and set timer to cook for 12 minutes. Once done, vent pressure when timer goes off.
5. Add soup to bowl and serve with warm bread. Can top with parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes for added heat.
